What do you like best about Buddy?

I was looking to move from my previous solution of using Bitbucket Pipelines and Gitlab CI/CD for various projects I work on. Having a UI to work with rather than using YAML files puts my mind at ease about setting up CI/CD processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buddy?

Nothing in the current version. When I last used buddy, I found the UI to be a bit confusing; I have been using it a lot since December 2022, and this version checks all the boxes for being a good CI/CD solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Buddy?

I've been using them since they were called Springloops. The deployments are faster than anywhere else. I've been using their Free plan for my personal projects and the premium one for work. Always good and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buddy?

The fact that they disable free accounts if you don't log in for a certain amount of time. Sometimes the email goes to the boss and they ignore it. It should detect if there are commits or deployments, not just logins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Buddy?

Buddy dramatically improves the speed and reliability of our deployments. Now that we have removed any git or build process from our web servers, Our deployments have become far more secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Support is very slow to respond, which leads to a frustrating experience. Fortunately, over several years of using Buddy multiple times daily, we've only ever needed to contact support once, and that was an issue caused by us, not by the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Buddy?

The different logics' you may add per deployment, integrated git or pull from github, gitlabs and deploy to server. I love the error logging section for people like me that have issues finding why my apps get stalled during deployment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Buddy is super easy to use. I really like how Buddy is easy and quick to configure, and keeping relatively simple deployments that don't have a ton of services really straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buddy?

When deployments require multiple services to get updated, Buddy is not great at getting complex CI/CD pipelines working. If you're working with a large set of services that need to update in tandem with a monorepo or anything similar, I don't see Buddy being a great solution for that.
