BrandScreen is a brand name screening and brand protection platform. It answers one question: can you actually own the name you're about to build on, and will you still own it a year from now? Checking a brand name properly means five separate searches. The USPTO trademark register for conflicting marks. Domain registries across multiple extensions. Secretary of State business entity filings, one state at a time. Social handle availability on every platform that matters. And the search results, to see who already ranks for the name. Most people do two of those five and hope. BrandScreen runs all five in a single search and returns one report with a Brand Score from 0 to 100. The trademark search surfaces exact and similar marks with serial and registration numbers, owner, live or dead status, and international class. Domain availability covers .com, .ai, .io, .co and .app, with registrar, registration date and expiry on names already taken. Business entity search covers filings across California, Florida, Delaware, New York and Texas. Social handle checks cover the major platforms. Search competition shows current rankings, search volume, keyword difficulty and advertiser competition from live Google results. An AI review reads all five together and explains which conflicts matter and which don't. If you already own part of what the report finds — a domain you registered, a mark you filed — you can mark it as yours, and the score recalculates against what you actually need to worry about. Those declarations stay private. Shared links and PDF exports keep the objective availability score. For teams still choosing a name, a built-in name generator takes a description of what you're building and returns candidates, each one click from a full screening. Brand Protect handles what comes after. It monitors a chosen name weekly for new trademark applications, domain registrations including lookalike variants, new business entity filings, social handle changes, and movement in who ranks for the brand in search. When something changes, you're alerted while there's still time to respond, with a change history showing when each was first detected. Reports export to PDF or share by link. Basic screening is free and requires no account. BrandScreen performs knockout screening. It is not a legal clearance search and not legal advice — always confirm with a licensed trademark attorney before filing.
