## About Buffer
Buffer is a social media management platform that helps creators, small businesses, and marketing teams plan, publish, and analyze content across multiple social networks from a single dashboard. Founded in 2010, Buffer is a fully remote, bootstrapped company of 75 people serving customers in a range of industries including e-commerce, media, professional services, and nonprofit. The platform supports publishing to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Business Profile, and Mastodon. Key features include: A visual content calendar and scheduling queue for planning posts in advance across all connected accounts. An engagement inbox that consolidates comments from Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, and X into a single view for faster response management. Start Page, a customizable link-in-bio landing page builder. An AI assistant for generating post ideas, repurposing content, and adjusting tone. Analytics dashboards that track post performance, audience growth, and engagement metrics by channel. Buffer is designed for users who need straightforward social media tools without the complexity or cost of enterprise software. The platform emphasizes ease of use and quick setup, allowing users to connect accounts and begin scheduling within minutes. Pricing tiers accommodate individual creators through small teams, with a free plan available for users managing up to three channels. Buffer focuses on simplicity and reliability for creators and small teams rather than feature density for large organizations. The platform covers emerging networks like Threads and Bluesky alongside established channels, providing unified management as the social landscape evolves. The engagement inbox addresses a common pain point—scattered conversations across platforms—by bringing comments into one place for efficient community management.

## Buffer Reviews
 ### 1. A must for social media management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro P. | Productor Ejecutivo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I have enjoyed the free plan for almost 2 years and I must say that it is more than enough for all the needs I have had. I can publish to 3 of the most important social networks, on a scheduled basis, and with great control over the look of my publications

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I think that the publishing interface could be a little more intuitive. It's not bad at all, but I thingthere are room for improve.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Give Buffer a try. It's so easy to set up that you could be posting in 3 major social media in just minutes. You are going to love it.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Social media publishing is a tricky matter. With Buffer you can schedule all your future posts even at specific time. For me, that means pace of mind to don't forget publish anymore.

 ### 2. Professionally program your publications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soraya E. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is a software designed to program your publications in your social networks or computer platforms, allowing you to stay connected in some without neglecting the others, this wonderful and ingenious tool allows you to manually or automatically program when you will make the publications, also see who likes your posts and follow them up. Currently this tool has the possibility in its free version to connect with three social networks, whatever you want, that is, you can connect with Facebook, Instagram, twitter, google and all its tools, LinkedIn among others. Another advantage that I could see in this application is that you can do everything directly from the cloud, this means that there is no need to save anything but it is done automatically

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The platform seems a bit heavy, although the visualization of the tool is simple and practical, when entering any data, the process is very slow, that is, you must be waiting for the option to load

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

For professionals it is wonderful, you can manage some applications on the web or all if you pay for a version with more benefits that is to say with unlimited accounts, and the prices are accessible

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is good for when you work in the area of social media marketing but for home use it is not highly recommended, since you only have three applications, although of course you like to share in all your social networks, and let's say most of the time only you use Facebook, you can use this tools for email applications or even keep your LinkedIn account active, it has its benefits if used creatively

 ### 3. Buffer - One of the best Social Media Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** HARSH M. | D, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The group scheduling feature is the best

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Using it since a year nothing to dislike

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

A very good tool. Go for it.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling 28 Pages in one go

 ### 4. Convenient social media posting + scheduling tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** See S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Love how it allows you to compile and schedule social media posts for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and even Instagram all in one place!

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

How it doesn't directly post to Instagram sometimes-it only sends a reminder with the caption +visual.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Buffer is not complete social media management tool with listening, engagement and monitoring features along with the post scheduling aspect. Buffer only has post scheduling so of you need a complete social management tool then Hootsuite or Agorapulse is where you need to look!

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Social media content development is a ongoing challenge and needs to be addressed everyday, so Buffer helps us organize, schedule and post to multiple networks in one shot!

 ### 5. Easy Scheduling for Multiple Social Platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eva S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

We use it to schedule our social media post across different channels ( Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin ) well ahead. Great organization tool and allows easy queuing, re-ordering and good consolidated overview of what posts are going out in the next few weeks. Price is extremely reasonable as well.

