## Buffer Reviews
  ### 1. Focus on social media marketing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth B. | Social Media Manager, Transportation/Trucking/Railroad, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The booking usage in the application, and the Chrome module, the two of which make for truly easy planning and posting. I additionally truly welcome the by and large 'tone' and 'frame of mind' of the Buffer usage, and friends interchanges. I can get every one of my posts in Buffer toward the start of the week and realize that everything will get posted on schedule and at the ideal hour.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I don't care for that there are picture estimate maximums and that I can just post on Instagram once per day.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Make certain to introduce the application on your iphone too! You can make and timetable substance effectively from your telephone as well. Extraordinary for keeping up numerous stages in a single spot, and simple to utilize and reasonable for private ventures. Let it all out.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am ready to get all my work for the week done on Monday morning and not need to stress over posting physically consistently. I am ready to utilize my time all the more carefully all through the remainder of the week. For the most part, we are streamlining our endeavors to connect with our client base. Making presents on our official online networking accounts is a lot simpler since we utilize Buffer, as opposed to signing into every individual record and making similar posts for various stages. Spares us time and exertion.

  ### 2. Verry annoying, stay away

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zhivko S. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The idea is good, it should save a lot of time in theory.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

It just doen't work, the schedulled posts don't trigger, the feed doesn't update, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Stay away

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I tried it for a few weeks and then gave up on it and moved on with other tools.

  ### 3. A great platform to manage your social networks.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena C. | Administrerende, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

An intuitive and easy-to-use interface, you will learn to handle it faster than other tools that manage social networks. Indefinite free plan, ideal for beginners. Possibility to schedule your posts to save time in your work, in addition to focusing this scheduling on analytics, monitoring, and engagement. You will have the possibility to observe how many times your posts have been retweeted, mentioned, how many times they have been clicked on, and marked as favorites, which will allow you to better understand the customer and offer them what is really of interest in most cases. To conclude, highlight its high performance on both mobile devices and computers.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Unfortunately, the free plan falls short in terms of features if you ultimately make Buffer your application for managing social networks.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Buffer is the simplest and easiest platform to manage your company's social media, track the performance of your content, and manage all your accounts from a single place.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With this platform, the management of all the company's social networks has been improved, and thanks to it, the customer's behavior, especially their needs, can be better understood. You can also obtain information about the areas where your company can improve.

  ### 4. Buffer is great for social scheduling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is intuitive and easy to use and allows me to see all my scheduled tweets/posts at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I dislike that sometimes Buffer rotates my verticle photos when I am scheduling to Twitter.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a very easy tool to teach my interns how to use. In turn, I save a lot of time.

  ### 5. BUFFER Will POST FOR YOU and it's amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer provides a simple way for me to cue up my Instagram posts, find the right Hashtags and get everything saved so all I have to do is post it live that day. I also

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

That you have to have a business account of over 10K followers for it to post for you.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

This is easy to use. You can be up and posting immediately and that was fantastic

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buffer allowed us to take control of our Instagram and make it look professional. It was a mess before because we had no way to plan out what the content would be, and it looked very unprofessional and messy which reflected in loss of leads. We realized this one app made it all easy and essentially streamlined our work load. This gave us the chance to look like the organized company we are and powerfully get the leads we needed.

  ### 6. Very Good Free Software To Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayo O. | PPC Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

For the fact that you can add up to 3 social media platform to post simultaneously

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The number of platforms of social media that can be added was reduced from 5

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Absolutely, everyone can and should use

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to log into different social media to post again, I can just log into one website and posts to many platforms simultaneously

  ### 7. Fantastic product, awesome company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John L. | Thailand editor & managing editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is amazingly good and easy to implement, but the team are even more awesome. The company has an amazing approach to customer satisfaction over profits.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Absolutely nothing. why must I write 40 characters saying nothing?

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

We're always happy to be associated with businesses which treat their customers well. Buffer not only provides a powerful and useful product, but the company operates on a policy of customer satisfaction ahead of profits. A recipe that can only be successful.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are an independent, bootstrapped, news site based in Cambodia. Buffer enables us to save a minimum of four person-hours a day and a ton of stress in distributing our news and feature stories rapidly to social networks.

During our morning news roll our we are publishing one story every two minutes. 'Employing' buffer enables provides our editors with additional time to focus on other things during a stressful 30 minute period.

  ### 8. Easy to use and time saver

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

East to use across the team for multiple platforms

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Analytics could be better and more accurate. Several times the data is different from the platform data.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling on various platforms with various members of the team.

