What do you like best about bswift?

For the value, Bswift provides good HRIS services for our employees without being overly complex. The site is easy to maneuver, and some of the recent site enhancements (plan comparison tools, Ask Emma) are allowing our employees to make the best choices when it comes to selecting their benefits. What do you dislike about bswift?

There are a few flaws with the data files that are sent from Bswift to our vendors that cause delays in benefit set ups. We are working through these flaws, but they do remain an annoyance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering bswift:

Good value. They can do a lot of the little things well. They are learning and growing which is making them more appealing (ACA regulations/forms, comp/benefits statements) that is allowing them to be more attractive as a total HRIS System. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is bswift solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bswift allows us to better communicate our benefit platform with all employees (including office, professional and manufacturing). We now have an 1-stop shop where any employee and their spouse can go to, to find any and all benefit information which alleviates strain on our HR department. The positive side to this is that we are seeing better plan management (lower claims costs, higher primary care utilization, lower large claims) due to the fact that employees are more informed, and are being better consumers of health care. What do you like best about bswift?

I like the design and easy navigation; I like the "ecommerce" feel to it form the user experience. It's nice to be bale to have that option, for the user to select their benefits and immediately see the cost per paycheck in the "shopping cart".

What do you dislike about bswift?

it's too easy for users to lock their accounts, and administrators need to reset passwords.

sometimes it's hard for users to find something because it's in the middle of the page instead of at the top or easy to find but that can be adjusted, so it's not bswift's fault. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about bswift?

The system is easy to use and looks nice and clean and user-friendly for employees. Employees rarely have questions about the system while working their way through enrollments. This saves us a lot of time and energy - especially with an HR group of just 2! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about bswift?

Some of the administration tools are hard to use. For example, the reports are difficult to understand and I often need to have someone from the administering company help me with the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about bswift?

I currently use bswift to build data files for the Healthcare industry. Most of the time they can provide file templates to make setup easier. Also they have a very helpful group of employee to assist you in building files if you do happen to run into issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about bswift?

Implementation of benefits administration exceeded our expectations. The team included a strong project leader with a deep knowledge of benefits and Microsoft tools. The software would be very appropriate to a smaller company with a standard menu of benefits (no options) and no unusual employment situations. A great feature was the dashboard to measure annual enrollment activity on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about bswift?

The bswift team struggled to understand our complex benefits structure. The team included employees who needed to develop customer service skills, and we could not get new personnel assigned when we made the request. The software could not be configured to handle our employee transfers and our various negotiated benefits at certain facilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering bswift:

The software has great potential but, ultimately, we could not get it fully functional in our complex benefits structure after more than three years. bswift has some excellent project managers and employees with a strong benefits foundation. However, there were some client-facing employees who needed to develop customer service skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is bswift solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to eliminate a paper-based annual enrollment process, automate the eligibility files to various carriers, and utilize this software for employee self service. Unfortunately we had too many misses over more than three years. Transmission of files to some vendors were successful each week, and other files had catastrophic failures. We had to monitor each change on every file to every vendor to confirm it was successful, or to manually do updates if the file was not successful. We added a lot of verbiage to the enrollment screens, and few employees used the tool as it was meant to be used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