Design-wise, it also support GIFs and Videos and allow good preview ahead of publishing. The UI is great for beginners, with easy learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The tools is generally great, however, there are times when I have to re-login again instead of staying logged in to the social media accounts I am managing (at least for a period of time) which is quite frustrating.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy scheduling and management of social media accounts for company

 ### 6. Very good to analyze what is shared on the network

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anabel P. | HEAD MARKET RESEARCH, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

What I like most about buffering is that it helps me to stay connected to my social networks even when I'm too busy with the day. If you're a marketing expert, you'll know the most recommended hours to get fans, but if you don't, this site gives you tips so you know the right hours for more people to get what you post. This platform includes a free (of course limited) version where you can connect up to three social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn among other sites, you can register very quickly and easily, and of course, as you need more options you can buy your packages up to $10 a month.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

That mobile version is not as complete as the tablet version i.e. you wont have every view of a choices this may lead to disadvantages when you choose to use the app.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

This is perfect because you are always busy and involved on social media because if you have a freetime at any time of this week, it can plan the first message.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It promotes my being able to exchange information on my social networks when im involved in other events or projects because my job keeps me constantly busy often i ignore for instance my twitter and my facebook sites that i use most frequently but this tool has made it easy because i hardly have the programming time and the app does it by itself.

 ### 7. Gets the job done, but there are better tools

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Very easy to schedule social posts across multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

We used the free account so obviously limited features.

Many times would schedule a post and it either wouldn't post (especially on LinkedIn) or would drop the link and link preview (especially on Twitter and Facebook).

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

If you need a tool with more features/more reliable, Hootsuite or HubSpot might be better options.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It made scheduling social posts for four platforms much simpler than going to each network individually. Could move through my tasks more quickly.

 ### 8. Great Scheduling Tool for Beginners

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah P. | Social Media and Influencer Marketing Coordinator, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I like how visual Buffer's scheduling platform is. It allows me to see text and pictures for each post. I also appreciate how I am able to create hashtag sets for the Instagram accounts I manage.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

When you're not in an account manager position, your access is limited, but one of those limiters is rescheduling posts. So, if I were to want to reschedule a post that has already been approved for being published, I would have to delete that post instead of rescheduling it.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a great platform to publish content through. When content doesn't get published (some sort of malfunction) a notification is sent to alert you.

 ### 9. Excellent, even on the free plan

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Very easy to use, simple integration, handy mobile app

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Not its fault, but scheduling to Insta isn't ideal

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Make sure you understand insta scheduling!

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very easy to schedule posts across platform, changing images etc

 ### 10. One-stop tool for multiple social media account management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabitri B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The best feature of a Buffer is that it allows adding all most all types of famous social media accounts within a single dashboard for their better management. Also, post creation and scheduling feature is another beautiful feature of this application.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Buffer does not have a media library that would help the user to choose from various generic graphics and images while drafting any social media posts.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Buffer, we are now able to manage all our social media profiles and pages from a single dashboard. While using this application, it is flexible to draft and schedule posts as per our requirement.

 ### 11. Very useful SM automation tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tatiana P. | Chief Marketing Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2017

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Not having to post manually for various time zones and social media accounts. How easy to use and straightforward it is. The fact that you can customize one post for each channel. New promo functionality looks exciting. Look forward to trying it.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The new design implies we need to post separately to each SM channel. Old design had the option to post to all channels by default. I guess they had analytics suggesting a separate scheduling approach was more popular/safer maybe, but for me personally it was convenient.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Be cautious with links and images, best to add an image to each SM post separately.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazing time saver.

 ### 12. Buffer is amazing social media publishing tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** priyanka s. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

This tool saves a lot of our time in scheduling day to day posts on facebook, twitter and Instagram. I like the simplicity of this tool that allows me to easily connect facebook, instagram and twitter and schedule them on our social media pages. Also the analytics feature of this tool let me know which social media posts are performing for me or not which is a great help

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

There is nothing to dislike about this tool

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

This tool is best for scheduling & automating your social media posts

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool saves a great deal of time as we can schedule posts in days or weeks in advance. These posts get a lot of engagements & likes using this tool. We can analyze our posts and see which time our posts are performing on what time and we can improve upon it

 ### 13. Buffer is decent but decided to switch to something else.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

It was easy to schedule out posts on multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I didn't like how I couldn't collaborate with our clients.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

I really like Buffer except for the lack of the ability to collaborate with our clients on the platform.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used buffer for managing our posting schedules for over a dozen client accounts.

