CA PPM is a comprehensive solution that can be overwhelming. And because you can do it all, there is a lot you can do/need to do. So therefor it requires understanding of project portfolio management and cannot be compared with a project scheduling tool or a replacement of excel. Where excel stops CA PPM starts.
