It helps distributors, wholesalers, and manufacturers run receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping with real-time scanning directly in SAP Business One. It is built for small and medium-sized businesses that have outgrown standard inventory management in SAP Business One, including companies in regulated industries such as food, pharma, and chemicals. Produmex is part of Boyum IT Solutions, a software company founded in Denmark in 1997. Boyum IT builds solutions for businesses running SAP Business One and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and serves more than 15,000 customers in over 130 countries through a network of more than 1,100 certified partners. Boyum IT acquired Produmex in 2018. Produmex comes in two editions. Produmex Scan is an entry-level scanning solution that can go live in about two hours. Produmex WMS is a full warehouse management system for complex and regulated warehouses that need full traceability and GS1 compliance. Key features include: - RF and barcode scanning for receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting, with every transaction recorded in SAP Business One in real time - Batch and serial number tracking with GS1-128 support, plus SSCC and full backward and forward traceability in WMS - FEFO and FIFO enforcement at picking time, so items with the earliest expiry dates are picked first - Wave, zone, and ad-hoc picking strategies, cross-docking, kitting, and replenishment - Unlimited warehouse sub-levels in WMS, compared to four in standard SAP Business One - Quality status management at bin level, label printing, and modules for 3PL warehousing and automated storage With guided scanning workflows, warehouse teams can reduce manual errors and work faster without paper lists. Produmex WMS customers can see up to 10x faster operations and more than 99% accuracy compared with manual methods. Because Produmex runs natively on SAP Business One, warehouse data stays in the ERP and no middleware is required.