 ### 14. It works well with some drawbacks.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maddy E. | Digital Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2017

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

As a post scheduling tool on multiples platforms across multiple accounts, Buffer is well-organized and is very efficient. We have rarely had an issue where a post didn't go through.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

There are limitations. Buffer is picky about what video files it takes. We have a lot of posts where we want to use Facebook tools (handshake tool, check-in tool, feelings tool) which you can't do with Buffer. You also can't tag other pages which is a huge drawback for us. It definitely ups our engagement when we can tag other pages but it's not hard to go in and do that after the post is up.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Go for it! It works well. Just keep in mind that there will be some things you can only do straight on the platforms you're posting on... Of course, that's not really Buffer's fault...social sites want you to post and schedule directly.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you're looking for a reliable posting tool and can do without some of the bells and whistles, this is the one for you. It has done an excellent job letting us schedule posts and it has been extremely reliable with few outages or bugs. Generally if there is a slight issue, they address it quickly and communicate during the process.

 ### 15. Buffer is helping me to manage my social media pages efficiently

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasroop S. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

What i like best bout buffer is that it is so easy to use this smm tool. I can easily attach all my social media pages to buffer and schedule posts across all social channels. Also, i like the analytics feature of this tool which let me know how my social media posts are performing on different social channels. I like the visual representation of report which makes it easy for me to understand what went write and what went wrong on social channels

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

This tool is best and I have faced no issues with this tool

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

If you are small organization and have less resources then this tool can be a big help

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using this tool I can easily manage my social media publishing and it saves a lot of my time and also I have seen the engagement of pages going up because I can analyze the best posting times for all my pages

 ### 16. Amazing Social Media Management Tool, Especially for Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edwin G. | Content Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Its intuitive UI makes it's a breeze to use, even for beginners. Offers quite a number of features on the free plan.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The pricing can be a bit prohibitive for individuals. Its cost seems more suited for a team with a sizable budget.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily, I use the app to schedule posts at day and times when I know the posts will receive the most engagement. As a result, I get a pretty good return on the time I spend creating social media posts.

 ### 17. Buffer is saving a lot of our time in scheduling posts across all social platforms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nav D. | Co-Founder, Photography, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is a great SMM tool that helps me to connect all my social media posts in one place and I need not hop from one social media platform to others. I can manage all my social media platforms by login on this platform. I like the interface of this tool which is so simple and I can easily do whatever is required. This tool also helps me to know how my posts are performing on all social platforms

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

This tool has not given a us a tough time till now let's see what happens in future

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

If you are managing multiple social profiles then you should use this tool

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time what i like about this tool is that it saves a lot of our time that goes into managing multiple social platforms. Also, this tool is not expensive so the investment seems to be worth

 ### 18. Tool to manage and program contents in all social networks. .

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Violet G. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer makes it easy to pre-program my social network postings and I can also manage several different accounts from one place. At our marketing company, it is also easy for customers to understand and use on their own time if they are on their phone or computer, I love using Buffer to plan my social network strategy. This is what I like most about this: 1) It easily integrates with Twitter, Facebook, and linkendin. It works with Pinterest and Instagram, but I only use it for Facebook, Twitter and Linkendin. 2) You can use it for free for up to 10 programmed publications at a time (as of this writing) and this allows you to be sure that it works for you and your needs. 3) The team behind Buffer is fantastic. The few times I needed to contact support helped me right away and my problem was solved that way.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Here are four things Buffer could do better. 1) The user interface can be a bit clumsy at times. I think I could use a makeover. It's not terrible at all, but it can be confusing to find out. 2) Sometimes the extension doesn't connect properly and gets stuck in a load pattern. 3) I often have to go and re-authorize Twitter or Facebook to work again. It can be annoying to do this over and over again. 4)Connection problems occur quite frequently with LinkedIn; this may be more on the platform side than with Buffer itself, but nevertheless it is frustrating. In addition, Instagram features can be limiting, for example, not being able to schedule a video publication (or choosing a suitable cover image for the video). In general, these drawbacks are only slight and do not prevent me from loving Buffer.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

I appreciate the simplicity of the product: I connect accounts, write your messages and set a publication schedule. All the tools are there to manage social network messages on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and (sometimes) Instagram. I also appreciate the shortening / tagging of personalized links and the workflow of approving messages to collaborate with others, recommended 100%

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a person who manages marketing in all fields of a company, including its traditional advertising, website maintenance and content, with HR next door, the buffer has allowed me to stay up to date with social networks without worries. I can take a day every few weeks and implement a plan that will run in the background while other tasks consume me. It's a real lifesaver.

