What I like most is the simplicity and the focus on privacy. BudgetHub does not try to connect to bank accounts or collect unnecessary data. You enter your finances manually, which at first sounds old-school, but actually gives you full control and awareness of where your money goes.
The dashboard is extremely clear and well structured. I can see my budgets, expenses and savings goals at a glance without feeling overwhelmed. It feels like a modern digital version of a household book, but much more visual and motivating.
Another big plus is that it is developed in Switzerland and hosted on encrypted infrastructure. You really feel that data protection and quality were priorities when building this app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because BudgetHub does not use bank synchronization, you have to enter your transactions manually. For users who expect a fully automated banking app, this might feel like extra work at the beginning.
However, after a few weeks of use, I realized that this manual entry is actually what creates awareness and helps you change spending behavior. Still, an optional import or automation feature in the future could make onboarding even easier for some users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
