What do you dislike about BrassRing?

I found the system unnecessarily complex. I thought there was too much inconsistency in this system. I found the system very cumbersome to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple ATS to use"

What do you like best about BrassRing?

I used Kenexa Brassring in the past and I liked it's simplicity. It was fairly easy to use. The communication email template in Kenexa could be sent to multiple candidates which was great. It was also good to stay on track with the candidate pool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrassRing?

Slow processing is quite common with Kenexa. There were multiple times where I was logged off and had to sign in again. I also don't like the fact that their is no social media integration. y Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I've been using Kenexa for almost a decade, and at 3 different companies!"
5/5
What do you like best about BrassRing?

Kenexa has the science and the art! The process and system are the science and Kenexa partnered with us to make it feel like our culture and worked closely with our business leaders to help iron out any issues so that we would have support from our business leaders. This was key and not something that other RPOs offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrassRing?

Implementing an RPO isn't a silver bullet to hiring. It takes time to implement and business leaders using the process need to invest their time to share feedback in order to incrementally improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Kenexa Testing software very useful for pre-employment testing"
4/5
What do you like best about BrassRing?

When I worked in a unionized environment, we did typing and data entry tests in addition to assessing Word and Excel skills. When I first started we didn't have software to do this so everything had to be marked by hand. According to the union, each employee had to be given 2 chances to write the test, so the candidate often had to wait around while we marked their first attempt. When we switched to Kenexa Prove It!, the results would be emailed to me immediately with no delay. Not only could I compare scores, I could also accurately compare how long each candidate took on each question to see what areas they struggled with. The whole process was incredibly efficient and saved ourselves and the candidates a lot of time. It also allowed us to test at our remote locations much more easily. Managers outside of HR didn't need to worry about trying to mark exams for us-they simply needed to set them up on a computer and walk away until they were finished and I confirmed the results had come through. I also liked that the tests could be personalized depending on the skill set needed for the role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrassRing?

The UI was a bit outdated and it was confusing for candidates who were not the most computer literate when to start the test. Many accidentally started the test without realizing and received poor scores because they didn't realize they had clicked start being taking a moment to compose themselves before starting a timed test. Having more clear instructions and a more obvious start button would help.

Would also like to see a list of actual questions available rather than just a vague question list-this would make it easier for managers to pick out the questions that relate the required skills more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BrassRing?

The system is user friendly, provide a vast range of Talent Acquisition support, from processing applicants, updating statuses, sending it to Hiring Manager with a click of a button. Best part is, if utilized well, their Data Insight Tool will be very helpful to generate metrics and for strategic planning year on year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrassRing?

It may have delayed responses from tech support if you encounter some issues, but none too severe. Also, depending on connection and number of users, sometimes you might experience slow load response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Functionality exists but UI and customer support is lacking"
3/5
What do you like best about BrassRing?

The system is robust and allows for a large scale of recruiting, like in a retail environment. It is also possible to integrate it with several other systems without a lot of effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrassRing?

UI is clunky and the improvements are slow. There are many feature quirks (for ex. you can only ask the candidate for the date in dd/mm/yy format). Customer service is not the best, a lot of turnover. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good product but not right for true sourcing recruiting groups"
3/5
What do you like best about BrassRing?

I love the flexibility the system provides. There are 5 different ways to do one thing. The system speed is also great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrassRing?

2xB is not made for recruiting groups that do passive candidate sourcing. Ex: there is no direct way to update a resume in a talent record. You have to add the candidate as "new" and then let the stacking logic recognize it as a duplicate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrassRing?

From a functional standpoint, it is extremely finicky and downright slow. It's best used as a way to disposition candidates, instead of actually searching for candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