  ### 9. Great free resource

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is a great tool to use for scheduling to multiple platforms quickly & easily. Their free package does a lot of what you need it to.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Buffer had no integrations with Instagram, which doesn't completely eliminate the need to log-in to multiple platforms

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

If you're looking for a simply scheduling tool for free, Buffer is a great choice. Note that it does lack in monitoring tools and Instagram integrations.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Big time saving in that you can do much from one platform as opposed to logging into multiple social platforms.

  ### 10. Buffer makes socialmedia easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan G. | Product & Technology Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The ability to create content and post to multiple social media platforms at the same time. Simplifies sharing of updates and downloads for our team efficiently

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

It would be good if Buffer pointed out certain details regarding which types and sizes of images can be used in posts. For exampe, Instagram prefers images that are at a 3x2 aspect ratio, which is different from a FB post or Tweet. Different sized images will look differently in the final post. If a user is unfamiliar with these details, they could be posting without the image/content looking as professional as it could.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are streamlining our efforts to interact with our user base. Making posts to our official social media accounts is much easier now that we use Buffer, versus logging into each individual account and making the same posts for multiple platforms. Saves us time and effort.

  ### 11. Ecommerce marketing agency with a heavy focus on Social Media marketing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael U. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I appreciate the scheduling implementation in the app, and the Chrome plugin, both of which make for pretty painless scheduling & posting. I also really appreciate the overall 'tone' and 'attitude' of the Buffer implementation, and company communications.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The scheduler can be a little flaky, and unfortunately, it isn't too uncommon to 'lose' a post mid-creation.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Make the effort to learn the platform instead of just winging it and plowing forward, which is what we did initially.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anyone who relies on social media marketing understands the necessity of frequent, regular posts, and if you're doing that across multiple platforms, as most social media marketing efforts do, it quickly adds up to a LOT of posts. If you add in the necessity of having many original posts - as opposed to 'shares' - you're talking a LOT of time & effort. This makes schedulers a must, and in my experience, Buffer offers the best compromise between features, functionality, and ease-of-use.

  ### 12. Amazing product, best social media tool out there.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brea W. | Marketing Specialist, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The ease of use (especially with the Chrome extension!), the sleek UX, the weekly social media report card emails, the customer support ... all of it!

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The only feature I am hoping for is an easier way to repost existing posts to other channels - rather than copy and pasting. Other than that it's great.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Take a tour of the product to learn all the features so you can really get the most of it.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing our social media channels across teams and across time zones. It's helped us organize and post more efficiently!

  ### 13. Amazing tool for cross platform social media management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Veterinary | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The ability of post content on multiple platform from one place.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

It could provide more data and insights.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

If you want content on multiple platforms, this is the tool for you

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a marketing specialist, I had to post content on multiple platform, and with buffer I had one tool which helped me post content.

  ### 14. Great, affordable tool for managing multiple social accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander P. | Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I love the ease of switching between social accounts and quickly customizing content for each channel. I also like that I can use it for free and still get the main functionality that I need (scheduling posts in advance, according to a schedule).

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The free version does limit the number of accounts you can connect, so if you're hoping to use this for all of your social accounts (or on behalf of a client) you'll have to pay. But it's a fair exchange for the functionality you do get, and they can't give everything away for free!

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

The paid version isn't too expensive, and gives you a ton more functionality, so I recommend it if you or your business is a heavy social media user.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing social media content, posting it regularly (and automatically) on a schedule.

  ### 15. Underwhelming

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madison C. | Artist In Residence, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I like being able to schedule posts at different times pretty far into the future for multiple accounts and the ability for multiple users to schedule on our buffer.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Whenever a post was moved or deleted from a time slot and someone created a new post it would autofill into the newly empty post. Also that adding a new post slot for a certain day seemed to permanently add it to that weekday.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

It may work for some folks, could be best for one admin instead of multiple.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was good to be able to see everything everyone was scheduling so that we could fix any staff errors or typos.

  ### 16. Best available option today

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

It is very easy to use, and interact. I have 3 social media accounts linked and it works like a charm, including Instagram that is very restrictive. Both web and app

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

It is quite confusing (from the social media apps) to know what is triggering what. Buffer does not help on clarifying that either.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

If you manage mainstream social media accounts and have a plan (timeline, future posts) Buffer works great.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Social media presence, cheap and professionaly.

