## BrowserStack Reviews
 ### 1. Steep Learning Curve, Hard to Navigate

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris H. | Senior Art Director & Designer

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

Didn't get a chance to use it.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

I didn't really understand how to use or integrate BrowserStack into any of my projects. The subscription was only good for a year, and I never got a chance to actually use it. I thought it would be useful in developing a personal website, but I wasn't able to use any of the benefits or features before my trial ended. The initial setup was hard. I think better documentation and granting free access while in the GitHub program would have made it easier.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

n/a

 ### 2. Not worth it

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary J. | DevEx Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

Device type availability is broad and more updated than some offerings, but still slow with new major OS versions

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

Uptime is pretty darn bad. Our test suite would regularly encounter errors with uptime availability that would drive %failure rates higher, sometimes topping a 10% failure rate all due to browserstack issues.
Support is incredibly unhelpful and slow to resolve issues. It was a large part of my job when we used browserstack just to keep on them to resolve things.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. We ultimately got rid of it and have not looked back.

 ### 3. Multi-Device Access, but Customer Support Needs Major Improvement

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manjunath N. | Tech Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

different device availability across android and ios

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

Customer support is became worst in recent days

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its really disappointing nowadays in terms of solving any issues faced by us

 ### 4. Was not living to the required use

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2025

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

previously it was good but now more options available in the market

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

have to include more options and live device variations

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to test our software based on various device platforms also to troubleshoot customer issues

 ### 5. For Web and mobile testing, too unwieldy

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Administrator, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

Initially, BrowserStack was effectively the standard for web and mobile testing. They give true tools with low latency and many features, such as biometrics and sim card functions. Chat customer support was not commendable, and responded with unrelated information.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

However, my own BrowserStack experience was turning bad. At first I professed against liking nothing, and soon found it didnt deliver the excellence promised. But it is a pale comparison with those of the competition in fact, even its very first advertised bells.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrowserStack says that its problem-solves not having to buy real devices for testing, but the experience is far from smooth. The tool underperforms. But do they live up to the convenience advertized? I find myself asking. The convenience, in fact, turns out to be a nuisance that affects the whole process.

 ### 6. Unreliable Experience with BrowserStack

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cleveland C. | Quality Control Inspector, Recreational Facilities and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

What i observed is BrowserStack looks like a dream ticket for multi-browser testing at first. The reality is very different. Switches across devices or browsers and dev tools looks good, but the experience is lackluster.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

The user experience is marred by frequent lagginess in browsers/devices, which may be due to connection issues. In countries like Brazil, thats a major problem. They also contain inconsistencies occasioned by differences between dev tools (Chrome and Safari). For instance, in some iOS browsers, the requests are un-blockable. This slows down the testing process.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In fact, BrowserStack doesnt live up to its promise to solve the problem of testing on multiple devices. Compromised Accuracy On account of how laggy their performance is and the inconsistencies in Dev tools, such purported advantages come at a price.

 ### 7. A Critical Look at BrowserStacks Claims

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa S. | Sales Worker Supervisor, Military, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

The variety of devices, for testing on BrowserStack is not good. There are performance issues and delays during usage it does not provide the opportunity to test on real devices, which is crucial for obtaining accurate results. Im not impressed by the features provided by the platform.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

In terms of pricing it leans towards the side compared to its competitors. It would be advantageous if API testing support was included to simplify the testing process. BrowserStack is a noncomprehensive platform for website and application testing.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When it comes to front end development targeting devices using BrowserStack is not ideal. The absence of a tool for BrowserStack makes it difficult to make CSS adjustments on the go and inspect elements as it heavily relies on browser developer tools.

 ### 8. Global testing with drawbacks

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maegan L. | Security Officer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

In the past, multidevice testing was a clumsy circus act. Different emulators, unending cables, and my phone makes teh circuit around the room like a hurled shot put. Now, at few clicks, testing on real devices from anywhere in the world.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

Here comes the major thorn, the occasional hiccup with flaky network connections. Their support team is a dream though, always there to sort things out with a smile.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forget crossed fingers and praying my app doesn't fall apart on some oddball browser version in Uzbekistan. Through Browserstack, I test on thousands of devices and browsers. And with that much testing, my app is glowing everywhere. And I can nab bugs in users' hands before they strike avoiding much frustration.

 ### 9. My Testing Nightmare Turned Dream with BrowserStack

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juneddy S. | Admissions Officer, Maritime, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

What i like about it is BrowserStack throws 20,000+ devices and browsers at my app. Finding issues before real users ever do this for me. Its like having a global QA team at my fingertips. It is saving me tons of time.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

Setting up used to be a bit techy, but their new onboarding wizard makes it a breeze. Now, Im testing across the globe in minutes, not hours. So in this way it is all good to go for me.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrowserStack catches bugs for me hidden in even the remotest browser corners. This means happy users, smooth launches, and fewer late nights fixing fires. It lets me build apps without the fear of browser chaos.

 ### 10. The poor cloud service that comes with expensive price

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

I tried implementing browserstack for testing and integrated with jira in my project, still facing some lagging issues and not worthy to use it. After having this many number of features it's not working properly.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

I felt lagging in each point of testing, for lagging only most of the test cases failed miserably. In return it was a double effort for us.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We tried to ease our testing and ease the job for the shake of automating over clould. For lagging only we failed miserably and report was so ugly with all failed cases.

 ### 11. Very bad experience

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

I didn't like anything, since i created my account, for over 1 hour trying to test my website on iphone device, and it shows error high traffic try again later

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

Website overall is unlepful, since i created my account, for over 1 hour trying to test my website on iphone device, and it shows error high traffic try again later

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For over 1 hour trying to test a website, and it says error high traffic try again later

 ### 12. I like that i can use safari without buying a macbook.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** zinx 1. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2023

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

BrowserStack is a game-changer for web testing. Its comprehensive browser and device coverage, user-friendly interface, real device testing, collaborative features, and exceptional customer support make it an indispensable tool for web developers. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

Unfortunately, the free version of BrowserStack often falls short on availability, frequently failing to connect to an emulator. This limitation can hinder productivity and negatively impact the testing process.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

testing on safari browser

 ### 13. Vulnerable to High Traffic

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Islam R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2023

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

The interface is modern and intuitive, especially the devices page.

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

I tried over five combinations of different OSes and devices and always got a message indicating that the platform was under heavy traffic and couldn't launch the requested device. I even tried several hours later, and still the same.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My purpose was to test my clients' websites against old versions of main web browsers to ensure the maximum compatibility possible.

 ### 14. Expensive and bad

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2020

**What do you like best about BrowserStack?**

Actually nothing ........................

**What do you dislike about BrowserStack?**

I think it's the most expensive product in its field, that alone is no problem, as long as the product is also the best, but in fact, I think it's the worst.
I took the 'freelancer pack' - 100 minutes for $20, it worked okay when testing but you don't get to do a video or screenshot with this plan (WHY?) but after I finished testing and closed the tab, it continued counting minutes, so I lost maybe half of my so expensive minutes on nothing.
Reaching to the support didn't help. they kept arguing with me and sending usage reports, claimed I was actually lying.
Short research would have saved me all this trouble, there are a few much cheaper and much better services.

**What problems is BrowserStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing pages on different browsers from variant locations
