This app is great in it's affordability, efficiency and simplicity. It gives you the best tools you need to help report, prioritize, assign and resolve bugs. It requires only the minimum amount of set up in order to get started and there's virtually no training needed. All of the relevant fields and pieces of information needed to report on bugs/issues are set up out-of-the-box and there's not much else you need! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about BugTower? The Chrome extension leaves a lot to be desired. I would have liked to see more markup tools available rather than just simply taking a screenshot. Even higher on my wishlist would be the ability to capture a video and convert into a GIF in order to show issues with transitions or animations. Recommendations to others considering BugTower: If you want a tool that helps you track and crush bugs at a basic, but still very efficient and powerful level, give Bugtower a look and compare it to the other solutions out there. When I started my current role, bug tracking was done using Google Sheets or Excel spreadsheets. Neither of these tools were built to track bugs in a simple, efficient manner and managing either method was a time suck and required a lot of "babysitting" waiting to see cells or rows updated. With Bugtower all of the relevant actions I want to see I am either notified by email or Slack message.
