## About Dash
Dash is an affordable digital asset management (DAM) tool for ecommerce brands, with pricing starting at $109 per month. It gives marketing and creative teams one clear place to store, organise, and use their brand content. If you’re using Google Drive or Dropbox to manage creative, things get messy fast. Files are hard to find, links break, and teams waste time searching instead of launching work. Dash is built to fix that. With Dash, all your brand assets live in one place — from product photography and campaign creative to influencer content and UGC. You can upload files directly or collect content using upload links, so creators, agencies, and partners can send work without needing access. Once files are in, your team can approve content or leave feedback before it’s used. Dash makes assets easy to find as your library grows. Images are automatically tagged using AI, and you can add your own custom fields like product line, campaign, usage rights, or photographer. That means less digging through folders and more time actually using your creative. When it’s time to launch, Dash helps you move faster. Resize and crop images directly in the platform, download them ready for different marketing channels, or push product images straight into your Shopify listings. Dash also makes sharing simple. Your retail partners need access to your product creative. Rather than dealing with individual requests and WeTransfer files, set up custom branded portals for them. Your retailers can find the assets they need easily, without needing to come through you. Dash helps ecommerce teams to: Store all brand creative in one organised place Collect content from creators and partners without the chaos Find assets quickly using AI tags and custom fields Prepare images for marketing and ecommerce channels Get creative into the hands of your retail partners Share approved assets externally without extra admin Dash includes unlimited users and all features on every plan, so teams don’t have to manage seats or upgrades as they grow. It’s used by ecommerce brands that want less time hunting for files — and more time getting creative work out into the world.

## Dash Reviews
  ### 1. We use Dash for 2 organisations under our group!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber S. | Media and Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Streamlined, aesthetic, super easy to navigate and love the sharing abilities on the platform

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We would love to be able to change thumbnails on the videos, as we have many similar videos with the same footage.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone in the team can use it. We use it now for 2 of our businesses. The upload process is simple, and we love the fact we can share assets through collections - we use this feature ALOT! It solves many problems as we don't use anything else, so everything creative we do as a business, including all branding, goes here. Making it easier for team members to find things and massively reduces the need to ask where to find things, etc.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Amber,

Thank you for your lovely review! Great to hear you've been enjoying Dash so much that you're now using it in two businesses :D

Thanks for your suggestion re: thumbnails too, I'll see what we can do about that.

All the best and thanks again!
Barney

  ### 2. Perfect for small-medium Not For profits (and more too...)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rich T. | International Brand & Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Great set of features, access controls, filtering and processing of assets and team members. So glad to have all our photos and videos safely and securely stored in the cloud and available to send to our internationally-based team immediately. Excellent cost compared to other tools which made it a simple choice to go with Dash. Server uploads are a huge benefit to us which speeds up (and improves reliability) of large uploads

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Misses a few of the more powerful AI tools like facial recognition, speech-to-text transcription but nothing that was a deal-breaker for us. Would be nice to be able to block downloads of certain assets (make them visible to the team but un-downloadable.)

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash solves the problem of making large amounts of assets available to a worldwide-based, remote working team, and having a single-source of each file, rather than a version on each person's computer via OneDrive, two copies on external hard drives and then more copies when sent out to external designers and editors. Now everything is secure, in one place and can be managed by a team member giving access to the right files to people.

As we work with more national teams, connected organisdations, external video editors and designers, Dash is enabling us to centralise our content and share access as far and wide as we need to. Our digital assets including photos, unedited and edited video, brand elements, UGC and promotional material has never been more organised and has saved coutless days of finding content, copying, uploading and downloading from WeTransfer or Google Drive and posting hard drives to video editors. Dash has meant that our internal and external growth hasn't been restricted by getting what we need to the right people.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Thanks for your review Rich! Great to hear how much Dash has helped you and your business :)

We did unfortunately have to remove our facial recognition feature, like so many other businesses have done, due to the complicated and risky legal landscape regarding processing biometric data globally. If we find a way to bring this back in future, we will!

Speech-to-text transcription sounds like a great idea. Would you like to suggest it in our Ideas Hub? I've included a link to this below.

For a read-only view, please do vote and comment on this idea: https://feedback.dash.app/b/8my8jo07/feature-ideas/view-only-permission. The problem with this is that if a user can see an image on their screen, they can screenshot it, so restricting downloads doesn't have as much impact as would be liked. But there are benefits, e.g. restricting downloading of custom/full sizes.

  ### 3. Easy to use and great price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is super easy to use, bringing togtehr all our images in one place with a search feature and relevant tags has reduced the amount of work searching for images. The system was easy to implement and integrate into our daily flows. We so far have over 2k files uplaoded and our now using the system daily to manage images and have started asking suppliers to uplaod directly into the system.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There is nothing to dislike! It's an eveolving system so still imporving and will continue to get better with each update.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a ton of imges all saved in different folders, that weren't searchable and with no version control it. The amrketing team spend a lot of time searching and sending images to customers and sales. Dash allows us to ahve all image sin one place. tagged and categoriesd and create self serev portals for customers and sales and remoevs the need for WeTransfer and file sharing services.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for your lovely review! Really happy to hear you had no problems getting Dash set up and integrated into your daily work.

