BracketView is a browser-based JSON toolkit combining an AI-powered syntax repair engine, a WebAssembly-enabled JQ playground, and a live webhook capture tool — all running entirely client-side to keep data private during viewing, formatting, validation, and querying. Core JSON tools include tree and graph visualization modes, real-time syntax validation, JSONPath and JQ filter support, JSON diffing, schema validation against OpenAPI and custom rules, and type generation for multiple languages. The AI repair feature automatically fixes malformed JSON — missing brackets, trailing commas, truncated payloads — while preserving structure. Webhook Tester extends BracketView into API debugging: it generates disposable public webhook URLs to capture and inspect live HTTP requests (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, HEAD, OPTIONS) from services like Stripe, GitHub, and Shopify. Developers can inspect headers, query params, and body payloads in real time, build mock responses for future requests, replay or edit-and-resend captures to localhost or staging, and verify HMAC signatures client-side — with the signing secret never leaving the browser. BracketView uses a freemium model with no installation or signup required. The free tier includes JSON files up to 5MB, basic snapshot sharing, limited AI actions, and Webhook Tester access with 3 endpoints, 25 requests each, and 2-day retention. Drag-and-drop imports and text pasting keep the workflow fast and frictionless.