 ### 19. Best tool to manage all social media accounts at one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anmol D. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The best thing Buffer provides us is posts scheduling feature, it's really useful to get our blog posts live at a given time and I can even schedule posts for many days. Overall, Buffer is a must have for Social Media users who can't spend waking every hour to post.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Honestly there isn't a lot I dislike about Buffer but sometimes the hashtag lists didn't displayed correctly and errors can be shown when tagging someone's profile. Overall, these cons are only very small ones and it won't stop me from using Buffer.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

In simple words it's really a nice tool to manage all social media accounts in one place.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Buffer our overall productivity is greatly increased, after using it we don't have to waste time to manually schedule each post on every social media channel and we can also use both of our mobile and pc's for this job.

 ### 20. Powerful social media management in a simple design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The design is clean and simple, allowing me to focus on the content I'm curating rather than on the platform I'm using to manage it.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Team collaboration features are lacking some functionality that would help the team be more productive in suggesting, curating, editing, and approving content for distribution. Costs prohibit us from increasing to larger team packages (5 team members is a little too small for our situation).

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Buffer focuses on simplicity of design and keeping itself out of the way of your content focus. This is great, although it may not have the "bells and whistles" of competitor products, we found that most of that wasn't really necessary in our case and only got in the way or distracted us from what we needed to focus on.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coordinating social media across multiple channels with a small team.

 ### 21. Social Media Management with Buffer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

Schedule posts, track the performance of your content, and manage all your accounts from a single place. Indefinite free plan. The team management feature has allowed multiple people to post from the same account, perfect for a multi-person marketing team. Very optimal apps on both Android and iOS. Lastly, I highlight Buffer's ability to edit and create images, something unique in this type of application.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Few features in the free plan although you can enjoy it indefinitely.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

A perfect tool to manage your social networks, intuitive and easy to use, that will allow you to better understand your customers.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits, all of which represent managing your company's social media from an easy and simple tool that allows you to save a lot of time in your daily work. Get to know my customers better, understand their concerns, and resolve their doubts.

Great tool to have a one single place where you can schedule all your posts for weeks or months to come. Great to schedule but also great to help you analysed the results from the post.

Also occasionally the post stop being publish as the social media platform has to be reactivated.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

It makes life more easier, simple and allows to post in different platforms and multple accounts.
It also gives you an option to track number of views on each posts you have posted using buffer.

 ### 24. Great for scheduling social media posts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny G. | Jenny Glasgow, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

This program allows you to do a whole week's worth of social media posting in just minutes. It's nice that Instagram is also included in the channel options, since they don't offer scheduling through their app.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I've come across a few flaws while using the program, it doesn't notify you via email if there is an issue with the post which can be frustrating. With Instagram scheduling you can't schedule posts with multiple photos, which is a shame. The requirements for the Instagram photo dimensions are also a pain. If your photo isn't the right size there isn't any easy way to resize it within the program to the right dimensions.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program definitely helps save time so that you don't have to constantly be posting every day. It's also super helpful when you need to schedule posts in different time zones.

 ### 25. Certainty in each of its publications.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcel M. | Professional Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

One of the reasons I use Buffer is because it allows me to have an enviable convenience to send or publish content on multiple social platforms. In addition to this, if I have any questions about the program, there is no concern about, since it has relatively efficient support in terms of case resolution. Another element to highlight is that it is very easy to use, the free version is very complete but for a more dynamic and totally powerful functions the paid version is the ideal one, besides its cost is not so expensive.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

A small headache of this program is that it would be ideal your reports to work best, I explain, the idea of having a complete report is that you get a proper analysis according to the social network or platform where Buffer is being executed, what happens is that The analysis is not complete, what Buffer did to solve this mishap was to add a report analysis tool which is paid, which makes it a bit difficult for people or companies with limited budgets. Another triggering factor is that the price structure, although it is not expensive in general terms, there are functionalities that must be acquired by canceling these costs.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

I highlight this program in order to give Buffer a good reputation so that the whole community and colleagues join with their services. It is ideal to promote its products or services without many obstacles on different platforms, social networks is a purely commercial ally and this program with its characteristics you can take full advantage to be able to have the necessary scope in its publications.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The marketing department is using this tool to manage social networks with a lot of professionalism. It has also helped us to have a significant reach of the publications, having a resounding success when programming with certainty the content in each social network. We are happy to have a program aligned to the development of online and digital marketing.