If you have any feedback in the future, do let us know :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 4. A simple Dam that packs a lot of punch

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Byran F. | Senior Video Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Its very intuitive and easy to use. I think end users will find navigating through it a breeze and little to no training will be required.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I think the programme is still a bit buggy and there are a few UX niggles that could be ironed out. Also would love for more customization options.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to easily search for content.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Byran,

Thank you for leaving us a review! Really happy to hear you think you'll be able to get up and going with Dash without training - that's music to our ears :)

Sorry to hear you've experienced some issues. Please do get in touch with us about these, and your feedback on the UX - we're always looking to improve so we'd appreciate your feedback!

All the best,
Barney

  ### 5. Dash is exactly what we were looking for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is scalable so you only pay for what you need. Ironically, the low price was the one thing that gave me pause because the competitors were so much higher. The customer service is friendly and personal and they are great with the set-up process. The free trial period gave us plenty of time to make our final decision. I am very happy with the product and use it almost every day.
It is easy to use and quickly handles its job well, Uploads, searches, and browsing are all smooth.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The only feature missing for me is the ability to sort assets chronologically (the date the photo was taken).

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a photographer for a university, Dash makes sharing images with the people who need them quick and easy. The catalog is easy for users to browse and perform keyword/tag searches. The product has a robust automated tag generation ability which makes the search options even better for users.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Timothy,

Thank you for leaving us a review! This was a lovely thing to come into on a Monday morning :) Really glad you're seeing the value of our pricing plan.

You're be pleased to know you already can sort assets chronologically. You just need to add a date custom field (call it 'Date created' for e.g.). Then when you're in the browse view, select the dropdown on the right-hand side which controls how the assets are sorted - you'll be able to sort by your new date field. Hope that helps!

All the best,
Barney

  ### 6. Easy and Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I have access to any Marketing or Training Material on the click of a button, fast and easy with a number of features that can be used frequintly and comes with great customer support

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There is really no downside because of the ease of implementation and ease of integration

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

That you can find everything you need at one place fast and easy.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks so much for your lovely, positive review! We really appreciate it :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 7. User friendly and straightforward

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Switching to Dash was so smooth and user friendly. In no time we had all our assets organised, easily findable and were rady to share folders with externals.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I would love it if they had an app to find assets quickly on your phone. Easier for social media managers ;)

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding, sharing ans selecting assets quickly for internal and external use.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks so much for your review! Great to hear you switched from Dash smoothly and easily - that's what we like to hear :)

A mobile app is one of our requested features, which we use to help decide what to build next. I'll pop a link to it below, but do feel free to vote and comment on it!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 8. Effortless Image Organization with Dash

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glory O. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is easy to use, keeping all our images in one place with a search feature and helpful tags. The friendly customer service makes setup simple.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There are no big problems with using Dash, but it takes some time to understand the API integration and reporting features.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash provides small marketing teams with tools to easily collect and find all types of assets, helping us work together and stay organized.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Glory,

  ### 9. Amazing platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agustina R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The UX and UI is really throurough. It's intuitive and you don't have to be a tech-savy person to understand how to manage an admin role or simply navigate thorough the assets. The design is clean, simple and not overwhelming like other in the market. A lot of features are customizable to each team/company's needs so that is always great to have. The "public view" features can still have some enhancements, but upon checking the company is releasing updates every week so no doubts this will be very complete in no time. Also. shoutout to the DASH support team for being extra so effective and quick to respond our questions. Very happy with this incorporation into our day-to-day work.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

- I think having to change a sub-folder to be a main folder in order to give it a cover imager and then move it back to be a sub-folder is not effective or intuitive. If the customer support team wouldnt have helped me I was not going to guess. Bare in mind Portals work by sharing specific folders with clients or people outside the company so having custom covers to improve the branding and experience for our clients is crucial.
- You can remove the 'download' option from the Portal accesibility settings, but the user can still right click and hit "Save Video as". This was receantly discovered by a client, who now has access to hundreds of free videos without watermark for which he does not own the license. This is a concern for us now as we use the portal as a catalog, not a free stock platfor for clients to download our assets.
- I would love auto-tag to get smarter. We edit out auto.tags on a daily basis that tag our home photos with the same tags "floor" "wall" "table" and we remove them over and over again as they are releventa. I'd be really good that the platform understands what tags are working for us and which to avoid. Not sure if this is a crazy idea, but here it is!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cnosolidating assets into only 1 platform with proper filters and categorization. The ability to easily share them internally and with our clients by setting different views.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Agustina, thank you so much for your detailed feedback, it is really appreciated :)

It is so great to hear all the ways Dash has helped. Let me answer your dislikes, and if there is anything I've missed please do get in touch with us via the in-app chat and we'll continue to help you.

- Folder cover images - we are planning some significant improvements to the folder browsing experience, which will include subfolder thumbnails. Watch this space!
- Watermarking in portals - this is definitely something we are interested in adding. "View only" was the first step, which solves many of the issues with sharing, but I appreciate tech-savvy visitors can still find ways around it. Please do vote on the watermarking feature in our Ideas Hub! Link below.
- Smart auto-tags. This is also something we are exploring, so keep an eye out on our product updates, and please do vote on the feature here: https://feedback.dash.app/b/8my8jo07/feature-ideas/account-specific-auto-tagging-which-learns-from-our-own-images-and-tags

I hope this helps. If you do have any questions please do get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help :)

  ### 10. In a word: incredible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

When we first started using DASH it made our internal and external workflows so much easier, and helped us speed up our process immensely in moth marketing and product development. It's interface is extremely easy to use by anyone, and the customer service is amazing. I can't imagine us not having something like DASH in our arrenal at this point.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

None that we've encountered so far. It really ticks all of the boxes.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's made it easier for us as a brand to share consistent assets with our customers, and share access internally when videos, images, and brand guidelines are needed.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi John, thanks so much for leaving us a review. I'm really glad Dash is working out so well for you. If there is anything we can do to help further, do get in touch via the in-app chat!

