Their original promise of hard to get data being made easy to retrieve was not true. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Bright Data? I found the documentation lacking in clear example use cases, which made setting up difficult. Despite using Bright Data to collect e-commerce data, I feel it fails in making the process easier. The scraping browser API, while promising in theory, does not perform well in practice. Over time, the product's performance has degraded significantly, leading to a high error rate. Wasting my time only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Bright Data? I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Bright Data. I was flagged for no reason whatsoever, despite not even having used the service. To make matters worse, a scheduled Google Meet was canceled without any prior notice or explanation. This level of mismanagement and lack of communication is completely unacceptable. If this is how they handle basic coordination, I can’t imagine how they deal with more important matters. Logging in can take days, leaving paying users locked out with zero access. Their customer support is useless—ignoring complaints, offering no real solutions, and showing no urgency. It’s absurd how a company that provides data services can’t even manage a functional login system. This isn’t just frustrating; it’s outright negligence. What I like the best about bright data is their custom proxy solution. And, of course, the speed is better than other proxy providers. But its no longer providing the support as it should be. They signed a contract with me, the limit of contract was that i will spend $3000 every month but i said i want to increase it to $5000.
