## BrightHire Reviews
 ### 1. BrightHire Enables Active Listening and More Thoughtful, Evidence-Based Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily S. | Senior Talent Acquisition Partner , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

BrightHire shifted interviewing from note taking to active listening. It allows interviewers to focus on understanding the candidate in the moment, ask better follow up questions, and then write more thoughtful, evidence based feedback afterward.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

BrightHire should make you a better interviewer, not a lazier one. Use it to free yourself from note taking so you can actively listen and ask better follow up questions. Then use the recording and transcript to support thoughtful, evidence based feedback, not replace it.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem it's solving
Interviewers miss important details because they're busy taking notes.
Feedback is often based on memory instead of evidence.
Debriefs become subjective because everyone remembers the interview differently.

New interviewers struggle with note taking and evaluating candidates.
Recruiters spend time chasing incomplete or low quality feedback.

How it benefits you (as a recruiter)
You get higher quality, more detailed interview feedback.
Debriefs are more evidence based and less driven by gut feel.
You can coach interviewers using real interview examples.
You spend less time reminding people to submit quality notes.
You can review interviews yourself if there's conflicting feedback.
It helps onboard new interviewers much faster.

 ### 2. Structured STAR Interviews With Clear Team Alignment and Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley M. | Director, People and Talent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

The structured interview framework enforcement is combined with team alignment visibility. We use it to ensure STAR methodology is applied across every interview while also measuring candidates and panelists against our leadership principles. The automatic notes and shareable candidate highlights mean your hiring team is calibrated on what you actually heard against our values, not individual interpretations. It's the only tool that gives me visibility into whether our interview quality and cultural fit assessment are holding at the bar we set.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I can't get an email synopsis of coaching insights without manually going through each panelist's feedback. It would be far more useful to automatically surface those insights and have them feed directly into the Train module so coaching happens at scale, not as a manual project after every round. Right now the insights exist but they're scattered across individual profiles.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHire eliminates manual note-taking and streamlines scorecard completion in Greenhouse. The automatic transcription and AI-generated notes mean interviewers don't have to choose between listening and documenting. The one-click scorecard completion saves significant time on the back-end, which matters when you're running a lean People function. More importantly, it removes friction from the feedback loop so insights actually get captured consistently. The time savings frees us up to focus on what matters: enforcing structured methodology, coaching panelists through the Train module, and maintaining interview quality at scale rather than chasing paperwork.

 ### 3. Intuitive and Efficient, Enhances Structured Hiring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caroline A. | Senior Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I think BrightHire is easy to use and it saves meaningful time. As a recruiter, I find the visibility and insight into interviews useful. It supports a data-backed structured hiring process. I'm also starting to explore the BrightHire MCP in Claude, and there are some interesting use cases there. I've noticed that it creates greater efficiency in speed to completing tasks, and feedback is useful for me.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

An area in need of improvement is speaker attribution accuracy. There have been times where we've seen the platform struggle to differentiate between speakers during interviews, raising some concerns about a gap or bias in the audio recognition models.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BrightHire to record and transcribe interviews, which creates greater efficiency by providing visibility and insights, speeding up feedback, and supporting a data-backed structured hiring process.

 ### 4. Revolutionized Our Interview Process with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason K. | Director, Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I find BrightHire to be an incredible tool for many reasons. It brings visibility into the interview process, shining light on the questions interviewers ask, which helps eliminate the 'black box' feeling in recruitment. This understanding facilitates better calibration and profile alignment in our recruitment cycle. The tool's plan feature allows us to conduct structured interviews with competency-based, behavioral, and situational questions tailored to role outcomes. I appreciate the ease of use, especially for recording and transcribing phone screens, which has been incredibly helpful. The advanced insights we gain from interviews across teams and departments are valuable for our business. The interviewing tool itself is incredibly helpful, and its adoption across our organization is high. We've seen a significant improvement in scorecard adoption and adherence. The structured feedback from the training feature is fantastic, and the insights, including reports, compensation trends, and skills coverage, are highly informative. The setup process was straightforward and streamlined, thanks to the incredible support from our CSM, making it easy to implement across the company.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

One thing that we piloted was the screen feature. It was a little challenging to get set up. But once it was set up, it did help automate a lot across some of our more high volume roles. We only did a pilot with this, and I feel like we need some more time digging in to determine true value there, but I can see a lot of potential.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHire gives us visibility and insights into our recruitment process, making it no longer a black box. It drives structured interviews and profile alignment. The tool's ease of use, recording features, and advanced insights have transformed the way we interview and evaluate candidates.