  ### 11. Good experience!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Affordable DAM with a lot of features! Very nice UX and a customer service that really wants to find solutions. They added a new feature that I and other users had requested, and kindly asked me to beta test it - i think this really shows they listen to their customers.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The pay-per-download format feels a bit confusing, I always need to double-check what counts or not as a download.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized media bank for my company.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for leaving us a review! We really appreciate it. I'm glad to hear Dash is working well for you, especially that the recent beta access went down well :)

We are aware of challenges that the download pricing can cause and we are thinking carefully about this to see how we can address these. Rest assured we are listening. Do make sure to review your usage in the account page, as all your download details can be found there. If anything else isn't clear, please do get in touch!

  ### 12. DASH is extremely useful easy to use and the staff is very helpful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faraaz N. | Senior Marketing Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is very easy to use, everything is easy to find and upload. Whenever you are stuck the staff are very helpful and willing to solve any problems you may have. You can also integrate several different software’s and link it directly to dash. Dash is also very straight forward for anyone to use and implement. Because Dash is very organised, we tend to use Dash very frequently and tell our partners as well.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

AI should be a new feature in Dash where it can pick where images or videos could be stored.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the amount of Assets and images we receive, Dash allows us to store them in orgnaised place which we can archive or use. This makes it easy for us and new team members understand and find assets that they may need.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Faraaz,

Thank you for your review! Great to hear how easy you're finding Dash to use :) Really appreciate you taking the time to write this for us.

Your AI suggestion sounds very interesting. Do you mean when you upload an asset, you'd like AI to recommend which folder and/or which tags should be added to it? Do feel free to chat to us about this in-app, we'd love to hear more.

All the best,
Barney

  ### 13. A clean and easy to use DAM. Excellent interface, very stable and fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The speed of use including upload. The simple interface and the ability to brand it nicley.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The expense as there are cheaper solutions. The DASH chat icon that appears when my clients login.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all my clients assets in one place. Making it easier to accsess than simply using folders in the cloud

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hey there!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It’s great to hear that you appreciate Dash’s speed, intuitive interface, and branding options. We’re glad it’s helping you keep client assets organized and accessible.

There currently aren't plans to remove the chat as this is how users can get in touch with our customer support team if they run into issues. Do let us know if you'd like to talk about this in more detail, we'd be grateful to hear more about your feedback!

All the best, and thanks again!
Barney

  ### 14. Robust content management with great features & wonderful customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Navneet K. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has all necessary features to get you started and these are very easy to use, learn and admin. Their set-up barely takes a day or so, and they hand hold you to a large extend. We use the tool dailya nd it has really helped us bring organization to our content. Great customer support. Wonderful free trial that builds confidence. Most importantly, cost effective.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish their product roadmap had more to offer, and that if they could release the features sooner. Their analytics are not their strongest suite.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing collaterals organization
Sharing content for internal and external stakeholders

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Navneet, thanks so much for your review! It is great to hear so many positive experiences around our onboarding, ease of use and support :)

We wish we could release more features sooner too! We do get a lot of requests so we prioritise everything in order to help as many users as possible. All prioritised ideas can be found on our public roadmap at feedback.dash.app/roadmap. If there ever is anything really important to you, do get in touch and we can have a chat in case there are workarounds, or in case we haven't fully understood your request and in fact we should score it higher!

  ### 15. Really impressed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stuart E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Great for visibility of images and vectors. Easy management of users and permissions. Easy upload and management of images. Excellent folder system and continual improvements.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The login is a bit tedious. Automatic login means each time I login I need to write RIVERFORDORGANICFARMERS before it gets to my automatic login. As the administrator and company photographer I use DASH all the time - this gets a bit boring.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we had Dash I had a database of 65000 images, plus graphics. I was the gatekeeper and no-one could find these images without me, though they often tried resulting in sub-standard images being used in customer facing comms. Now each user can see the imges they're selecting without clicking open each one on a database, they are all key word searchable and I can control who sees what. It's great.

**Official Response from Katya Rose:**

> Hi Stuart!

Thank you so much for your review of Dash, we really appreciate your feedback and I'm glad to hear Dash is providing you with so many benefits! 😊

Regarding the login issue, this shouldn't be happening - I'll send you a message now so we can sort this out together (it could be, for example, that you're accessing Dash via the generic login page rather than the one for your Dash specifically).

Thanks,
Katya

  ### 16. Good digital asset management tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has one of the best tagging asset management tool with good integration capabilities

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Mobility functions needs improvement . Reporting takes some time

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking all the digital assets in a single solution

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it :) It is great to hear our integrations and tagging system is working well for you!

Reporting is definitely something we are planning to improve. Please do visit our Ideas Hub and vote/comment on the feature request for it so we can hear exactly what you would like to see (I've added a link below).

