Whether it's the UI, or corporate card features or budgeting limits. The dynamic credit limit is also very useful. Integrations with outher popular acocunting softwares etc. are well done. Coe banking features like transfers etc have never been an issues. They have become very good at international transfers as well and even allow exact foreign currency amounts to be remitted which is very useful for non-US payments. The best part about Brex is the very helpful and knowledgable customer support team. Until now, everytime I have conctacted the cusotmer support the concern has been resolved, no matter how complicated. **What do you dislike about Brex?** 1. Their money market investments are limited to $500k unlike competitors. 2. They devalued their points by 30% suddenely in 2023 with no warning. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being an early stage startup, we have limited time and funds. Brex ensures everything we need to do can be done quickly. They're always quick to get in touch, understand what's going on, figure out the urgency of the issue, and help me resolve it. It's probably the best CS team of any B2B tool (incl. Stripe, Mercury Bank, and others). Even after each resolution, the team follows up with me again to ensure is everything is still going well. I also appreciate the ongoing product enhancements. It seems the team is actively releasing new features. I'm hoping some of these features will overlap with other providers, so I can consolidate my stack a bit. **What do you dislike about Brex?** Becoming a new Brex customer isn't straightforward. Unless you're introduced through a partner of theirs, it can be difficult. I used Pry (Brex's forecasting tool) for a short bit, but unfortunately, Brex's great customer service didn't make it to that org. Onboarding was difficult, and responses from their service team were slow and short. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Expenses flow easily from credit card payments to categorizing automatically, to our Quickbooks Online. The app and the website are easy to use and includes emails and text messages to remind people to complete the back up information our accounting system requires. And the integreation with Amazon makes supply orders super easy to track. **What do you dislike about Brex?** The Brex notifications are really helpful but if there was a downside (there's always a downside, right?) repetitive monthly charges such as NYT subscritions or consultant retainers also generate reminders to provide back up and I find that can be annoying when I'm in a bad mood. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ever present problem of getting staff members to document their expenses in a timely way without having to hunt them down is made soooo easy with Brex. Setting spending limits and earning points for the organzation instead of on individual staff personal credit cards is cool too. It also does a great job allowing me to manage employee spend via Brex cards. We also appreciate the ease with which Brex integrates with Quickbooks Online. I prepare the transactions and then our outside bookkeeping firm syncs Brex with QBO and is able to quickly and easily prepare our monthly financials. Customer support has been a strong point for Brex as well. I can easily connect with support and get the answers I need for my questions. **What do you dislike about Brex?** About 1 year ago I began to use Brex Bill pay. It didn't do a great job of recognizing invoices and correctly identifying invoice number, payment amount etc. Recently, though, that feature has been improved and I've begun using it again. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Brex solves two main problems. First, we needed an easy way to manage employee spending on travel, entertainment, etc. Brex has done a great job with this. It is easy for me to quickly and easily see how much each employee has spent and how much may be remaining. The second problem is easy expense payment. A large portion of our expenses are international contractors. Every time you need a report the platform can easily be guided it is like a step-by-step on what information and data you need then you already have all the reports needed When times that there is a problem in a transaction, the Brex team never fails to deliver excellent service and support. They always make sure that for every transaction that has a problem, they have a solution and provide it to me. I must say that in my daily use of the platform, we can run a business smoothly with peace of mind. **What do you dislike about Brex?** Hopefully, there will be a much easier procedure concerning international transactions so the customer/client would be easier for them to process with a piece of minimum information and requirements. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pending transactions, the Brex team always provides excellent service by giving you details information and specific solutions to understand the situation, and through the solution given, it benefits us as well the customer to accomplish the needed task to be done. However since they already have a previous transaction in your account, the Brex team will manually help you to complete it and notify you that they have made some action and the payment will be reflected in your account within 24 hours. They are always evolving to include new features requested by clients. It would take me weeks to get all the information I needed to complete they monthly reporting. I found to skip my personf or implimentaiton and directly speak to support was easier to do and faster. Also the way the expences come in vs expences that need to be reviewed are a little not set up in the most smoothest way. There seems to be a high level of human error - if I don't set up the correct rules I'll miss en expence that might be a red flag. I was hoping there was some support we would get on on budgets to provide guidence and review to see if we did everything correctly but that does not seem to be something that we have the option on. But over all the platform is a learning curve we are learning something new everyday. At the end of the day the implementation process and the training was extreamly dissapointing. For training it was not clear or easy and on top of that the mobile view of the app was never shown which is what people use on the day to day. The portal and app have a lot of information. Approvers can use the same app and login to manage approvals as well as process their own expenses, which is an advantage over other platforms we tested. For employees, it is very easy to use. It was adopted quickly. The reporting dashboard is informative. Several entities or subsidiaries can be managed by one admin, which is very convenient. **What do you dislike about Brex?** There are frequent changes. Some of the changes are confusing. For example, with the recent addition of spending limits, it now takes two steps to assign a budget to an employee where in the past it was one step. I have implemented the tool at my current company as the features are hard to beat: easy to use interface for both users and admins, unlike our previous provider which would lock everyone's cards if there was a potentially fraudulent activity till it was resolved, Brex will only lock that individual card. Prior to Brex this was a huge issue as it would disrupt business operations till the fraud alert was resolved. Uploading receipts for users has never been easier either via email or by uploading from mobile app or desktop - the receipts also match to transactions which save valuable time. As an admin I appreciate the custom policies and rules I am able to create within the platform - it gives both visibility into spend and increases policy compliance. Last, but not least, the seamless integration with our Netsuite ERP - saves me a lot of time during month end close. **What do you dislike about Brex?** Nothing I can think of at this time from the Admin perspective nor have received any negative feedback from the users. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** I had issues with our previous vendors when everyone's cards would get locked if there was potential suspicious activity on someone's card - this disrupted our business operations as it took time to find out who's card has the potentially suspicious activity. I like that with Brex, the user gets notified directly and only that particular card gets locked. The integration with Netsuite ERP has been a life and time saver for myself as an Admin. It was fairly easy to setup and it runs smoothly.