 ### 26. Never miss a social post!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary Vianca D. | Admin and Content Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

My favorite feature is the notifications i get when it's time to post! I don't have to do anything else, I just click on the notification, confirm that I want to post and it goes straight away. It now has a feature to automatically post, which I'm still trying to get used to, we'll see about that later on.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Nothing so far, I've been using buffer for about three years now and it's always worked well for me.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Highly recommend trying this software! Comes in both web and app so you can easily manage things on whatever device you're using.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We usually do photoshoots and gather pictures to be posted every 2 or three days on our social media accounts... Buffer makes it easy to schedule them and even write the caption/text that goes along with the photos.

 ### 27. Buffer is best for scheduling social media posts on different social channels

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** VP S. | Creative Directors, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I like the simplicty of this tool with which I can easily schedule posts across all social platforms. I can connect all my important social media accounts such as twitter, facebook and Instagram on it and it smoothly schedule it on social media. The analytics feature let us know how our social media posts are going. We can also figure which time is working best for us

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

This tool works best for our team and we have no issues with it

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

This tool works best for small teams and we have a small set of team so with this tool we can manage everything easily

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is helping us to schedule posts on social media that save our time and also we can save a lot of our time and our social media engagement has increased

 ### 28. Buffer for Scheduling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angie G. | Digital Content Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I like the newest feature - being able to schedule stories. I find that other scheduling software does not have this, which to me is insane. This allows you to be able to lay out a calendar of reminders via the stories tool on IG.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I don't like the pay for more features situation. I am a small business who is one employee, not a corporation. I feel like being able to have a full set of tools at a small business-friendly price would be fair.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Make sure to choose the right pay bracket for you and highlight what is important to your business when using social media for promotional efforts.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to set out calendars for social media so that everything stays consistent and constantly updated. I can easily cross post and stay on top of my analytics.

 ### 29. Great platform to manage all social media accounts.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The best part about this software is that it allows the maintenance of multiple social accounts at one place and the level of ease to manage even 10-15 accounts is really high. This software is so well designed making is easy to access.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The phone app for Buffer has a lot of room for improvement.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing multiple accounts on the phone and scheduling multiple posts a day without having to worry about checking them again and again if they have been posted. I am totally able to Buffer to post right on time.

 ### 30. Great tool to get your posts automated, but lacking some features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ralf M. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer helped me organise my social media calendar, and more important, helped me stick to my social media calendar. It is easy and straight-forward to use, and reliable at the same time. Also, I find it a very affordable platform when talking about pricing.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

It is lacking some 'internationality'. Facebook Posts in multiple languages are a great tool from Facebook, but can't be used through Buffer. It will post your post as scheduled, but any supplementary features from the social media channels like multiple languages, but also things as Carousels etc can not be used and still will need to be posted manually. The same is true for LinkedIn. If you want to post into a group, then Buffer can not do this for you.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

If you need an affordable tool to help you organise and automate your social media posts in an easy way, then Buffer is for you. But bear in mind you will not able to use any special publishing features offered by the Socila Media channels themselves like posting in multiple languages, using carousels or diashows etc., or in the case of LinkedIn - post to groups

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To organise my Social Media posting schedule in the most time-efficient way and to motivate myself to stick to it, always making sure my posting calendar is well filled and consistent.

 ### 31. A Great Tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sally M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I like that you can schedule content to be sent out and even if you don't have time- you can still plan out and make your life easier

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I dislike that you can't tag anyone in posts and have it post automatically.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

A great product to use for companies who have lots of posts to push out multiple times a day but don't have the ability to manually do it or the time. This helps you schedule out posts in advance so that you can spend your time in other ways and doing other jobs. A great tool and a must-have for marketing purposes!

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving lots of scheduling issues and being able to save time scheduling out posts months in advance.