  ### 17. Great to manage assets, keep them organised and collaborate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xabier I. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Its smart tagging system makes our assets easy to sort and search through, so we can always find what we need fast.

The organization features keep everything neatly categorized, which is a big help with our workflow. Dash makes sharing and collaborating simple, so everyone can stay on the same page whether we're gearing up for a campaign or refining our marketing content. It’s super easy to share assets across departments and with stakeholders, keeping our messaging consistent.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wonder what more could be done to automate tagging

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time (and ability) to find pictures

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Xabier,

Thanks for your review! Great to hear that Dash has made sharing and collaborating much easier for you.

We're currently looking into that, hopefully should have something more to share soon :)

Cheers,
Barney

  ### 18. Dash has been a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Philanthropy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I am part of a small marketing team within a nonprofit organization, and we were looking for a solution to organize our photos. Dash has met (and exceeded) all of our wildest dreams! We love that it's easy to use/intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and well-organized with the folders and tagging systems; we were able to quickly start uploading and sorting photos. We love that it integrates with Canva and Hootsuite, and that you can easily resize photos. It's affordable and didn't require a contract or long-term commitment. It's easy to share assets both internally and externally. Everyone who uses it raves about it!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I worry about storage space because our photos are large high-resolution files, but I know it's easy to add on more if/when we need it. But that's all - otherwise, it's been a wonderful experience.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with having a lot of beautiful photos that were languishing on a shared drive; it meant we had to click through hundreds or thousands of files to find what we needed, which was frustrating and time-consuming. We were also emailing photos to colleagues upon request, and sometimes the files were too large for email. It made using photos for social media, emails, and our website a slog. Dash is helping us find photos quickly and easily, share them with stakeholders, and get the most out of our archive of professional photography.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for your lovely review! So happy to hear Dash has "met your wildest dreams", what a great thing to hear :)

Totally hear you on the storage space, and if you wanted to chat to our CS team more about that then just get in touch.

Thanks again for such a positive review!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 19. An exciting new tool for our organisation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The platform is very straightforward to implement and colleagues have found the system easy to use. Have had quick responses to any onboarding/setup issues and is hard to beat on cost.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There are a few features I'd love to see integrated in the platform (and they do accept user suggestions) just to add a few more customisations per type of user e.g. restricting some users from making external sharing links. It's hard to fault for the price though.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to make our image database better accessible to our colleagues whilst still maintaining correct usage/permissions etc. Having a self-service platform reduces demand on our team for ad-hoc requests for content.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for leaving us a review! Really appreciate your thoughts and that you've found it easy to get going with :)

Good suggestion with the more customisation re: user types. I've added this to our request board which we use to help decide which features we build next.

Cheers,
Barney

  ### 20. Easy to use archive for all our media content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Easy to use platform, with really helpful level of detail for storing information about our assets. Organisation of files is really clearly laid out, and straghtforward to tailor to our specific needs, allowing colleagues across the organisation access to our library of content. The support team has always been quick to respond and able to resolve any issue or find the answers to any questions about the functionality of the site.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

It would be good to see a function where assets automatically move to the restricted access folder when they expire.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash lets us keep our extensive media content in the one place, and allows us to store according to date, location or project partner. The use of tagging allows us to search through thousands of files for specific content, and the use of notes and descriptions means that all the information we have about each asset is in the one place, making it easy for us to pick and choose what we need without the need to search multiple places for the full story behind each asset.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> HI there,

Thanks very much for your review! We're so happy to hear you're finding Dash easy to use and our support team have been helping you out :)

Good suggestion re: restricted access folders. I've added that to our list of potential new features we may build in the future.

All the best,
Barney

  ### 21. Extremely Intuitive DAM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delasi A. | Digital Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The thing that swayed us compared to the other suppliers we demoed was the ease of use of Dash. Compared to other legacy DAMs, Dash is extremely intuitive. The UI is clean, fresh and easy to navigate. Implementation is also made very simple with the excellent customer support provided. Their onboarding team is very knowledgeable and helpful. I'd highly recommend Dash to any business that wants to centralise the management and storage of its digital assets. I'm confident that the range of features provided will fit most use cases. Dash integrates easily with many common tools so I'm sure it'll become an essential part of your toolkit proving its use daily.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We're still early in our journey so nothing major to report here.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is helping us centralise all our digital assets so we know what we have before commissioning new projects. Additionally, it makes the sharing of assets both internally and with external partners.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Delasi,

Thanks very much for your review! That means an awful lot to hear you say that, so glad you saw how Dash stood apart from all those other old-fashioned, enterprise-focused DAMs. We can't wait to see how you use Dash once you're further into your journey. And if there's anything you need help with, or if you have any feedback on how Dash can improve, just let us know :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 22. Saves us countless hours of digging through Dropbox.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has been a gamechanger for our marketing assets! We went from traversing through Dropbox folders, which was an incredibly clunky and time consuming experience, to finally having a library of all of our assets that's actually searchable, sortable, and easy to use. It is SO NICE to be able to see big thumbnails (!!) and tag assets. The filtering and search feature is outstanding. We also love being able to download different versions of the file for social, print, etc. Dash has really check all of our boxes, and we're beyond thrilled with it so far.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The price is a tad high, and the auto tagging could be improved a bit. In an ideal world, it would learn what we're manually tagging (very industry-specific) and start applying those auto tags ;) Overall though, we don't have much to complain about.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to quickly see, filter, and sort through all of our assets is a gamechanger. Instead of wasting time traversing through Dropbox folders, we're able to quickly and easily see all of our assets in one view.