 ### 5. Essential for Interview Training and Hiring Team Alignment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marissa R.

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I love that BrightHire records interviews, whether on Zoom or in person, and lets us easily populate scorecards directly from Zoom, incorporating stars and flags. This functionality really helps us identify where competencies are showing up and what signals the team is getting, enhancing alignment by highlighting these areas in each interview. The use of stars and flags provides insight into what is significant to each interviewer, allowing us to concentrate on these areas in the initial recruiter screens. I also appreciate that hiring managers can populate scorecards and follow questions without needing to toggle between screens. Additionally, the initial setup of BrightHire for our team was very easy.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

Recently, some interview recordings have been getting lost, requiring outreach to support to retrieve them, which slows things down as new hiring managers often want to rewatch certain parts of interviews. I'd also like to see a more robust training program instead of just a playlist. It currently works in tandem with other tools like ModernLoop for interviewer training and Notion for housing internal interview guides. A shadow program or more comprehensive interviewer training within the tool would be great. Additionally, sharing data around high-risk questions with explicit indications of where they came up would be valuable.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHire solves training and hiring team alignment issues for us. It's essential for interview outcome alignment and preparation. Recording interviews and using scorecards with stars and flags improve recruiter screens and hiring decisions without toggling between screens.

 ### 6. Brighthire Captures Conversations Well and Surfaces Valuable Follow-Ups and Risk Signals

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I have liked that it captures the conversations well and infers follow ups and closing risks based on conversations. I am also enjoying seeing the evolution of the Fraud signals through the platform as that is crucial to hiring in 2026 and beyond.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

The market is starting to become commoditized in a way that Brighthire has been able to remain at the top of the game the past year but with native tools in Greenhouse and others moving forward, it will need to refine its pricing model to stay competitive OR offer something that no one else can do.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, it helps us make sure our interviews are well structured and that our team follows the appropriate protocols during the interview process. It’s also great for collecting a sample of what someone says, so we don’t have to rely only on memory.

 ### 7. Less Interview Admin, More Human Insight

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

BrightHire lets me be fully present with candidates instead of splitting my attention between the conversation and my notes. Having the key moments captured and easy to revisit creates better debriefs, sharper decisions, and a more human interview experience.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

The main drawback is that adding BrightHire isn’t consistent across interviews, especially when candidates enter the process from different sources. It creates extra steps and makes a simple task feel more manual than it should. A more standardized workflow would make the tool easier to use reliably.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHire’s automated scorecard filling is a huge time-saver and removes a lot of the admin work after interviews. The main opportunity is improving the workflow so interviewers are prompted to add their own feedback and key takeaways before the scorecard is submitted. That would preserve the efficiency without losing the human judgment behind the hiring decision.

 ### 8. Unmatched Interview Insights That Elevate Our Hiring Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer H. | Director, Global Talent Acquisition, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

BrightHire gives me insight into our interviews like I've never experienced before. As the Talent leader, I can easily grab information about the candidate and support interviewers on best practices.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

There are several screen pop ups as you connect to Zoom and getting interviewers to turn it on during onsite interviews isn't always seamless but these are small issues that we are working on.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has improved the turn around time on scorecard submissions and helped recruiters engage with hiring teams at a higher, more strategic level as they are able to listen to what matters most in interviews throughout the process.

