I like about Bridgit Bench is the ability to easily manage project timelines and the resources assigned to a particular project. Having the ability to move resources between tasks in the Gantt chart is very useful for planning on finding potential problem areas and for shifting resources around. I encounter some issues with it as far as the skill tracking is concerned, Despite the fact that Bench has the intelligent suggestions section for assigning personnel. I have no doubt that this has saved my team many hours of work when compared to the manner in which data was managed in different columns of the spread sheets and different data siloes. The graphical presentation of project schedules and resource utilization plan is excellent. As I am able to view everything on one sheet with each color-coded to divide tasks, it is easy to pinpoint areas that might slow down and edit team members’ schedules. It is difficult for me to track how many hours were spent on work on each project compared to how many I planned to spend. I am grateful to have integrated Bridgit Bench into our workflow; it has vastly improved the way we plan projects and manage resources. What problems is Bridgit Bench solving and how is that benefiting you? Our old software required individual licenses, was extremely expensive and not easy to input data in to.