  ### 23. Good vale and filled with the features needed.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan E. | Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I looked at a range of DAM platforms before going with Dash but the costs were crazy and most had a fairly steep learning curve. Dash is great value for money, simple to use and easy to explain to a client management team. Monthly payments rather than an annual subscription help when dealing with SME's. The product is really well received by clients and has made briefing for new shoots a breeze. I'd recommend it to anyone!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

None - I suppose bigger platforms might have a bit more functionality but a lot of the time they are functions that are only relevant for bigger companies.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all our Assets in one place and meaning sharing them is much easier.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Thanks so much for your review Jonathan! We really appreciate your feedback, and it's great to hear you're finding Dash a good value and super affordable!

If you have any feedback in the future for how we can improve, just let us know :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 24. A well-functioning DAM system with employees who want to help you

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iben P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like the best about Dash is that it is so easy to work with, once you get the hang of it. If you don't understand, you can always ask an employee for help. It's easy to send a collection to whoever you want.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

A downside of dash is that when you click on a folder, you do not see the subfolders in seperate squares, just like you see the folders when you are on the homepage. And the same for the sub-sub-folders of the sub-folders.

If you make a collection, a colleague won't be able to see the collection you made. That makes it less easy to send the same photos to everyone, because everyono would have to make a collection in their own account.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is a system that is easy to use for everbody. You can send links of the photo, which means you don't have to pay extra for apps like WeTransfer. Our last image bank (which we still use because dash isn't finished yet) is outdated and not clear to use.

  ### 25. A blissful digital asset management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The platform is very easy to use and implement. Various features are available, allowing users to choose what works best for them. There is adequate and timely customer support, and new ideas from users are always welcomed. The user interface is easy to use, and processes are straightforward, which makes integration easier.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There are not as many options to aid in exporting assets out of Dash as there are with importing into Dash.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far, Dash has solved the following problems:
- Controlled access to our assets.
- Ease of access to our assets. No more having to leave staff searching multiple folders in various drives.
- Improvement of our brand consistency.
- Saves time,
- Allows better collaboration with in-house teams.
- Quality control of our assets

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

What a great review! "A blissful digital asset management tool" - this was lovely to read, thank you so much! Great to hear you're finding value with Dash.

On your suggestion about exporting assets, we'd love to hear more! What sort of thing did you have in mind? Feel free to chat to us about your idea in the app and we'll add it to our feature ideas list

Thanks again!

All the best,
Barney

  ### 26. Great platform and support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Booking digital asset management often involves a great deal of effort. The DASH team is always easy to reach and open to all suggestions and feature requests. Price/performance is very good compared to other providers. The entry costs are a barrier with many providers and the sister product "Asset Bank". DASH is easy to test and can be used almost out-of-the-box.
I also like the fact that it can be used in WordPress. Transferring the assets and tags from our website references also worked very well.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The fact that it can be used out-of-the-box can be a barrier if you have special requirements for a customised solution. But then there is the sister product Asset Bank, which you can easily switch to.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With thousands assets, the search can contain a large number of results, which makes it difficult to get an overview. For me, there are still too few options for grouping the search results. The support team is taking this seriously and will inform me about the developers' roadmap so that I know what they want to implement to improve this.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, glad to hear you're finding Dash good value for money!

We've designed Dash so you can get up and running with it fast. But everyone can get a free onboarding call with our team! And if you have any specific requirements we can't meet yet, do let us know - we use customer feedback to decide what we build next :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 27. Dash is great!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cole S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What we like about Dash is the immense amount of features, which includes every feature they have, at every price point. The features they offer are easy to understand and easy to get people up to speed on. Some of the features (i.e. the portals) give you the ability to explore some very interesting use cases. Customer support has also been great. Getting all of our content into Dash was also a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The auto-tagging is not great, and the overall search features they have to offer leave something to be desired. Making things easy to find for people who do not use Dash as often requires a little bit of leg work.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves content distribution to some of our different stakeholders through our sales/marketing teams and we make some portals available through different methods like links at events and our app.

Our most unique use case is our app. We have external links within the our app that brings a user to our portal. There we have all of our content we see fit for that user available to them, making it easy for them to print, download, or save that content. This also gives us complete control to update these documents and change the experience without having to go through the pain of updating our app.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Cole,

Thank you so much for this review! Really appreciate the detail - both the positive and the constructive feedback. It's great to hear how easy you've found it using Dash and we'd love to hear more about how portals means you can explore some interesting use cases!

Appreciate the feedback on auto-tagging. You can adjust the accuracy of auto-tagging in the 'admin' section. Searching for assets should be working better for you, so one of our customer success team will be in touch to help out.

All the best,
Barney

  ### 28. Very easy to use and great for a team collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Simple interface
Organization
Tags/descriptions for images
Sizing option for creative for social
Help is very good if you need it, someone is always available to assist

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Pricing teirs can be a learning curve and you can go over your plan easily

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A place where my whole team can come to view/download/upload our digital assets for the brands we work for. It is so simple and easy that even a few on the team who aren't so great with this type of thing, are getting on very well using it.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Alex, thanks so much for your review :) it is great to see a nice long list of things you like about Dash!

