"Braindate enables your attendees to drive discussions that matter most to them"

What do you like best about Braindate?

The best part of partnering with Braindate is that our attendees get to drive the discussions and topics that matter most to them instead of our organization trying to determine what we "think" they want to discuss. Removing us from this role has resulted in more authentic and long-lasting connections made during our conferences.

What do you dislike about Braindate?

The most challenging part of using Braindate is educating and teaching attendees a new behavior. The educational aspect surrounding Braindate needs to be considered in the planning process to ensure you're doing comprehensive education before the conference so that when attendees arrive on-site for our in-person events, they're already familiar with Braindate and know how to use it to its full potential.

What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?

We often hear that our attendees are looking for more ways to connect with one another while on-site at our conferences, and Braindate has been an excellent solution for connecting our attendees in a more authentic way. In addition, we have been able to gather valuable data regarding our attendee's interests, so we can tailor our future study groups, content and sessions in a way that better speaks to their interests.

"Building Meaningful Connections"

What do you like best about Braindate?

Braindate has been a part of our Healthcare Analytics conference for many years now, both in-person and virtually, and it's become a foundational part of our engagement strategy. There is so much untapped knowledge at the conference beyond our scheduled speakers, and Braindate is our backbone for connecting attendees with similar interests. We've heard so many positive examples of how it has enriched our attendee experience, even for those who identify as serious introverts. Something about knowing you're connecting with another individual who shares your professional interests can be very rewarding. e180 continues to improve their platform and UX every year, and they are great partners to work with.

What do you dislike about Braindate?

The biggest challenge is always getting attendees to go on their first Braindate. But once they do, the number who go on a second is very significant. So breaking down that hurdle (some have said the name is intimidating) and getting folks to try it is always a decent lift.

What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?

Connecting attendees to other attendees with similar interests; unlocking the collective knowledge of our attendees beyond the scheduled content.

"The BrainDate format maximizes time spent at conferences"

What do you like best about Braindate?

I love that BrainDate empowers the attendees to create 1 on 1 and small group discussions that really get to the heart of each attendee is looking to acheive.

What do you dislike about Braindate?

I wish there were a better way to share on social media the topics. There is an option but the graphic generated (BrainDate Logo) along doesn't really do justice to the topic or the format. The image generated should actually show the topic , date and time and summarize the format and benefit of BrainDate.

What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to speak directly to others at the conference with similar interests and gives us a format to connect without fear of being sold to or preached to. You can focus on speaking about topics and meet tons of other thought leaders in half the time and half the effort it would take to try to meet people at a regular conference networking room or hall.

"It is a win/win!"

What do you like best about Braindate?

The Braindate experience is captivating, innovative, and, most of all, fun! The braindate event producers team makes my job easy during the planning process of my events. In addition, as an attendee, I am never disappointed with the knowledge and experience I receive after each engagement. It is a win/win from all angels!

What do you dislike about Braindate?

I wish their platform font size and graphics used a little more real estate for web page design.

What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have been using this program for the third time since December 2020, and they have always taken my feedback and implemented it for a better UI. The team listens and delivers.

"Braindate changed the conference game, for the BETTER"

What do you like best about Braindate?

I recently attended the Workhuman Live conference. It was packed with inspiring and actionable content. This was my first experience with Braindate. Networking and making new connections at conferences has historically been hard. With Braindate, it is easy and SO MUCH more effective. You post topics and invite others to talk with you. Everyone OPTS IN to having meaninful professional conversations. The whole experience eliminates the grossness of trying to make business connections at a professional conference. I don't ever want to go to another conference that doesn't have this attendee service. It easily doubled (probably much more) the value I got from attending Workhuman Live.

What do you dislike about Braindate?

Nearly everything was great, especially the Braindate people who are the best. I think it's challenging to have a smooth experience from an embedded web app that is shoved inside the main conference app. So I would recommend Braindate keep working to make the integration as smooth as possible on the app.

What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?

Networking and making connections at conferences. There is no better way to do it. I loved the group Braindates because you get a conversation with more perspectives and meet a lot of people in a short period of time.

"Braindates - An Engagement & Key Metric Powerhouse!"

What do you like best about Braindate?

As a meeting planner and a conference attendee I know most folks attend industry events with high expections to learn stuff, meet people and have fun. Braindates hits all three while providing a waterfall of engagement key metrics in the process.

What do you dislike about Braindate?

While it's not within Braindates control, for a number of organizations the attendee demographics might not adapt before they go, taking the "I'll see it onsite and experience Braindates at the conference." This can lead to a low adoption rate on paper, and causing organizational stakeholders to only focus on the number of meetings/"I" in "ROI. I would encourage organizations new to Braindates to also evaluate their event through several non-financial year-over-year engagement and feedback metrics/KPIs, including segmenting and surveying Braindate/non-Braindates participants (attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, first-timers, etc.) for NPS scores and in other areas of returning revenue.

What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an attendee, I first experienced Braindates approx. 10 years ago during an annual PCMA CL - a conference for conference organizers. I was immediately hooked on Braindates by cutting through the small talk and having targeted and thoughtful conversations around shared pain points, problem solving, expertise or experiences. All while connecting with new (& brilliant) people. Eventually, I prioritized Braindate meetings in my conference schedule and then filled in open spots with the traditional general education and networking sessions. In my case, I always felt Braindates meetings met or exceeded my professional or personal ROI for attending an-person conference.

As a meeting planner for 20+ years, I've also experienced Braindates from the in-person annual conference logistics side for approx. 1000 attendees. I also know how hard it is to entice past attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and companies to return as well as attract new ones to attend. Traditionally, the event transactional data is evaluated and measured against the organization's strategic goals, ex. key performance metrics (KPIs) or Return on Investment (ROI). Not only has Braindates created that sweet spot between learning and connection where attendees can engage and learn from one another in a fun and intersting way, their platform is rich with valuable key metric engagement data for reporting to key stakeholders. Overall, as a vendor the Braindates staff is a dream to work with they walk you through the process and keep you on schedule, especially during the last 60 - 90 days before your event.
