It's nice to be able to schedule ahead of time on multiple platforms in one place.

The scheduling tends to be unreliable; many times a post will miss its schedule and the user doesn't find out until later.

Using buffer saves time scheduling on social media and allows staff to be offline as needed while still maintaining an active online presence.

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Posting is simple. Upload your photo, add your text, schedule your post, and you are done. Doing all of that is incredibly easy to do.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The problems that I had with Buffer was more to do with setup and posting to multiple sights. Trying to setup my Instagram account was a nightmare, and one account could not be set up at all because of an issue with Facebook. With some of the posting software that I have used, you can post to multiple sites in one post. In Buffer, I had to post to each individual site. With the ability now to schedule posts to share to FB and Instagram from FB business suite, it completely eliminated my need to use Buffer altogether.

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

It is very easy with just one click i can share my content across all the platforms and i cam also schedule my posts.also one benefit is that it allow to post on pinterest as well.also it has a tool which help to create and edit picture before scheduling or uploading it.

The thing which i dont like about it is that it does not include instagram and it has no integration to it which means i cant post and schedule posts on isntagram.also there are no tools for mentioning and hashtag over their.

Right now i am using buffer for scheduling my posts on facebook and on twitter not just for me but for my company as well and i used to handke different account for my clients where buffer is very much helpfull. Also from buffee i can see the analytics that how much engagement i am getting for all the posts.

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

It allows me to schedule and manage posts for different social media profiles at a single window. The preview option is useful to see how your posts will look like once it get posted. For Instagram, you can schedule a first comment to be posted on the actual post which is helpful to target the hashtags.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The pricing is a bit high for someone who is just starting his business and wants to promote business online. Also, most of the tasks can be manually done on social media platforms. Basically, Buffer is to provide ease in digital marketing efforts. You can do most of things manually, obviously it will take time and efforts.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management. You can schedule for different social media platforms from a single web browser window. As they say, time is money, you can utilise the time saved in other business activities.

Sometimes Buffer won't notify you if a post fails to upload — you have to manually check on Facebook

It's much easier to schedule out a ton of posts on Facebook versus just going on Facebook and scheduling through their system

scheduling gives you a global overview of your social media strategy and its cohesiveness on all social media sites, centralizes all your social media for everyone on the team to work on, very intuitive

the free plan is good but still limited and given their price, paid versions are really targeted at companies with money, not non-profits or student societies; randomly disconnects from the social media site; no explanation for why some posts fails randomly

The best part is tool is very robust. We can login at one place and easily update the post and also set the time. The post will get updated on your selected social platforms.

I don't find anything in the app to dislike, have been using from the last 2years for my clients.

Automating the entire process makes it easy to plan and schedule on social media. Especially when you are managing multiple accounts and do not have a dedicated resource. By using this tool, I can spend more time of strategizing and less time implementing.

UX can be better. And they had a feature back when they launched to add rss feeds for content resharing which was great.

We use Buffer to schedule content publications in the social networks of our organization, I have been able to efficiently control our active accounts and keep them always up to date, through a software that does not represent any complication, its interface is pleasant, it is extremely easy to use and its functionalities and analytics are excellent references to know how we are doing day after day.

Only that the mobile version does not have all the features that the web version has, however I think it is normal, as in many applications.

It is simply the ideal tool to publish all kinds of content to different social media platforms and boost digital marketing strategies, we recommend Buffer without hesitation.

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is a great package of social media management tools that rocks a great design and is very consistent with it's support and improvements over time. It also helps a lot that it's cheaper compared to other competitors in some ways. The price gives it a competitive advantage if you're pitching an acquisition of an SMM platform to companies that aren't willing to spend a lot on their digital marketing activities.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

It lacks some conveinent features that the competitors offer. I'm talking about features like integrated tagging for Twitter and LinkedIn. Last time I used this software it still lacked the proper tagging features which requires you to make an extra step to open a separate tab to check whether you got the username right or wrong. 

Another aspect I dislike is that Buffer's middle range plan is intended for two users only. In my opinion, the mid range option should be for at least three people. At the time of choosing, we decided to go with Hootsuite because it's mid-range plan, while more expensive, was intended for three people and also offered more of the above-mentioned features.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Give Buffer's and other management platforms' trials a go before making a final decision. The user experience can make or break using a social media management platform.