  ### 17. Easy Social Media Scheduling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

It's very simple to use. The layout is great and it's very easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

It often has issues with posting, but does nothing to remedy the situation. Also, I have had to reconnect my accounts multiple times.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Do not add too many accounts at once

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue of having to manually post each time on social media. Also, since you can't post on Instagram from a computer, it makes everything a lot easier.

  ### 18. Save time of a marketing manager for social media posts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Schedule social media posts at the best times according to audience even when we are sleeping...

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Seriously I didnt find any cons in Buffer.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Simple to use, Easy to understand and smooth UI

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Social media page management and post scheduling and analytics.

  ### 19. Not quite hootsuite, but good for simple needs!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The automation of social media posts, very simple interface that's user friendly, even for new users.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Automation isn't quite perfect yet, and the placement of the "Share Now" button is a little too close to the close button when using the editor.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not have to rush or skip posts on days where I may be out of the office.

  ### 20. Buffer Makes Life Easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lena S. | Temporary Marketing Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I like that there is an app, so I can check and edit things on my phone and post manually if I need to. I can get all my posts in Buffer at the beginning of the week and know that everything will get posted on time and at the optimal hour.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I don't like that there are picture size maximums and that I can only post on Instagram once a day.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Use it! It's really easy to use and does everything you could possibly need it to do. The app is easy to navigate and helps keep me organized on the go. I have recommended Buffer to multiple people and they all love it. It makes the like of a social media marketer much easier!!

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to get all my work for the week done on Monday morning and not have to worry about posting manually every day. I am able to use my time more wisely throughout the rest of the week.

  ### 21. Awesome for automation of social media posts

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

It’s a greasy way to have things you create in advance post at chosen and higher traffic times - streamlines your day

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Had some issues with cross posting on more than one platform - not frequent but still a thing

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving needing to be a slave to social media in order to stay top of mind with my clients

  ### 22. Buffer is useful for zoho, web mobile.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer is used at zoho in web mobile application, it also used in Facebook and Twitter.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

No dislikes as of now because it is appearing very day.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Recommended to web mobile users.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using to update the mobile web access.

  ### 23. Time Saver! 🙌🏼

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan A. | Administrative Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I like that I can sit down and schedule out posts for the week in one sitting.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

You need to purchase a subscription to have access to schedule more.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m solving the problem of not having time to post to social.

  ### 24. Was my best friend for over a year

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy F. | Social Media Marketing Coordinator, Consumer Electronics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I was very excited when Buffer got an extension for Chrome. This made posting and blogging and re-sharing a breeze. Also, I was sure to download the mobile Buffer app for Android and to my surprise the app preformed beautifully.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I did dislike how some days it felt like either the extension was not working well or I would have to sort of babysit the scheduled feed to make sure it posted. This was not often but sometimes this was an issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Always contact the support team! There should be a little 'chat bot' when you log in ready to get you speaking with a real human. I did love that they have real humans ready to communicate with you. They have very fast responses as well, seldom did I want more than one day for a response.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using the Buffer tool and Buffer Chrome extension to blog, re-blog, post and share content that either I myself created or our company was given or someone else's articles or blogs.

  ### 25. Great for social media marketing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer makes it extremely easy to connect all of my company’s social media outlets and post to them all at once instead of having to waste time logging in to each one separately.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I dislike how the pricing option has changed for multiple platforms and how it is now broken up instead of one set price for all.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is saving me time with keeping up with my company’s social media and making it easier to increase visibility of the shared content.

  ### 26. Buffer Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2017

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I love that you can schedule posts for many different social media channels. You can only use one of each channels but it offers options to have more for a price.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Just that you can't post directly to Instagram, but that really is more of an issue with Instagram.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

I think it's great for Twitter and Facebook, especially if you are sharing links.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning and scheduling social media posts. It's great to write out a week's post and be able to schedule when to post them.

  ### 27. I recommend Buffer to a lot of people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather T. | Marketing Director-Part Time, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Because it's great for small businesses, the free option is terrific for most, the paid versions very affordable, I like the interface, very easy to use, glitches less then Hootsuite

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I honestly can't think of anything, the few times I've had issues, the support staff was super helpful

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes prescheduling posts easier, I like the fact I can share on article I am reading easily just by hitting the browser button and sending it into my queue.

