I really like that Brex is a bank completely designed for startups like ours. Everything is very easy to do, there is nothing that takes time or involves complicated procedures. The authentications work well and generating users is good. Issuing cards is an instant process. Reviewing charges is very quick, I receive notifications and can authorize payments easily. Everything works smoothly. Additionally, I can do everything from my app, both on the phone and on the computer, and the functions are intuitive and fast. Issuing cards only requires two clicks and I don't need to talk to anyone. The authentications are secure using an authenticator instead of SMS or tokens. The most helpful aspect of the Brex system for me is the phone app. Being able to handle receipt capture and assignment all in one place is a big time saver for me personally. No more having to scan a receipt in notes app and attach it to an email from my cellphone. The app is so very user friendly as well, no challenges found. I even, unfortunately, had some fraudulent activity on my card and the customer support time handled it faster than I could ever have imagined. The cards were easily integrated company wide. I really like Brex for its seamless expense management and robust financial tools tailored for modern businesses. The platform simplifies company spending with features like virtual cards, automated expense categorization, and real-time tracking, which save time and reduce manual effort. The upsides of using Brex include generous rewards tailored to business needs, such as travel and SaaS discounts, a high credit limit without requiring personal guarantees, and easy integration with accounting tools. While I absolutely love Brex, there are a few areas that could be improved. The platform’s focus on startups and high-growth companies means its underwriting criteria might exclude smaller or less-funded businesses. I also find the lack of dedicated customer support or live assistance challenging when issues arise. The reporting and analytics tools, while useful, could be more customizable for businesses with specific or complex needs.