 ### 9. A Game-Changer for Interview Quality and Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ari C. | People Ops Transformation, Enablement & Programs Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

BrightHire has been very valuable for our team, particularly because of its AI intelligence. It helps us stay focused on the conversation instead of manual note-taking, which improves both interviewer focus and candidate experience. It also reduces manual work through automated notes and summaries, saving time and improving consistency in feedback. The ATS integrations make it easy to embed into our existing workflows, and its flexibility for customization allows us to tailor the platform to our specific needs and hiring processes.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I see clear opportunities for improvement in metrics and reporting, especially around how the Interviewer Quality Score is defined. More clarity on the criteria behind the overall score would make the insights more meaningful and actionable. Greater flexibility to tailor metrics and reporting to specific team needs would also be a strong improvement.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHire is solving the problem of manual, time-consuming interview admin that can take focus away from the candidate conversation. By automating note-taking, summaries, and structured feedback, it reduces administrative burden, saves time for recruiters and interviewers, and allows teams to be more present during interviews. This has a positive impact on candidate experience, since conversations feel more natural and engaging when interviewers are focused on listening rather than capturing every detail manually. It also brings added benefits such as more consistent interview documentation, stronger collaboration with hiring teams, better integration with ATS workflows, and more structured insights to support faster and higher-quality hiring decisions.

 ### 10. Enhanced Interview Focus with Room for Integration Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I love the transcription aspect of BrightHire as it allows me to concentrate on the conversation within the interview instead of taking perfect notes. I also like the ability to review the captured pieces later if I've forgotten something important. The question-generating feature is great because it provides questions that are directly relevant to the job description and the role's specific responsibilities, ensuring that I'm asking questions based on what the person will actually be doing. I find the statistics valuable, especially for coaching fellow interviewers. The statistics such as on-time starts and the ratio of interviewer-to-candidate speaking time are helpful for creating a warm candidate experience. Setting up the trial of BrightHire was fairly easy, and although setting it up for the entire team required more work and time than I initially thought, all the steps themselves were fairly easy.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I do wish that BrightHire had better integrations with Google Meet since that is the software that my company uses. I also wish that BrightHire would show what time interviewers start their interview versus just whether they were on time or not. Knowing specifics would be more helpful. Also, setting up BrightHire for the entire team did require a bit more work than I initially thought it would be, since there are a lot of steps that did eat up a large chunk of my bandwidth.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHire lets me focus on the interview conversation itself which creates a way better candidate experience. It captures important details I can revisit later, ensuring I'm getting accurate information. It also integrates beautifully with Greenhouse and helps prevent me from getting carpal tunnel!

 ### 11. User-Friendly, Accurate, and Continually Improving

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I find BrightHire incredibly user-friendly, and our hiring teams love it! Its notetaking is pretty darn accurate, and they're constantly improving the product by unlocking new functionality. I also appreciate its emerging functionality in helping us combat candidate fraud, which is one of the most significant problems Talent Acquisition teams face these days. When it's easy to use and more accurate, more teams will use it, which means we get richer interviewer feedback more promptly, enabling us to make selection and disposition decisions faster than ever.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

The phone/VOIP-based interviews are slightly more challenging because candidate cell phones often detect potential spam, which requires them to call back the recruiter's direct phone number. It's a bit more manual to add the recording and transcription functionality to a call-back, making the process less smooth. Also, while the agentic interviewer is excellent at flagging potential candidate fraud or integrity issues, the same feature isn't yet live for live interviews, and I'd love to see that feature parity happen.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BrightHire to focus on conversations without the distraction of notetaking, and we gain rich insights into candidates by not missing anything that's said in an interview.

 ### 12. Helps in comparing tools and choosing right, but too many reviews can be confusing.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanya R. | Talent Acquisition Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2025

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

One thing I’ve started to appreciate more is how BrightHire creates a searchable archive of interviews. Over time, it becomes a really valuable knowledge base—you can go back and spot patterns across candidates or even reuse strong responses as benchmarks for future hiring.

Another underrated aspect is the candidate experience. Because interviews are more structured and focused, conversations tend to feel more organized and relevant, which reflects well on the company and avoids the usual repetitive questioning candidates often face.