 ### 32. Buffer Dashboard

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Palak G. | Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer dashboard is neat and clean. You will only see a queue of social media posts which you've queued to review or more appropriately which are scheduled to be reviewed. The dashboard is really attractive and organized.

 ### 33. Social Buffer for Campaigns

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gina Marie K. | Freelance Resume Writer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The ability to schedule out - ahead, in advance - image-heavy social media updates made my life at work 100% easier for my 4-year long tenure at a professional services firm. Campaigns became themed by week or holiday, contained quotes, images, calls to action - included multiple posts in a single day - and involved twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. At some point, an API configuration changed and I was no longer able to post to our company's LinkedIn profile through the platform; which was a bummer. That one social site became the only manual update I made. ON the flip side, I reviewed and replied to comments and monitored the likes we received, but it was sooooo hard to do all at one time (create, post, engage). Buffer closed the gap and made my social marketing worthwhile.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

It was easy to forget to go back onto the pages themselves to check how the audiences were reacting; I'm embarrassed to say it was about a week before I noticed the likes and potential comments I'd still need to tend to... luckily, no harm done.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Always make sure you are checking your actual social media sites to respond to and engage with comments - could be a huge opportunity for customers or to improve a brand image.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a one-woman marketing department of a small but busy company became easier - my social sphere of influence was larger - thanks to Buffer. Benefits included more reach on campaigns where I used social media channels as a traffic driver back to the company website.

 ### 34. Simple scheduling, not really a power tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I appreciate the simplicity of the interface - it makes it easy to quickly draft and schedule posts across multiple channels at once, and to get a holistic view of what you have scheduled so you can fill in gaps accordingly. I also like the custom shortening/tagging of URLs.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

While Buffer is very reliable for Facebook and Twitter, it can be less so for Instagram and LinkedIn. It can be difficult to schedule video posts for Instagram (sometimes an issue, sometimes not) and I've regularly lost the connection to LinkedIn and had to re-authenticate. Some of this may fall on the platforms themselves, but it's still frustrating.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

I'd make sure that the toolset meets your needs in terms of reporting. Other tools offer more robust reporting, but that isn't always necessary.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buffer is saving my team (and other teams in my department) time with bulk scheduling of social media content, as well as serving as an easy calendar tool for drafting and collaborating on posts. it's definitely made it easier to quickly understand what's going out where, and also how it's performing.

 ### 35. Buffer won't forget to publish on social networks anymore.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma S. | senior designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is a tool for social network management, very easy and simple to use, in one hour you can have everything configured and ready to use, you can connect all your social networks and schedule up to 10 daily publications in its free version, which I think great because sometimes you can forget to publish with Buffer prevent this from happening, plus you can publish the same content on several networks at the same time which makes the job much easier and even allows you to take several customers because you can organize the work better.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

There is really nothing that I dislike about Buffer, it is a very powerful tool or software and easy to use, it allows you to manage all social networks from a single tool which makes it my favorite when it comes to work allowing me to go further in the digital world.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

I recommend Buffer if you are working in the world of social networks, because with this tool you can manage several social networks at the same time and schedule publications allowing you to work in a more orderly and organized way, it can help you to better manage social networks and achieve growth in the digital world.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment in the company we are using Buffer for the handling of social networks, thanks to this tool we have grown in the social networks due to that now we publish constantly, thanks to that we program the publications allowing us to have everything ordered.

 ### 36. Good for planning posts in advance, accepts most platforms

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Once it is set up, it's pretty easy to use. You can select dates in advance which I like.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Sometimes by SM accounts "disconnect" with no warning or reason, and I have to resubmit them -- this seems to be an issue only with Instagram right now, but I wish they would fix it

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can plan all of my SM posts for the week or month in one sitting. This saves me time each day but not having to log in and post manually 0 and it helps me develop a consistent strategy across all platforms

 ### 37. Scheduling of posts made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nakel S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer has really been helpful in scheduling posts and contents on customers Social Media platform, it has drastically helped us increase engagement and drive more leads .

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Buffer does not allow scheduling for story posts this makes it slightly difficult for us to completely automate our services.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Buffer would really help automate and make work faster, it would also make working with other companies easier

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling and posting of contents on social media platforms. This has helped reduce the workload and made us work with multiple companies.