If you have any feedback about how we can make managing your usage easier, please do get in touch as we'd love to hear it. We have recently rolled out a brand new account page that gives detailed charts of your storage and download usage, as well as providing forecasts for future spend based on your usage, so hopefully that will help!

  ### 29. Dash has been a game changer for our brand

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lewis E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

How it easy it is to use, implement and manage across the organisation. Also the customer support is great, someone is always on hand right away to help out.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There's not much that I dislike about Dash but if I had to point out one thing it would be the upload speed. Can sometimes take a little while to upload assets.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash has allowed us to have greater brand consistency while also driving home the importance of strong branding across the organisation. On top of this it is saving myself and the design team a lot of valuable time.

  ### 30. Asset Management and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie R. | Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Using Dash has changed the way we collaborate in our team. It's so easy to upload and update assets and it means that all the team have access to the most up to date content for Sales and Marketing support.

We use the platform daily and the tag management system makes it so easy to find historic or useful assets.

I don't know how we'd stay on top of content without Dash.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

You get as much out as you put in. You need to have a good naming and tagging system to get the most out of the platform.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps keep our team on the same page, using the most up to date and relevant assets and product photography.
The platform is also a much better solution for image storage than other equivalents like dropbox or google drive, as the tagging and searching feature is seamless.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Jamie,

Hope you're well! Thank you for this review, it means a lot. We're really happy to hear you're finding Dash so helpful! If you have anything we can help you with (including advice on your naming and tagging system), just let us know :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 31. Affordable DAMS solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is easy to use and was about half the cost of most of the competitors I evaluated when investigated DAMS . My colleagues love it and I got quite a bit of kudos out of getting it rolled out. We already used Canva and the free integration is massive bonus a competitor quoted us a one-off $200 fee for this feature.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There aren't really any major downsides to DASH. Integration with Umbraco our CMS would be useful but the features it has.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our photography was hard to search and filed away on sharepoint. The automatic tagging and granular controls allow us to control who sees what.

It also allows us to create portals of assets for external agencies and provide upload links.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hello,

Thanks for your review! It's great to read, really appreciate your feedback. Ah glad to hear you're enjoying our free Canva integration too, take that competitor ;)

Thanks for your suggestion re: integrating with Umbraco. I've added to our feature request board which we use to decide what to build next - feel free to vote on it! I've added a link below

All the best,
Barney

  ### 32. East to use and meets all of our needs. Great asset management system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The uploading process is super easy and everything you need is in one place, i.e. tags, description can all be done in one place.
Easy to give people access and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

It would be good for portals to have the collection features as we have a large customer base that would like access. This feature is the most important for us and our customers when exporting.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One location for all company assets and everyone in the business can easily access.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for your review! Having all your images and videos in a single place makes life so much easier right? :)

Good suggestion re: portals and collections. I've added that as a product feature request, do feel free to comment on and vote on it! We use this to help decide what we build next

Thanks again! All the best,
Barney

  ### 33. A simple and easy way to manage out assets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayla S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The simplicity of the workspace, its very easy to find what you need. It looks clean and modern!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Theres a few things that dont work with our systems, but that would mean making it fully customisable to fit with every client you have.. We are working with Dash to try and make things run a bit more smoothly, though chatting with Customer Support or Charlie!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It would be great to link Dash with Shopify to do direct uploads, I think Will from out Trad/Marketing team is in touch with Dash about this.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Thanks very much for your review Ayla! Really appreciate this :)

Good suggestion, we're definitely looking for ways to improve our Shopify integration. We'll keep you posted!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 34. Great tool for DAMs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ezra V. | Stage Production Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I like the tagging and searchability function! It's really helpful for organizing a lot of my photo content that's cross-functional and cross-departmental. I use it frequently to stay on top of content collection.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Tagging bulk uploads can take a bit of time.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Dash to pull all of our photos into one space instead of searching for them in 100's of different folders and drives. The caregivers at our animal sanctuary take so many great photos, and we're able to keep all of them in one place using Dash.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Ezra,

Thank you for your review! Great to hear you're using Dash to stay on top of your content collection :)

Appreciate your feedback on tagging bulk uploads. We'd be more than happy to hear more about that - if you like, feel free to chat to us or pop your idea onto our feedback board (linked below) where other users can vote on it, too.

Thanks again! All the best,

  ### 36. Simple interface

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Simple inteface makes it simple to introduce new users to some of the more basic features.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Some of the slightly more advanced features are sometimes difficult to find or frustrating to use because they've been pushed back in favour of more regularly used features.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of our brand image library is stored in Dash, and this makes it easier for stakeholder who aren't savvy with cloud storage or design software to see and share assets.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for your review :) We really appreciate you taking the time. I'm glad to hear that Dash has helped your colleagues find the assets they need faster and easier.

I'm not sure which advanced features you are referring to, but if you do have feedback on how we are presenting features we'd love to hear it! Just get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be very happy to discuss :)

  ### 37. Dash changed my life (almost)

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There is nothing I dislike about Dash. I'm a big fan.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One stop shop and one source of truth when it comes to digital assets. We deal with many brands and thousands of assets in all formats. Once we set it up, Dash made it easy to maintain and use.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Dean,

Wow that a lovely review, thank you so much! Your feedback means an awful lot to us. I'll share this with the team, it'll make their day!