I also like how it supports better alignment across teams. Everyone evaluates candidates using the same context and evidence, which reduces back-and-forth and helps teams reach decisions faster without miscommunication.

Finally, the integrations with other hiring tools make it easier to plug BrightHire into existing workflows rather than forcing teams to adapt to something completely new. That lowers friction and makes adoption much smoother.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

One gap is deeper analytics. While it captures and organizes interviews nicely, it could go further in turning that data into actionable insights—like identifying which interview questions actually predict strong hires or flagging patterns in hiring decisions over time.

Another area is customization. Teams with very specific or complex hiring workflows might find the structure a bit rigid. More flexibility in tailoring interview templates, scorecards, and evaluation criteria would make it more adaptable across different roles and industries.

There’s also room to improve onboarding and training. For new users, especially interviewers who aren’t very tech-savvy, the learning curve can feel a bit steep. More guided setup, in-product tips, or best-practice prompts could help teams get value faster.

Finally, pricing transparency and scalability could be clearer. For smaller teams or startups, it’s not always obvious what they’ll get at each tier or how costs scale as hiring volume grows, which can make adoption feel like a bigger commitment than necessary.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHire solves the problem of missing important details in interviews. It benefits me by giving clear insights and helping make better hiring decisions.

 ### 13. Empowers Interview Process with Easy Sharing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I use BrightHire to record and review all our interviews at Help Scout. It helps us capture transcripts for review, ensuring we ask all the necessary questions in interviews. I love that it gets our scorecards in faster because they are easier to generate and assists in training new interviewers. I often use the clip feature to share real candidate responses quickly with the team, which aids in providing more context and introducing our team to candidates. The tool is pretty easy to use and offers all the features we need to run a great process.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

There's a lot of features we don't yet use, and a few I'm not sure we need. I'd rather have an MCP where I can do a lot of what they set up in BrightHire right through Claude or ChatGPT. That would certainly make the platform easier to use and to get our team to use more.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BrightHire to record and review interviews, capture transcripts, speed up scorecard submissions, train interviewers, and share interview clips for team context.

 ### 14. A Game-Changer for Equitable and Efficient Interviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divya Bharathi D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I use BrightHire for interview recording and love how it has become an integral part of our Talent Acquisition ecosystem. It allows interviewers to focus on meaningful conversations with candidates while still capturing structured feedback. BrightHire reduces the burden of manual note-taking, keeps interviews structured and consistent through standardized attributes, scorecards, and AI-supported notes, and improves fairness by grounding hiring decisions in documented insights rather than memory or personal bias. It also makes sharing feedback easier and faster, improves candidate experience, and helps us run more efficient, equitable, and high-quality interviews, saving a lot of time for interviewers, recruiters, and TA Ops. I appreciate how easy the initial setup was, and the integration with our ATS and workflows was smooth. We also integrate it with Greenhouse, and it's our first interview recording tool, which we're loving.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

Calling and messaging capability should be enabled globally, as it is currently limited to the US. Expanding this feature across regions, especially in India, where calling and texting is the preferred communication method, would be extremely helpful to improve the candidate experience.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BrightHire to reduce manual note-taking, allowing better focus on candidate conversations. It ensures consistency and fairness in hiring with structured attributes and scorecards, improves feedback sharing speed, and enhances the candidate experience, saving time and elevating interview quality.

 ### 15. Making Interviewing Easier Than Ever!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I also love that BrightHire integrates directly with Greenhouse and zoom. Being able to take notes and easily import them into the scorecard allows me to better focus on the conversation with candidates.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I would love for BrightHire to incorporate some AI grading type notes. It does amazing at recording and transcribing, and I'd like to see them go a step further in analyzing how the candidate performed in the interview!

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHire lets me focus on the content of the interview, digging in and engaging with the candidate instead of furociously typing every word they say in their answers. It's so easy to go back into the platform and watch the recordings which helps so much. In the busy days, there is no possible way to remember everything candidates say and when I'm interviewing a lot it can be hard to remember who said what as well. BrightHire solves this problem!

