I have used quite some scraping tools, all of which have their own merits. Where browse.ai shines is however in the easy and no-code way to build custom scrapers on any website.

It not only provides money and time savings but also allows for spontaneity and flexibility by not having to brief any developer and being able to do adaptations yourself on the fly.

They also provided great support when I needed, were very responsive to my requests and didn't hesitate to jump on calls to help me with the proper setup and fix issues.

That is how SaaS should work, not only easy and well documented BUT setup the business model in such a way that it allows for hands-on support when needed.

I understand the complexity and dynamic of such a tool. It's own nature makes it so that it may need more maintenance than other tools.

While I am well aware of it, others may not be. Also, there should be alternatives provided whenever something breaks or is temporarily unstable, such as

- a more basic scraper, like when your windows computer shuts down and you have the "safe mode" where you can't do much but what you can do just works

- a marketplace for manual scraping / data cleaning, as not all data scraping can be perfectly automated. this marketplace should have vetted professionals so that you can expect a certain quality standard and not be at the mercy of a wild west service providers/freelancers ( just like electronic store has vetted local partners for client in-house service ) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am a UIPath user, and choose Browse.AI to retrieve structured information from different websites with low coding and low maintenance.

For me, the primary benefits are;

1) No need to program selectors, and update them, to retrieve information from predefined URLs. This is quite time-consuming in UIPath.

2) Great REST API connections make it easy for me to use the information captured in a workflow - or post it into a database. Also provides solid documentation for this.

3) Helpful support: Ardy and his colleagues are very helpful with technical questions - and help me solve technical issues. Also gave me lots of free credits to be able to build a solution, and test it properly, before management approval.

There's nothing to dislike about it really, it appears a really solid piece of software. it's very simple to set up and use. we have already had some scrape tools but setting it up takes a lot of time and understanding of how it works actually. Browse is much easier.