 ### 38. Excellent Scheduling Tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I like that I can customize the time slots or leave it to their experts if I'd like. It's nice to pre-schedule different social media posts on all platforms ahead of time so I can knock it off my to-do list and not worry about trying to remember to post on social media every single day. It also helps my plan an overall direction of social media posting.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Sometimes it will disconnect the social media accounts and you'll have to reconnect them, but if that's the worst thing then we're all good. I use the free version so I can only connect a certain amount of accounts, but it's fine because my company only has a few.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saved me so much time and has made much of my social media posting stress-free! Especially with Twitter because Twitter doesn't have a scheduling function within the platform like Facebook does.

 ### 39. Managing your entire Social Media Account in one place is easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

This software is easy to use for beginners. Provides customization options, making it easier for you to get used to the application. If you have an Instagram account, it allows you to send mail directly to Instagram and has an emoji keyboard and geotagging.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

He doesn't do everything I want him to do, but unfortunately I don't have another social media management tool to do. If you are unfamiliar with the software, you may accidentally submit it. You can send all channels from a single location, but you cannot edit or remove them.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Buffer saved me from time, money and stress for my pessimistic social days by allowing him to plan ahead and go. Buffer learning is more successful than alternatives thanks to its suggestion capabilities.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I spend an hour or two for Buffer to set up social media for the week. I save a lot of time because it is easy to use. It works automatically for me the rest of the time. I love that you can easily copy and paste between social media accounts.

 ### 40. One of the Best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shavonne P. | CEO & Digital Media Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is a simple, beautiful, and easy to use social media management software. It's great for those with a smaller budget and just starting out or those who don't like working with technology. I love how Buffer integrations with so many different platforms and the Chrome extension are beyond easy to use and make it simple and quick to collect content for your queue. Overall, you should be able to get it up and running in an hour or less with little effort and you will love the setup and ease of everything.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The pricing structure is a bit all over the place and I hate how they have broken up the different platforms that you really need as an all in one option. For instance, in order to respond to your audience, you would need to use a separate software called Buffer Analyze and it has its own fee in addition to what you for Buffer. Buffer has a free option but you can only connect 3 accounts and you can only schedule 10 posts per account. That can get to be time-consuming and eventually with growth you'll need to upgrade, but the good news is that they have a $15 plan that is great for the next step up.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

This is another great one for those just starting out in their business and desires something simple and quick to use to manage their social media. When you start to grow you will need to consider other options due to cost due to everything being broken up into different platforms.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling for a Client their social media posts and being able to quickly curate content from just about any source using the Buffer Chrome extension.

 ### 41. Work when traveling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mattia P. | Kibelis Design Co-founder & Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The most helpful thing about Buffer is that it allows you to work from everywhere in the world. You can plan, schedule and prepare your posts wherever an internet connection is available, which makes it a very useful tool especially for entrepreneurs.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The least helpful thing is that you can't post directly from Buffer, so you need to plan and prepare your posts first, and then to move to the social media apps to actually publish them.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

I don't have any special recommendation, except to take your time to learn how to use it properly in order to exploit the best of the software.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buffer helps me to work when I'm on some business trip, or even during my free time and vacations in case of need. It also reminds you when you scheduled your posts, so it's very useful to prevent yourself from forgetting the stuff you need to do.

 ### 42. Easy to use social network management, which will save you time.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin L. | Digital Merchandising Manager , Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is extremely easy to use, it allows me to connect an RSS feed from my website so I can get links and photos for Twitter and Facebook posts. Thanks to this, I can never forget to publish a story and I don't have to spend much time to execute a social media strategy. It is also an app in the cloud and online with which I can work from any device and anywhere without needing to be transporting or saving changes.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

One feature I don't like is that the free version is very limited. It only allows 10 publications, it does not allow to export statistics and it does not allow to modify the schedule. I also think that they should make an improvement in the Web version, since from the mobile it is not optimized and does not look complete, so some options cannot be accessed.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

If your organization needs a tool that helps you have an active presence in social networks without having to be attached to them all day I recommend using Buffer.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buffer helps us manage and program our social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. We schedule 2 to 4 publications per week. I receive a notification when I finish the queue, in this way I can always organize and create new publications. Also, I don't have to manage a list of links, headlines, photos and social media platforms by myself.