 ### 16. Efficient Interviews but Needs Reliability Improvements

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bridget S. | Recruiting Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I like how good the notes and transcripts are. The screen tool specifically is very well developed and works well. BrightHire saves us time and increases interview volume and speed.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I am currently at a place where the BrightHire Chrome extension is unreliable and I am constantly overseeing the product, and the screen product is not providing the candidate experience that we are used to. Dual pronged - both of the core products we use aren't at the bar that we expect. I have had to solve the issues with the chrome extension on my own, essentially creating a workflow that bypasses it entirely.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BrightHire to record all interviews and leverage the AI screening tool. It saves us time and increases interview volume and speed.

 ### 17. BrightHire Makes Interviews Seamless with AI-Powered Recording and Summaries

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aayush M. | Data Engineer - L3, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I like most about BrightHire is the way it makes interview seamless and also records features using their in built AI powered functionalities, the way it summarize the feedback of the candidate, we are able to share with the team easily

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

BrightHire need to work on their UI which is bit clunky and also see lot of performance issue or delay after completing a interview session also sometime there is audio syncing issue with the recorded person which can definitely improve

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly for us, it saves lot of time on initial interview round screening and workload. Using AI powered feature, it helps to evaluate any candidate faster, also helps on similar judgement across the organization so that each candidate evaluate in a same way

 ### 18. Seamless Screening with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I find that BrightHire allows us to interview some 'bubble' candidates that we might not have had time to otherwise, and it occasionally rules candidates out before they schedule a recruiter screen. The tool itself is very seamless and easy to use. Our candidates are also having a positive experience with it. BrightHire integrates with our ATS, Ashby, which is convenient.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I would love some additional functionality like a public booking link. The initial setup was quite seamless, I'd rate it a 3.5 out of 10 on the ease scale, where 1 is easy and 10 is difficult.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BrightHire for initial candidate screens, allowing us to interview 'bubble' candidates efficiently and sometimes rule them out before a recruiter screen. It shortens our recruitment process.

 ### 19. Powerful Tool That Lets Us Focus on the Candidate Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eliora D. | Recruitment Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I love that my interviewers and I can concentrate on the interview and the interview experience, rather than transcribing the interview. The tool is so powerful for the candidate experience

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

Nothing that I have found to dislike as of yet!

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brighthire is helping interviewers be better people and more human in the interview - rather than trying to capture every detail that the candidate is describing

 ### 20. Saves Time and Helps Me Write Higher-Quality Reviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

It saves me time and helps me write higher-quality reviews.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

Sometimes the transcription misrepresents candidates' genders / auto assumes its a "he/him".

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t need to take notes during phone screens, so I can stay focused on the conversation. Having a transcript also helps me represent the candidate’s background more accurately, which supports a better overall candidate experience.

 ### 21. AI-Powered Interview Recording with Room for Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sony T. | Recruitment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I really like the AI feature of BrightHire because it saves me a ton of time and allows me to focus on the conversation rather than being distracted by making notes during interviews. The star and flag features are also great as they allow me to mark strong moments or potential concerns about a candidate during interviews.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I recently learned about their Advanced Custom Templates for AI Notes which is very interesting. In terms of improvement areas, I cannot think of anything else, it's all good :)

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BrightHire for updating scorecards quickly and making AI interview notes. The AI feature saves me time and keeps me focused on conversations. I also use the star and flag features to mark key interview moments.

 ### 22. Quicker Scorecards, Less Note-Taking—Great for Training Recruiters

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

Scorecard submittals are much quicker. Saves times for recruiter with note taking. Great for training recruiters and interviewers

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

Brighthire phone calls sometimes show up as spam for candidates. Handful of times call quality was not too great

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quicker scorecard submissions. Accurate data

 ### 23. Easy-to-Use with Helpful AI Notes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

- I like that it integrates well with Greenhouse.
- Prior to Brighthire, I had some interviewers who would hardly provide any notes. Brighthire gives us more detailed notes and the ability to go back and review the recording in the event that we need more clarity.
- The interface is easy to use and pretty intuitive.
- The AI generated notes are useful.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

The reporting/analytics isn't always the most intuitive and helpful to use. Sometimes the recording didn't actually save and there's no way of knowing that until the interview has already concluded. And I didn't take notes because I assumed Brighthire was recording.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brighthire is giving us quality interview notes faster and allowing interviewers to be more engaged during interviews.