  ### 28. Clean, concise and easy platform for lots of content!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I love how you can schedule, manage, edit and optimize content on so many different social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It's a very simple, clear and concise platform and I think it is the most visually appealing and useable out of the many different scheduling platforms. I like that you can really easily edit and alter the same post, even if it's going to different platforms. Fun and great to also calculate results and analytics, and see which posts performed better than others.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I wish there were more features for engaging with your audience or auto replies. I also wish there was a tab for first comment, as many brands schedule first comment with preset hashtags and information for their followers.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buffer streamlines content, keeps consistency across platforms, and is a great way to keep track of content and your calendar to see when everything is scheduled. It's a super easy platform to use and has enough features that you're able to feel confident in your scheduling and what you're sharing with your audience. The analytics are also super useful!

  ### 29. Buffer makes it easy to manage and post your content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anabel C. | Community, Customer Relationship and Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The ability to schedule in multiple platforms. Adding content like links and photos are incredibly easy as well. Being able to schedule multiple posts over several social media sites is a godsend.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I found that there were several times where my content wouldn’t post at all. I didn’t discover this unti I looked at the social page and noticed myself, or logged in to look at my queue. There should be more urgency to alert a client if there is an issue posting their content.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, it sure makes social media easy to deal with, and in a very economical, easy-to-understand way for the user. Many other tools are much more complex than they need to be. The benefits to anyone being able to login to buffer and instantly know how to operate the software is worth its weight in gold.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsten J. | Marketing Associate, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The timeline for posting is very clean and easy to use. The content stream from different topics has saved a huge amount of time searching for articles to post.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

It is more expensive than the program that we were using before. It is extremely affordable if there is only one person using, but the business account gets more pricey. The Instagram posting has gotten better in the past year, but still is a little hard.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

This does save time in your week, and is a very clean and easy to use program.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We only have to sit down once a week and put everything in one place. Cross posting is effortless. Being able to review someones work before it is posted has been a huge benefit.

  ### 37. Great for Nonprofits

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

This is an incredible and easy to use social media scheduling software with a brilliant 50% discount for nonprofits. I find onboarding staff onto new software difficult. However, this was not the case with buffer. Buffer has great user experience and I wouldn't change

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Buffer is constantly making updates and any sight complaints I have had have been fixed. However, pricing above the first plan gets very expensive. This is not something we would need to upgrade on but for other users needing more it would get very expensive

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling content for various platforms all in one place

  ### 38. Free tool to simplify multiple social media accounts post scheduling

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I would guess that it's a Instagram issue, but it's really stupid to manually submit the Instagram posts on the phone. I'd love if Buffer find a way around this.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Schedule posts to LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, at the same time, for free.

  ### 39. If you need to schedule posts to social media

I’m able to schedule posts to social media for my nonprofit with relative ease.

  ### 41. Good platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I liked that the content was automatically loaded before the update.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The newest update is hard to understand.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

The newest update made the platform more difficult to use as our content is no longer uploaded onto the tool. When I reached out to Buffer they did not respond offering any help to fix my issue.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have over 30 social posts across 3 platforms a day so it makes it easier to schedule and keep organized.

  ### 42. Buffer is a HUGE TIME SAVER

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana M. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I love the consistency of posts throughout my social networks. I'm able to post close to the same thing in all of my social networks I really love the scheduling feature, so that I can schedule all my posts for the week in one day and then be free to just interact with clients.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I can't think of anything that I don't like about it. It's a great program and it's been a pleasure to use it!

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Give it a try with their free program for a while. You'll be very pleased with the ease of use.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know if I'd call them business problems, but it just makes things a lot easier for social media planning.

  ### 43. Amazing UX

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Very easy to use. Me and my team scheudles all our social media posts going out from FB and Twitter using Buffer.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

For running a small enterprise you'd need to get into a paid tier

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling social media posts far out in the future. Managing social media calendar.

  ### 44. Buffer is Easy To Use and Makes Me More Productive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura G. | Cofounder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

The thing I like best about Buffer is that I can initiate a social media post from the webpage of the content I'm currently reading. This distinguishes Buffer from other platforms like Hootsuite. My second favorite thing is the ability to schedule social media postings across platforms. And since I manage multiple accounts, I like the ease of scheduling everything from one dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Buffer was AWESOME until Facebook created the rule about original images only and Twitter disallowed scheduling the same tweet across multiple accounts. I wasn't a spammer -- I just managed multiple accounts with a similar focus. And the Facebook image thing is proving a nightmare since some unsophisticated sites don't have the right image showing up automatically.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Be sure to install the app on your iphone as well! You can create and schedule content easily from your phone too.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping up with content posting on social media is time consuming. Buffer lets you easily create and schedule content while you are reading relevant information about your industry.

