"Essential for Interview Training and Hiring Team Alignment"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I love that BrightHire records interviews, whether on Zoom or in person, and lets us easily populate scorecards directly from Zoom, incorporating stars and flags. This functionality really helps us identify where competencies are showing up and what signals the team is getting, enhancing alignment by highlighting these areas in each interview. The use of stars and flags provides insight into what is significant to each interviewer, allowing us to concentrate on these areas in the initial recruiter screens. I also appreciate that hiring managers can populate scorecards and follow questions without needing to toggle between screens. Additionally, the initial setup of BrightHire for our team was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

Recently, some interview recordings have been getting lost, requiring outreach to support to retrieve them, which slows things down as new hiring managers often want to rewatch certain parts of interviews. I'd also like to see a more robust training program instead of just a playlist. It currently works in tandem with other tools like ModernLoop for interviewer training and Notion for housing internal interview guides. A shadow program or more comprehensive interviewer training within the tool would be great. Additionally, sharing data around high-risk questions with explicit indications of where they came up would be valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Brighthire Captures Conversations Well and Surfaces Valuable Follow-Ups and Risk Signals"
4/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I have liked that it captures the conversations well and infers follow ups and closing risks based on conversations. I am also enjoying seeing the evolution of the Fraud signals through the platform as that is crucial to hiring in 2026 and beyond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

The market is starting to become commoditized in a way that Brighthire has been able to remain at the top of the game the past year but with native tools in Greenhouse and others moving forward, it will need to refine its pricing model to stay competitive OR offer something that no one else can do. "Less Interview Admin, More Human Insight"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

BrightHire lets me be fully present with candidates instead of splitting my attention between the conversation and my notes. Having the key moments captured and easy to revisit creates better debriefs, sharper decisions, and a more human interview experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

The main drawback is that adding BrightHire isn’t consistent across interviews, especially when candidates enter the process from different sources. It creates extra steps and makes a simple task feel more manual than it should. A more standardized workflow would make the tool easier to use reliably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Improved Recruitment Management with BrightHire"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I particularly love the real-time note-taking feature of BrightHire. It allows me to be fully engaged in the discussion without having to take notes, which saves time. It also greatly helps in preparing for the next steps in recruitment. Additionally, the ability to make transcriptions ensures that nothing from the discussion is lost. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

I find that when there are more than two people in a meeting, it can skew the data. Languages too, sometimes French can be more difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Insights Explorer Enables In-Depth Analysis and More Present Interviews"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I love using the Insights Explorer for in-depth analysis. Recruiters also love that they can stay fully present during interviews without having to take notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

I sometimes find that support can be slow to respond. I’ve also heard from recruiters that their hiring managers occasionally run into issues when conducting interviews, whether on desktop or mobile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Interview Insights That Elevate Our Hiring Process"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

BrightHire gives me insight into our interviews like I've never experienced before. As the Talent leader, I can easily grab information about the candidate and support interviewers on best practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

There are several screen pop ups as you connect to Zoom and getting interviewers to turn it on during onsite interviews isn't always seamless but these are small issues that we are working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Amazing Recruiting Tool That Prevents Errors and Back-and-Forth"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I’ve been recruiting since the days when all I had was paper and pen. Even as we moved into a digital world with computer notes and remote capability, errors or forgotten details still happened. This helps prevent that back-and-forth and catches me when I slip, so to speak. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

Only thing I dislike is when it doesn't join properly - or the candidate opts out- otherwise it is an amazing tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Interview Quality and Efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

BrightHire has been very valuable for our team, particularly because of its AI intelligence. It helps us stay focused on the conversation instead of manual note-taking, which improves both interviewer focus and candidate experience. It also reduces manual work through automated notes and summaries, saving time and improving consistency in feedback. The ATS integrations make it easy to embed into our existing workflows, and its flexibility for customization allows us to tailor the platform to our specific needs and hiring processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

I see clear opportunities for improvement in metrics and reporting, especially around how the Interviewer Quality Score is defined. More clarity on the criteria behind the overall score would make the insights more meaningful and actionable. Greater flexibility to tailor metrics and reporting to specific team needs would also be a strong improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Authentic Candidate Conversations Without Manual Note-Taking"
5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I appreciate the experience of being able to authentically focus on the candidate and what they are sharing, what natural follow-up questions I have, and not experiencing a lag in communication due to the need of manual notetaking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

There have been very few instances where a candidate call back does not get captured in the notetaking experience and I am unaware of this until it is 'too late.' Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"BrightHire Simplifies Interview Process but Needs Smoother Recordings"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BrightHire?

I like that BrightHire simplifies the workflow for interviewers. As an operations person, I really appreciate their chatbot and how easy it is to solve problems yourself through the chatbot online. The chatbot is really good at digging into the data and helping you find different things you're looking for. I've used it a lot to help interviewers find the recordings for their interviews, especially when there is an issue with sending the summary to their email inbox. It allows interviewers to focus on what matters most in their conversations with candidates and saves time by recording the transcript and providing a summary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightHire?

It seems like the recordings don't always go as smoothly as they should. There have been a handful of interviewers that reach out to me saying that they're missing their AI summary after an interview concludes. So that's been frustrating. And I've also heard feedback that the autofill on the scorecards isn't always accurate, and it puts answers in the wrong boxes, not necessarily in the boxes of the question that was asked. During the integration process, the handoff from one implementation manager to our Customer Success Manager was a bit rocky because our implementation manager was leaving BrightHire, and the transition felt rushed. The first Customer Success Manager we had wasn't very personable, and we had to submit a few complaints to get a new one, but we love our new CSM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