 ### 24. Excellent Note-Taking, Analytics, and Coaching Tips with Playback

MCP is helping us getting better data around quality of hire

 ### 25. BrightHR Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sadika a. | Training & Recruitment Specialist, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I really like how easy it is to use. Everything is simple and organised, so I don’t waste time searching for information. It helps me manage things quickly, and it makes my work much smoother.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

Sometimes the system feels a bit slow, especially when switching between different sections. It’s not a big issue, but it would be nice if it worked a little faster.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHR helps me keep all my work-related information in one place, so I don’t have to manage things manually. It saves me time, reduces mistakes, and makes it easier to stay organised. Because everything is clear and easy to track, my daily work feels much smoother and less stressful.

 ### 26. Seamless Setup, Intuitive Use, and Continuous Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason P. | Owner StratTech Consulting

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I've been using BrightHire for about two years as a conversation quality tool, primarily for phone screens, intake sessions with hiring managers, and offer extensions. I initially chose BrightHire after a comprehensive evaluation of eight or nine conversation quality tools and found it to be the best fit for our needs. Setting up BrightHire was incredibly easy, requiring little to no integration, just a simple Chrome extension, which allowed us to launch quickly and scale to over 500 recruiters. I am impressed with its ability to use AI and automation for evaluating calls en masse against a rubric, providing deep insights into recruiter-candidate conversations, and ensuring candidate quality. It's invaluable for capturing conversations, transforming them from tribal to organizational knowledge, preventing redundant conversations, and enhancing the candidate experience while maintaining full documentation. We often use its call recording feature for offer extensions and hiring manager intakes, and I'm currently testing their impressive AI interviewer with tech candidates. BrightHire integrates seamlessly with various software like Infor, GHR, Jobvite CRM, and Lever. The usability of BrightHire is exceptional, with an intuitive interface that is easy for recruiters to use, saving them significant time. I also appreciate their innovative team, who continuously improve the product by releasing new features, making BrightHire significantly better than when I first started using it. Overall, BrightHire enhances recruiter efficiency and candidate experience.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I think a deeper integration into texting within BrightHire would be beneficial.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BrightHire to ensure candidate quality, leveraging AI for call evaluation and capturing conversations for better organizational knowledge. It saves recruiters' time, enhances candidate experience, and prevents repetitive dialogs, allowing seamless transitions between recruiters.

 ### 27. Making recruiter screens and interviews more human

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I use BH daily for my recruiter screens. BrightHire helps me with being more present in the calls and give more human touch to the conversation that just asking ques and taking notes. We use it with our ATS Greenhouse and the integration feels seemless.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I find the summary part quite basic, most of the time you have to choose the traits to be covered in the conversation but it don't have the essence of the conversation.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Bright hire is solving is by saving the time you spent by writing the notes than actually interacting with the candidates. It even help us in our debrief calls to gather notes about interviewers feedback and perspective more clearly. Its amazing

 ### 28. Great Concept, But Customer Support and Implementation Guidance Fell Short

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

The idea behind Brighthire is great. It integrated with our ATS and would have been a time saver for interview transcripts.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

Honestly, their customer service was lacking. We had questions about setup and implementation that we did not answer clearly, and it felt like we were left to just 'figure it out' on our own.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In theory, it should have saved us time in finishing up interview notes.

