The biggest issue for us was the discoverability and aggregation of content for use by multiple departments (sales, product, marketing, c-suite). Marketing was constantly getting bombarded with requests for assets. We had previously used folders in Google Drive and found them to be cumbersome. By using Brandfolder, we solved for version control and discoverability of content across the org. Brandfolder has helped our organization make creative assets easily accessful to our network of 154 organizations. While these organizations have autonomous leadership, we've seen an uptick in the number of people looking at and downloading assets. The various ways in to find content has allowed our members to self serve. Prior to Brandfolder, we were using a very old FTP, there was no option to even preview assets before downloading so we created a portal on our intranet to post about content. It would be nice if we could create private collections without needing to know every person's email address who needs to use it. There are several campaigns that I work on for grants and they need a holding area where all their assets live together so that only grantees have access to those assets. I've used Share Links, but an actual private collection would be helpful. We have only done that once and our marketing manager doesn't want to ever do it again. The platform's tagging system allows me to quickly filter assets by: • Project names and collections • Custom keywords and metadata • File types and formats The feature I like best is the ability to create collections for different projects. For example, I can organize marketing materials by campaign, and then further subdivide them by deliverable type - social media, print, web; making it easy to locate specific assets.
