When I convey the idea to the relevant unit or person, if the evaluator does not like the idea, they can reject the proposal, but can only write a comment as a reason for rejection. I think it would be better if the admin could enter the rejection reasons into the system with certain templates and if these templates were presented to the evaluator as a list. Bright Idea was challenging to manage 2 years ago, it can be quite complex and with not much flexibility on the visual side of the challenges. Nevertheless, what I have seen during the last year is a reason to believe in the product. They have been adapting quickly to clients' needs, the back end is constantly changing to make the experience more simple and intuitive. Yes, I still feel we are in the middle of changes when using the platform, but the UX has improved a lot during the last year. That paired with the level of client service that we received from Bright Idea, is enough reason for us to recommend the product and keep it as our idea management system. The poor flexibility for the visual construction of the home of the challenges (design, colors, letters, pictures, videos). I do not enjoy how the export of data from the platform works, it is difficult to find what export is the one containing what you need. What do you dislike about Brightidea Innovation Management? This isn't a dislike, but more of a request - I wish that the analytics were deeper. We have solved the problem of too many administrative and overhead tasks for our twice-annual innovation sprint. We have saved approximately 40 hours in work for each innovation sprint. Additionally, we have been delighted to discover that we have a secondary use for BrightIdea as well! We have moved to SAFe Agile and are utilizing BrightIdea for our Accelerator Week every program increment. This has been an unexpected and fantastic additional return on our ROI. It would be really nice if you could have multiple people working in the space at the same time. Allows quick and easy access for posting ideas from around the shop. Allows visibility and automatic delegation to subject matter experts in that area. Lacking in customizability for the command center and reports. Action Item views are set in one aspect and can not be changed.