 ### 43. Able to schedule so many posts!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zackary J. | Social Media Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

With my Buffer account, i'm able to schedule dozens and dozens of posts for clients, making me able to do most of my job in just 1 or 2 days of the week. Buffer is also relatively inexpensive.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

When scheduling posts, there is occasionally a problem with hashtags showing up and working correctly. Some people say you need to do them manually for them to really work; however, that isn't proven.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

I think the amount of time you will save is worth the investment; however, if you don't have much money to spare, it might be better spent elsewhere.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to schedule posts for my clients working with OneIMS, which lets me spend most of my days doing other things.

 ### 44. Definition Of Convenience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

It is a user-friendly and extremely simple software for social media. Beginners or anyone can use this without any hassle.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The updated layout of Buffer has caused me some inconvenience. Earlier there was an option to select the calendar which only shows posts that are scheduled, it was very easy to spot if I had missed anything.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

It is extremely simple for users, regardless of your experience of using social media software. If you are new they have pointers that give information and that you can dismiss upon knowing them. Plus this software gives notifications when the calendar is clear or if any post has not gone through. That is really important. It is really a great and simple software.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software has made scheduling and analytics so much simpler for me. Esp, scheduling on Instagram with the first comment; wherein we can add the hashtags. I don't have to do it manually!
Also, it announces when the posts are over, this is a good reminder to schedule the other posts.

 ### 45. Buffer saves me the stress of sharing my articles

Buffer helps me manage all my company's social media handles from a place. I connected my Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook pages so whenever I have an information to pass, I just lo-gin to my buffer dashboard.
I also schedule posts and good a thing, the free plan allows up to 10 scheduled posts per day which is pretty good for me.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

In scheduling posts, if they can change the time to West African time it'll be great.
Also, I always have to reauthorize my Twitter account which is not so annoying, I which thy can do something about that too.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Buffer app is great, I use the free plan which allow up to 10 schedules per day and it's okay for me. If you need more than that, you can as well upgrade to the premium.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Ease of use. I appreciate that I can add photos or change the link photo as well.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I can’t tag other businesses in Facebook or LinkedIn for example when I’m cross promoting events. Unless I haven’t realized how, I wish I could set different time zones up for each page I’m posting to since we have clients in various states that we create content for.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time and scheduling which frees me up. Able to serve other clients by adding their accounts on Buffer and post to them.

 ### 48. Excellent platform to manage social networks.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosmery U. | Community manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Managing social network accounts efficiently is one of the main objectives of my trade, it is currently very demanded by organizations or companies to have a community manager, and I particularly think that having a correct software portfolio makes the difference, is why buffer is part of this portfolio, the ease of publishing content on multiple platforms effectively and integration as a complement to Chrome makes it worthy to be my favorite ally.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

They must improve two aspects and is in favor of this platform is perfect, the first is the flaws that are commonly presented with istagram and the second and last in my case is to improve the functionality of labeling.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Although it facilitates the work and saves you effort if you make a correct programming I do not recommend leaving it alone, do weekly monitoring or as often as you decide to work on insurance.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage the social networks of my clients, program the contents and publish them automatically. Increase in the visibility of the accounts I manage.

 ### 49. I had an excellent experience with buffer.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The most remarkable feature I love about buffer is its organized layout that makes it relatively easy to keep social media accounts updated. It has an automated feature for timing social media posts. Its user interface has a sophisticated appearance with options available for adding social media networks such as,Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The only lapse that I have seen in this software is the lack of integration of Instagram in it. Instagram being a big platform needs to be integrated with this software too. Moreover, there are no tools to monitor integral social media things such as hashtags, and number of searches per day or per week etc. There should be an addition of these monitoring tools so that we might be able to have a check and balance upon the social media marketing strategies and social campaigns that we run across Twitter to enhance out marketing. The incorporation of these tools might play a key role in making us eligible to evaluate the lapses that remained in our campaigns and strategies.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Buffer is a highly recommended software solution for social media marketing.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company has solved multiple problems using buffer. We were facing a lack of correlation of out social media platforms due to which there was always a confusion regarding content, number of posts, blog posts and posts per week. Using buffer we have solved all these problems as it is a single platform through which all the social media platforms are handles and integrated. Moreover, we used to face problem regarding statistical analysis of our social media strategies. By using buffer we were able to analyze the results of our campaigns and formulate new effective strategies to market out company more effectively on different social media platforms. This software is highly recommended as it provides the best experience for the use of a single platform to manage several different tasks.