Best wishes,

  ### 38. New user, already in love

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is so simple to use and I was up and running in minutes. The support from Dash has also been great. They offer free onboarding and file migration, and have been helpful every step of the way. Dash also costs half what my existing DAM solution costs, with just as many (and even a few extra) features.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Since I've got up and running with Dash, there have been several updates I stumbled upon in the settings, but that didn't get any sort of annoucement or anything. I'd like to see more notifications about updates and changes.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is giving small marketing teams the tools they need aggregate and easliy find all of the assets, no matter the filetype.

  ### 39. Dash is the best thing that happened to our team last year. Wonderful tool and easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mezin H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I love Dash as it's very user-friendly and fast. The integrated AI that recognizes things is amazing and makes my searches more efficient. Also, creating a view link for external people is very easy.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The maximum number of images you can select for the view link is 500.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash centralizes everything and makes it easy for both internal and external users to access our assets. Also, for external communication to editors etc, very easy to add link with images.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Mezin,

Wow what a lovely review, thank you! The best thing to happen to your team last year - what an accolade, we're blushing :)

Thanks for the suggestion! I've passed that along to our development team

All the best,
Barney

  ### 41. Great Solution for Asset Management Digitally & Collaboratively

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasanth G. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

1. Effortless Deployment & easy Integration as you directly insert assets into your website & can connect with other suite tools.
2. Excellent Colloboration & real-time sync - People from different geographies in our team upload assets/material in a quick time & also comments their feedback which is then visible to everyone.
3. Customer Support - Their Support was very quick to respond & always asks for feedback to improve.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

1. Not functioing well the tagging & the accessibility features because I've manually update the access everytime I upload a new file/asset.
2. Complex UI - Took a descent time for our team to get a hand on the tool as the automation, API integration &reporting requires more time to understand.
3. Pricing is little high compared to other tools in the market. For small startups it can be a challenge.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our product requires constant upgrade and the essentails assets, tutorials videos are mandatory to support its understanding. With Dash we are able to colloboratively maintain the assets which helps everyone including the users to stay updated.

  ### 42. Great Product & Great Customer Support/Onboarding

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Our team's collaboration experience has been revolutionized since we started using Dash. The platform has made it incredibly effortless to upload and update assets, ensuring that everyone on the team has access to the latest creative files.

We are still rolling out the system to all teams, but the feedback we've had already has been fantastic, we should reached out to DASH sooner.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There's not too much to dislike if I am honest, it's a great product, you have to be on top of tagging, and permissions, but once you have those correct, it's hard for it to descend into chaos unlike some of DASH's competitors.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our team aligned and informed with the latest and most relevant assets and photography is crucial, and this platform makes it easy. It's a superior image storage solution compared to equivalents like Dropbox or SharePoint, thanks to its seamless tagging and searching feature.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for your review! Really appreciate it. It feels so good to be free of Dropbox and SharePoint right? :D If there's anything else we can help you with, or you have any feedback on how Dash can improve, just let us know :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 43. Good software - super helpful for downloading custom sized images

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Downloading/scaling/cropping images is a breeze. The #1 use our team has for it is downloading the same image in different dimensions for our ecommerce website.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I dislike the pricing model based on downloads. It incentivizes my team to keep track of downloaded assets and reuse them instead of searching for and downloading assets from the cloud through the DAM. I would rather get priced by GB/Assets/Users etc.

We don't store any video on Dash, and instead use another software because it just gets too expensive too quickly.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash provides a single easy to access place to store all of our images and visual assets (other than video)

**Official Response from Lea Perrino:**

> Hey Kevin, thanks so much for leaving a review! It is great to hear that you find Dash helpful for downloading and customizing images for your ecommerce website.

Thank you for sharing your concerns about the pricing model being based around a monthly download limit. Just to clarify the download limit - while each plan comes with a number of monthly downloads, we'll never block downloads or usage. If you need more downloads, you get one month grace. If you go over your limits two months in a row, that shows you need more downloads and we'll increase your plan. We charge on downloads as that represents when the asset is actually put to use in the world, and therefore where you get value from it.

If you are interested in discussing your usage of Dash and finding ways to make Dash even more helpful for you and the team, just get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help!

  ### 44. The Ultimate Digital Asset Management Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

In the labyrinthine world of digital asset management, DASH stands out as an extraordinarily intuitive and robust platform. Its sleek user interface makes navigation a breeze, even for the uninitiated, while its comprehensive suite of features—from version control and metadata tagging to advanced search functions—caters to the diverse needs of any modern organisation.

But what truly sets DASH apart is its unwavering commitment to security; employing military-grade encryption and multi-factor authentication to ensure your assets are safeguarded to the highest degree. For anyone seeking to optimise their digital workflow without compromising on security, DASH is an unequivocal five-star solution.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Despite its myriad of impressive features, one downside to using DASH is its restrictive download limits, especially on the more affordable plans. Users may find that they quickly reach their download capacity, necessitating an upgrade to a more expensive subscription to continue uninterrupted service. This pricing model could be a point of contention for smaller organisations or freelancers who require high-volume downloads but are operating on a limited budget.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing the team to easily find images and to download them on there PC

**Official Response from Emily Lamb:**

> Thank you so much for your glowing review, Jack! We're thrilled that you find our platform intuitive, robust, and security-focused - that's music to our ears!