 ### 29. Convenient Recording Storage, But Lacks Additional Value

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

Honestly, the only part I found helpful was having recordings in one place. It’s convenient in theory, but that’s about where the benefits stopped for me.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

The platform felt clunky and unintuitive. I constantly had issues with recordings not syncing properly, lag in the interface, and slow load times. It added friction to my workflow instead of saving me time.
The search functionality also isn’t strong, and it never felt seamless to pull insights or revisit specific moments in conversations. Overall, it just didn’t feel like a tool that made interviewing better or easier.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was hoping to use BrightHire to streamline interview note-taking, ensure consistency across hiring panels, and make it easier to revisit conversations. Instead, it often created more work because I couldn’t rely on the platform to perform consistently. I didn’t see meaningful improvements in efficiency or clarity.

 ### 31. LOVE BrightHire!! It is a Game Changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara N. | Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

there are so many things I love about BrightHire. It allows me to focus on the conversation without scrambling to take notes and ensures I don't miss important technical details. It accurately captures industry jargon, even when candidates have accents or tend to ramble, and organizes key takeaways into clear bullet points. I also appreciate how it filters out filler words, keeping the information concise and relevant. Plus, with notes seamlessly integrated into my scorecard, my admin time is drastically reduced. BrightHire has not only made my screening process faster and more accurate but has also helped me become a more effective recruiter.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I wish there were an easier way to learn how to use BrightHire right from the start. While it was straightforward to call candidates and have notes populate the scorecard, figuring out how to automatically fill in the scorecard wasn't as intuitive. I had to discover on my own that I needed to create interview questions for it to work properly. It felt like I had to use the platform through trial and error rather than having a tutorial to guide me.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightHire is solving the problem of time and efficiency in the hiring process. It enables me to complete a thorough screen from call to submittal in just 30 minutes, allowing me to engage with more candidates. It also captures key details with greater accuracy than I could on my own, leading to more comprehensive and precise write--ups for hiring managers. By streamlining the screening process and improving data quality, BrightHire helps recruiters work more efficiently.

BrightHire has been a huge help in my recruiting workflows! It’s an incredible time saver, enabling me to streamline the interview process and focus on engaging more personally with candidates. By capturing all the key information seamlessly, I can ensure nothing gets overlooked, which enhances my overall efficiency. The platform also fosters better calibration and alignment between the hiring manager and the interview team, making collaboration effortless. I highly recommend BrightHire for anyone looking to improve their recruiting efficiency!

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

I’m a big fan of BrightHire and don’t have many specific dislikes, I have noticed a couple of challenges. For our less technical team members, there was a learning curve to using the platform effectively. Additionally, some candidates are still getting used to being recorded, which means I can’t always use BrightHire for every interview. Overall, it’s a great tool, but these factors can occasionally limit its use.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- BrightHire enhances the candidate experience by providing a more personalized and engaging interaction, as recruiters can focus on the conversation rather than note-taking.
- By recording and transcribing interviews, BrightHire helps streamline the feedback process, allowing teams to save time and make more informed hiring decisions.
- The platform enables teams to capture and share insights from interviews, fostering collaboration and alignment between hiring managers and interviewers, which can often be lacking in traditional processes.

 ### 49. The biggest lever to making interviews better and easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan F. | Head of People, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about BrightHire?**

I've been a recruiting leader at multiple startups. BrightHire is *the* tool that pulls interviewing into the 21st century. Our interviewing has become radically better AND easier:

1. It turns interviews from a black box (employee gets sent in, may or may not do a great job, hard to tell absent awful Glassdoor reviews) into something that can be managed: revisited, shared, analyzed, used for training and improvement - whether by the interviewer themselves, or the recruiting team.
2. Because it records and transcribes the interviews, we can focus more on the conversation, can get multiple perspectives on an answer, can replay, search, compare, and do more interviews on any given day.

Our candidates, interviewers, and leaders all are grateful for this unlock. We use it all the time. Implementation was very easy. Support responsive.

**What do you dislike about BrightHire?**

No downsides to having this companion by our side.
The "interview companion" and replay experience work seamlessly with our video conference system and applicant tracking system. The administrator interface and UX can take a little bit of time to figure out, but is improving and most users don't need it.

**What problems is BrightHire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making interviewing better and easier. Radically improving our interviewing and recruiting work.
