We are beginning to take advantage of the Travel portal which will be super helpful as well. **What do you dislike about Brex?** The only thing I dislike about Brex is that they keep changing / implementing. We started our journey with a credit card platform, but have since expanded to its Treasury solution. The reward points and cash yield generated are a big plus. The challenge could come the accounting system side. The events they throw for founders are also appreciated, and we look forward to being customers as our business grows. **What do you dislike about Brex?** So far we haven't had any major issues: the automatic receipt finder sometimes has problems recognizing amounts, but it's a mild inconvenience. I found to skip my personf or implimentaiton and directly speak to support was easier to do and faster. Also the way the expences come in vs expences that need to be reviewed are a little not set up in the most smoothest way. There seems to be a high level of human error - if I don't set up the correct rules I'll miss en expence that might be a red flag. I was hoping there was some support we would get on on budgets to provide guidence and review to see if we did everything correctly but that does not seem to be something that we have the option on. But over all the platform is a learning curve we are learning something new everyday. At the end of the day the implementation process and the training was extreamly dissapointing. For training it was not clear or easy and on top of that the mobile view of the app was never shown which is what people use on the day to day. The portal and app have a lot of information. Approvers can use the same app and login to manage approvals as well as process their own expenses, which is an advantage over other platforms we tested. For employees, it is very easy to use. It was adopted quickly. The reporting dashboard is informative. Several entities or subsidiaries can be managed by one admin, which is very convenient. **What do you dislike about Brex?** There are frequent changes. Some of the changes are confusing. For example, with the recent addition of spending limits, it now takes two steps to assign a budget to an employee where in the past it was one step. Custom fields currently cannot be used with an API, and for that reason our integration of Brex with QuickBooks requires manual steps. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** We manage our physical and virtual cards, as well as recurring accounts payable, via Brex. ### 17. They've consistently exceeded my expectations **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Brex tackles some of the common problems startups encounter, Brex simplifies my company finances, making it easier to view everything in a glance. Another thing it addresses is how it improves the cash flow, Having virtual cards for each employees allows us to track company expenses real time and provide reimbursements if necessary easily to our employees globally. I have implemented the tool at my current company as the features are hard to beat: easy to use interface for both users and admins, unlike our previous provider which would lock everyone's cards if there was a potentially fraudulent activity till it was resolved, Brex will only lock that individual card. Prior to Brex this was a huge issue as it would disrupt business operations till the fraud alert was resolved. Uploading receipts for users has never been easier either via email or by uploading from mobile app or desktop - the receipts also match to transactions which save valuable time. As an admin I appreciate the custom policies and rules I am able to create within the platform - it gives both visibility into spend and increases policy compliance. Last, but not least, the seamless integration with our Netsuite ERP - saves me a lot of time during month end close. **What do you dislike about Brex?** Nothing I can think of at this time from the Admin perspective nor have received any negative feedback from the users. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** I had issues with our previous vendors when everyone's cards would get locked if there was potential suspicious activity on someone's card - this disrupted our business operations as it took time to find out who's card has the potentially suspicious activity. I like that with Brex, the user gets notified directly and only that particular card gets locked. The integration with Netsuite ERP has been a life and time saver for myself as an Admin. It was fairly easy to setup and it runs smoothly. I have requested feedback from users and everyone said it was extremely easy to use and uploading receipts is a breeze which in turn increases policy compliance. ### 22. It helps keep everything organized and makes transferring data to QBO and NetSuite super simple. The software is somewhat user-friendly, but it allwos everyone the chance to log in and keep track of their purchases. We also tweaked the documentation requirements to fit our needs and reminded all employees to set up text message notifications. This way, they can respond to a text from Brex with the receipt and memo. Brex will send reminders to them so accounting doesn't have to chase after them. Ever since the new updates took effect, our senior staff accountant spends about 20 minutes max every day cleaning up transactions and exporting them over to Brex. Plus, the recent updates let the team set up better internal controls within Brex, especially with the "Transactions to Prepare" and "Ready for Export" tools. Our amazing Customer Success Manager, Sara Hussan, has been an absolute delight to work with as well! She's been quick to address any concerns we have over email or during our monthly cadence calls. At this time I cannot say there is anything I like best about Brex, even on a noncomparision to another software level. I also, on a personal level as an admin, would like to be able to approve expenses on a report basis versus by single expense. There are ways to filter to get it condensed however, it is too many steps and once you go from that screen to another you have to filter all over again, each time. I do like that it is fairly easy to use on a daily basis and the Brex Team listens to our concerns and includes us in their process to help make Brex a more functional user friendly product. **What do you dislike about Brex?** What I dislike about Brex is that when changes are made within the software we are not informed of theses changes until the change has already been made - sometimes weeks after - and by this time we have had to reach out or basically figure out the change for ourselves. The reason I dislike this is because when have instructions specific to tasks for our Team Members within Brex and then we are bombarded with why the instructions they are following are not working for them anymore. The least helpful about Brex is the filters set up, one not being able to filter and get a cumlative total of a category without sending to an excel file and removing other expenses to get the total I need. The app does not have many functions as the desktop version and almost all of our Team Members rely on the app. Also from the intergration side we are seeing another companies coding in Brex, which causes our employees to code incorrect and Brex has yet to find a solution to get those removed. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** I feel that it may be solving issues on our reporting side to which I am not to familiar with in my position. We swapped from SAP Concur which was a real headache for our staff. So far our experience with Brex has been much better and our employees are far happier with the experience. Having the card transactions feed automatically into Brex empower allowing employees to add receipts and memos instantly has been excellent. Customer support is very good and responsive and new features and updates are coming regularly so excited to see where the product goes. **What do you dislike about Brex?** Some features are slightly clunky and a bit slow at times. The app in particular either crashes are takes a long time to update at times. Certain features such as currency conversion are not available on the app. Also the scanning of the invoice for invoice/receipt data is not great. We have an Irish entity and autopay is not available in line with the US entities. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** It benefits our organisation in a number of ways. It is easy to use and easy to administer in the main.