We understand your concern about download limits on our affordable plans. Dash is designed to help you quickly locate and distribute your assets so they can be put to use (like downloading those images to your PC in a snap) - we aim to align the cost to the value you receive in Dash.

But we know every customer's needs are different, and sometimes spikes in usage happen. That's why you'll only ever need to consider an upgrade if you go over your download limit two months in a row. We want you to have flexibility and avoid sudden extra costs.

And for those expecting heavier usage, our Established brand plan offers unlimited downloads!

We appreciate your feedback, and it helps us keep improving Dash for you. If you have more questions or ideas, we're all ears. Thanks for choosing Dash!

  ### 45. Quick, easy and efficient.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The tagging section makes finding images so much easier! Everything I need is there, and if it isn't then the guys at Dash are super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Sometimes you can forget the images you frequently use.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all the companies image assets in one place, all being able to access it together and reference images.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, and thanks so much for your review! It is great to hear how much easer Dash has made things for you :)

That's interesting feedback regarding Dash helping you find commonly-accessed assets. We have a 'recently viewed' section on the Home screen, but I can definitely see how a commonly-accessed section would be really helpful too. I'm going to speak with our Product Team about this, thanks for the suggestion!

  ### 46. Great customer experience and perfectly good asset bank

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The best thing about Dash is their customer service. They'll take feedback on board and I've seen features added from their commuinity requests. I use Dash almost every day, and find it simple enough to add assets and find what I need.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There are a few features that are missing that other asset banks have, such as the ability to approve download requests, but it's possible that they'll add these in future.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash allows us to share assets across the business and with external users and manage a large bank of creative assets.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for leaving us a review! It is really great to hear how we've been able to support you. As you mentioned, our roadmap is influenced strongly by our Dash community feedback, so it is great to hear you've seen the results of that!

Download approvals has definitely been asked for before (feature request linked to below), so feel free to vote and comment on this if you haven't already. In the meantime, depending on your specific needs, you might be able achieve your goals using permissions to control which users can view which assets. Just get in touch via the in-app chat if you'd like to explore this further.

  ### 47. Life changing!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucy C. | Head of Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

It's never been quicker to find imagery to plan out social content for our business, the website is laid out so well and is so much like Pinterest, it's very seamless. So much better than Dropbox, thank you Dash for making my job so much easier, you're the best!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Absolutely heartbreaking that there isn't an app, as the website is not very mobile-friendly. Also, the website sometimes glitches when uploading imagery, and it's often slow when uploading 50+ images at a time. Positives definitely outweigh the negatives though, the best DAM tool I've ever used.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were really struggling to find imagery to be used across social media when using Dropbox, as we're a creative team who works visually. Dash makes it so easy to find images, it saves me so much time and it's so well organised!

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Lucy,

Your review has made our day! Wow, what glowing praise - thank you so much. I've shared this with the rest of the team, just the thing we needed on a slightly grey Monday :)

Sorry to hear about the issues you've had using Dash on mobile! We are always looking for ways to improve the experience on mobile, so it'd be great to hear more about how we can make this work better. Would you mind getting in touch with us via our in-app chat to talk about it?

Thanks again for your review!

All the best,
Barney

  ### 48. Steadily improving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diane K. | Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We started using Dash when it was a new resource, and the company has been very responsive to suggested improvements and because of this, it has grown with us as an asset tool. It's very easy to search and navigate.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The auto tagging is quite humorous. I also miss the smart tagging of people.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to make our digital assets searchable and accessible to a large group of in office users and contractors. As we progress from servers and VPNs, this makes it so we can provide access to assets without creating holes in our security.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Diane, thanks so much for leaving us a review :) It is great that Dash has evolved with you and continued to support you.

I've never heard the tagging be described as humorous before! I hope it is still useful for you. Indeed, we wish we could offer facial recognition but the legal landscape surrounding storing personal data like faces has become increasingly complex. Maybe we'll be able to re-add it in the future.

If you have any other feedback for us, please do get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to listen :)

  ### 49. Easy and fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rossella P. | Journalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The system is very user-friendly and offer an excellent visualization of all the contents (we use it as photo archive)

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Up to now I found very few problems and when I found them the helpline assisted me promptly

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a photo archive that was a mess, everyone in the office saved his photos at his manner, without a common rule. Using Dash we had to think about a strategic organisation of the photos, put rules on who can upload and edit the photos, choose search tags, etc. Now our archive is at disposal of all the members of our organisation and it easy to navigate

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Rossella,

Thank you for leaving us a review! Great to hear you're enjoying how visual Dash is. We want to make sure it does justice to your great visual assets! :)

If there's anything we can help you with, just let us know.

All the best,
Barney

  ### 50. Simple and easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Being able to upload assets easily and has great tagging features. It's clear and user-friendly. Perfect to share with externals too.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Wish there was more customisation options within each folders or collections

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to view all assets in one place and has great filters to sort out files

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for leaving us a review! It's great to hear you're finding Dash easy to use, and you're using it to share with your external partners. Is that through a portal? I'd recommend checking them out if you haven't already :)

Thanks for your suggestion re: more customisation options for folders and collections. Would you mind letting us know what you'd like to see? You can contact us in-app through the chat at any point, would be great to hear your feedback.

Thanks again! All the best,
Barney