Saving time and improving the quality of social media content marketing. It's much easier to schedule the same post from Buffer across different social media platforms than doing so separately. It might seem like a small tweak but makes a great difference for digital marketers.

I use to love Buffer but after several tries on a new PC, reconnecting a FB page and several groups to have my content schedule back to auto posting, the only solution that worked was to remove all pages and groups with a month's worth of content all gone! This is so annoying and inconvenient that we might just get another system altogether if they do this shit all the time. If I have new PCs and need to change password of my social accounts they will need to reauthenticate EVERY FUCKING TIME and this isn't helping me save time at all! Not worth it all the headache.

This tool is one of the best on the market, ideal for programming on multiple platforms quickly and easily, it also offers the ability to create content and publish on multiple social media platforms at the same time, I also like that you can easily edit and modify the same post, you can also set different times for the same post for different media, it offers a great solution to pre-schedule photos on different social networks, it offers me the ability to write posts quickly and effectively, it is a very simple platform.

I use it on several social networks and it has worked very well for me, I am very happy for its great performance, I have nothing negative to say about this tool, it is very useful to keep a better control of all my social networks.

This tool allows me to customize the messages for each social media account, we were also able to manage several social media accounts from one place, it gives me a clear way to see all my recent publications on different platforms, also the analysis system tells you which one It is the greatest success of your publications, it also allows you to see the general response and performance of your publications from the various platforms, it saves us a lot of time and dedicates it to other things within your workplace, it is easy to use and simplifies programming.

I really like how you can post the same thing on multiple social media sites at the same time, while also being able to edit on each individual one also. Also being able to schedule when to do your posts and at what time makes things so convenient when you are posting social media as part of your job,

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

One of the big dislikes is how on some pictures I try to post on Instagram, depending if the picture size is different than the normal then it will not post so I have to do it manually on my phone on Instagram which is a pain. That is really my only dislike about Buffer.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

I would recommend that you do what I did and take the time to learn the features and what it offers before trying to use it to post anything. Once you learn all the features and how you can use it to schedule months of social media and how to adjust the times of when they post, you will be using it to its full potential which is very worth it!

I have been able to schedule so many posts for the weekend, when I do not work, so that they can be posted as usual and post at the times I want it to. This makes scheduling posts in advance so easy which is great for when I get busy and either have no time to post anything or if I just forget to post something. That way no matter what, something is being posted and keeping my work's social media up to date everyday.

I like that you can schedule multiple platforms at once. You can select one platform to post on and content from that post will populate the other pages. You can select certain times of the day to schedule, select schedule next and the post will be automatically scheduled for that time. You can "post now."

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Sometimes content does not autopopulate when creating a post, this has led to content being posted but not fully ready. Uploaded pictures do not always transfer if scheduling for multiple platforms at once. It may appear on the original platform but secondary you must double check to see if it was added.

great to use for simple posting. For more complex posting may be difficult to view posts for all platforms at once.

Buffer is a tool everyone can use, but they are really perfect for small businesses. They offer many flexible plans but their free plan is still good as well as it offer 3 social accounts, 10 scheduled posts, 1 user.

The features I like best about Buffer is:

Buffer was chosen initially as the tool due to its social platform integrations and # of accounts. It is a fine solution for mere publishing, but it doesn't do much more from an efficiency perspective.

If  you're using this platform from an agency perspective, meaning you have multiple clients and multiple internal and external stakeholders, this platform falls short. It lacks in critical areas including: not supporting multiple users, not having an option for client access, and not providing a useful view for routing or reviewing materials. Specifically, the preview function doesn't show an accurate representation of how content will actually look once posted, which is extremely troublesome.

Pricing isn't overly competitive. Buffer is $99/month and caps  at 25 social accounts (not broken up into workspaces, so there is slightly more flexibility) but only allows 6 users and 2,000 social posts. There are better, and cheaper options out there.

We were hopeful to leverage the tool to improve our efficiency. **What do you like best about Buffer?**

I love how intuitive Buffer is. The Chrome extension makes it easy to share content from any site across channels. Within the platform, you can create content and then customize for channels, saving tons of time.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Analytics and insights are lacking. You only get basic post performance, and not comprehensive page analytics. Upgrades are expensive and make it difficult to manage multiple accounts affordably.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am managing multiple social media pages for my business and my clients. The intuitive features have saved me tons of time, allowing me to charge more affordable rates to my clients.
