Briefcase is an AI-native bookkeeping and accounting automation platform built for accounting firms and bookkeepers. Briefcase offers 2 AI products: (1) Briefcase Ledger: our own end-to-end, double-entry ledger. An MTD-ready standalone solution built for sole traders and landlords — giving practices a complete way to serve clients ahead of Making Tax Digital. (2) Briefcase Connect: Briefcase enhances every invoice and receipt with context from your connected ledger (Xero/QBO) & elimate manual Excel work of Financial Close / Management Accounts Both products are built with AI agents capture invoices and receipts, code transactions, handle VAT compliance, reconcile banks, and build audit-ready working papers — automating the legwork so practices can spend less time on data entry and more time advising clients.