  ### 45. Buffer is a decent service!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

I enjoy that there are multiple social media platforms that I can use through this platform. They are easy to connect to and manage. I really lik that they offer a free membership that you can essentially stay with forever. However, as you grow you will find you do need the additional services. The good thing is that there are lots of upgrade options that range in price.e

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I was having a lot of difficulty with automatic publishing. When I requested additional assistance I was pretty much told to figure it out myself (it was said professionally but not very helpful...what's the point of 'contact support' if they don't actually assist you). The pricing to upgrade also jumps drastically for the different packages. if there was just one think in another package you needed it can increase your fees a drastic amount.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Buffer seems to be a product for more advanced social media managers. This is perfect if you know exactly what you are doing and need little support! Buffer provides multiple features and lots of upgrade options so you can choose the right plan for you. However, if you know you are the type to reach out to support a lot I suggest you reconsider as the support is slow to respond and has not been very helpful.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using Buffer as a social media organizer. Where I can manage what's going on in all platforms in one place. I was also using this to manage my posts and scheduling of posts. Therefore, I would say that my main business solutions I was trying to achieve through using this program were; organization and planning when it comes specificall to social media.

  ### 46. Buffer for Twitter & LinkedIn

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Scheduling and retweeting. Mobile and desktop access.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

The article recommendation feature went away

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

It's OK but I really miss the article referral/share function

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I watch social 24/7, but it's nice to know I don't have to.

  ### 47. Scheduling and more!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina G. | Writer and Podcast Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

They've added the ability to schedule video content on social channels. The analytics for each piece of content and the ability to easily tweak and reshare for evergreen content is extremely helpful.
For accounts with up to 8 channels, the price is extremely affordable.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Wish it had the ability to schedule IG stories. I see this as something they will hopefully add down the road.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Love the ability to schedule and see the calendar of content. Support is excellent and there are tons of videos online to help walk you through how to use it.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling content across multiple accounts and channels. Extremely affordable for my small business clients.

  ### 48. Useful and convenient option for automatic updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

It is fairly easy to set up, the updates can be set for all the media. You can also set different times for the same post for different media.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

You can onlu schedule ten updates on a free plan. When you change scheduled updates to the new post material, the other posts don't push forward. When you change schedule, it creates a mess.
The hushtags and other info has to be retained in other places, you have to cut and paste it every time.
Platforms such as FB and Instagram require separate texts, because the limits are too different.
On the FB it actually says "posted by Buffer".

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

Go with paid version, it is not much, but flexibility is much greater - multiple accounts on the same platform, unlimited number of updates, customer support.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides scheduled social media updates when there is no new material or no manpower to do that.

  ### 49. Great for Instagram Scheduling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott W. | Director of Digital Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Because of the way Instagram is set-up, there aren't many options when it comes to scheduling. Luckily, Buffer offers a great solution to pre-schedule photos (and video) to Instagram, and then posts them or sends a push notification to your phone to manually post.
I like that you can also edit a post for each individual social network. So, instead of crafting multiple different posts for each channel, you can create one post, and then specialize it for each (adding different hastags or network-specific language e.g. retweet vs share).

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

Buffer is best use to manage a single brand. The limited number of profile connections mean you can't easily manage multiple brands. Additionally, when you begin a new post, the app automatically selects all connected accounts. Though these can be deselected, the default can lead to accidental cross postings or other issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Buffer:**

If you find yourself working on evenings or weekends trying to keep up your brand's Instagram account, then Buffer can free up some additional time for you. It also helps if you want to have a team working on an Instagram profile (such as a photographer, copywriter, and editor).

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The visually aligned brands we represent often need multiple IG posts per day or on days we are out of the office. Buffer allows us to schedule Instagram posts during normal work hours and have them posted at a future time.

  ### 50. Very easy to control social media accounts!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Buffer?**

Buffer makes it really easy to manage numerous social media accounts, which is helpful for businesses trying to grow.

**What do you dislike about Buffer?**

I wish that the free version allowed users to schedule more than 10 posts in advance. Small companies don't always have the budget to upgrade to the paid version, and only being able to schedule 10 posts isn't ideal.

**What problems is Buffer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to establish a stronger social media presence without any extra manpower. The primary benefit is scheduling posts during times when I know that our customers are online.
