Budgyt is so much better than my bulky multi company, multi department Excel spreadsheet. Great that we can upload detailed actual GL data for users to see. Awesome that we easily see prior year monthly actuals, and budget on the data sheet for a gut check. The formulas and excel linking files work like a charm. Implementation was very smooth and haven't needed to contact customer support yet. You can tell this product was designed by a CFO, and is easy enough to use by a non-financial manager! Tracking the changes is very important especially if you give entity/cost center owners the ability to input their own data or if you have multiple Finance personnel editing information. The payroll features are so very helpful and you can create as many fields as you need to calculate the payroll correctly and then assign these fields to the respective employees such as: FICA, bonuses, health benefits based on which group the employees has elected, wellness benefits, etc. It is so easy to slice and dice the information even if you are working with multiple entities and you can easily export to Excel. Overall, Budgyt took all of those troublesome spreadsheets for each entity and cost center and condensed it into an easy way to input, track and view the information. This tool is a game changer! **What do you dislike about Budgyt?** There is nothing I don't dislike about this tool. **Recommendations to others considering Budgyt:** Pay attention to how easy it is to input personnel and the payroll formulas because that's usually 70% of the data. **What problems is Budgyt solving and how is that benefiting you?** The budgeting process has never been easier because Budgyt has everything you need. I would cringe when budget season came up because of the Excel files that were previously used with these long formulas and, god forbid, if you wanted to add a new cost center, entity, etc. Now, I don't have to worry about any of these points of frustration and can rest assured that the formulas work, the changes are tracked, the budget versions are available, and the numbers make sense. Budgyt has cut our budgeting process in half, which has more than paid for itself. ### 14. It saves the Finance Team a lot of time answering questions. It replaced our time-consuming internal monthly financial reports for each department. **What do you dislike about Budgyt?** Though the functionality is available in Budgyt, I have not yet taken the time to automate the interface between our ERP (MicroSoft Dynamics GP) and Budgyt. They are able to customize the data they see (Actuals, Budget, Projection, Prior Year, etc.) and then drill down into the detail that supports those amounts. We have multiple companies and multiple departements. it is extremely helpful jumping back and forth and making comarisons. We switched from outdated forecaster. The old software was not user friendly and didnt allow for easy comparisons **What do you dislike about Budgyt?** I dont like the report output. We have to make edits for a more user friendly report (for those interested in hard copy or PDF). It would be nice if the reports could be customize to generate at a touch of a button.
