## Box Reviews
  ### 1. Simple to Use, Yet More Manual Effort Needed

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa B. | Director of Field Enablement , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

I really like Box because it's simple to use. It's very easy to set up different folders, and sharing the information within Box is straightforward. I store everything for my weekly newsletter, like meeting and training recordings, and I can just put a link to where it is stored in Box. It also serves well for enablement and training, with specific folders where new hires can watch videos and complete the required trainings.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

It's a double-sided sword. The fact that it is so easy to use makes it a little bit harder to manually manage. Also, sometimes it's hard for people to access if they don't integrate it with anything else.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box provides a place for editors and administrators to store marketing and enablement collateral, and allows the team access to approved content. It's very simple to set up folders and share information, making it easier to organize and distribute content, like newsletters and training materials.

  ### 2. Solid File Storage without Frills

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

It consistently works for uploading and viewing documents with a solid and intuitive search. It is no frills, but has a clean interface and makes file management easy. Also the Box Sync is great!

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The viewer in Box can be really rough. Trying to zoom in and out of a PDF can zoom your whole page and it doesn't feel dialed in. Also the live document collaboration is lacking. Lastly the search on Box Drive is not very good. It used to be better when it was Box Sync.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our internal file storage for keeping contracts, working docs and other important internal files. It is a historical record as well for all of our internal documentation.

  ### 3. Efficient File Sharing with Glitchy PowerPoint Support

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy H. | Senior Commerce Media Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

I use Box for sharing, storing, and sending files. I really like the ease of uploading files and dragging them from place to place, which helps me save time. Box also allows multiple people to work on a large file simultaneously, which is really helpful for collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Sometimes when working on PowerPoints in Box, there are glitches that don't let you open in PowerPoint, just Google Docs or you make changes and it saves it as a copy which then doesn't capture all the changes. It is quite honestly pushing us away from using Box at the present time. Also, there needs to be a way to get that fixed to avoid this issue.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box allows multiple people to work on large files, saving me time by making it easy to upload and drag files around.

  ### 4. Maybe I'm a dinosaur, but I like Dropbox better

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott D. | Senior Graphic Designer, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Box?**

Its a great solution to host your files, access them from anywhere, send a link to anyone anywhere and allow them to preview it; as long as they are also savvy with technology. I'm happy when I'm working with a client thats using it because I know my way around the user interface, but I'd be happier if it was Dropbox.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Its just not Dropbox, again maybe I've just been using Dropbox too long; but I can't find a reason to switch.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box solves the problem of collaborating over distance or with other companies; need to share files, easy, send a link, need them to preview it, easy, need to organize your files in cloud storage, easy. It makes running a small agency a breeze.

  ### 5. Reliable for File Transfers, Lacks Built-in Editing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

I like the public HTTP download feature in Box. It helps me host files that I can share privately or expose for HTTP download. The initial setup of Box was easy.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

I don't like that Box doesn't have a built-in editor like Google Drive. It would be better if they provided a built-in text editor or docx editor.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Box to host files for private sharing and public HTTP download, avoiding bandwidth limits.

  ### 6. Easy to Use, but Windows Mapping Can Be Unreliable

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton A. | IT , Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

I like how easy it is to use, and how smoothly it integrates with Windows.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

It doesn’t always map correctly or work well with Windows.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing files.

  ### 7. Challenging Transition: Needs Better Stability and User Experience

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Box?**

the idea of it is good but needs work. our company just switched over to box 100%. i find it extremely challanging

**What do you dislike about Box?**

alot. i dont think it is very user friendly. it is very sensitive. it goes down alot. it freezes or kicks you out.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personally, i dont think it is benefitting at all. I do not have a say in my companys decision making for these types of things

  ### 8. Great for Teamwork, But Struggles with Large Files

It's at a quick cloud storage with adequate space

**What do you dislike about Box?**

I struggle with signing into it and loading it frequently

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Additional cloud storage with links to several other apps

  ### 10. Good Collaboration, But Navigation and Organization Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alisha C. | Associate Market Researcher, Market Research, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Box?**

Moderately easy to use, and allows collaboration on keynote files

**What do you dislike about Box?**

felt clunky and not easy to navigate as much as I would like. limited options for organizing files

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps for file sharing and storage when we have lots of files to keep tabs on

  ### 11. Physician Advisor

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marisol V. | Physician recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

it keeps me in line to manange my assignements

**What do you dislike about Box?**

i have not run into anything that does not work for me

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

getting documents completing in a timely manner

  ### 12. Organized

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Widad E. | Sm manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Box?**

I like it because it’s organize, what I don’t like it that uploading takes longer

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Uploading time takes quick long sometimes

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s just all organized

  ### 13. Latency experienced with large files

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan B. | Project Manager & Site/Civil Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Box?**

The idea that you can have collaborative and organized filesharing across organizations and teams is very useful.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Great latency experienced when dropping in new files to share . The larger the file, the longer it would take for someone else on the team to see the file - I'm talking 24 hours for one CAD file...that's too long to be effective.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

File sharing in large quantities with clients and team members who are external to my organization. It keeps files out of our inboxes that would otherwise bog down traditional fileshare sites or inbox storage.

  ### 14. Simple and Secure

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Fizza Y. | Author, Writing and Editing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Box?**

It's secure and convenient for storing and sharing files online.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The mobile app is slow and my customer service experience isn't so good.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used it as a back-up to store my files and folders online and sync between devices.

  ### 15. Good Cloud Platform

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivek G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Box?**

I use it daily, it is easy to download and access. has the basic features of a cloud platform.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The mobile app is not user-friendly and doesn't allow selecting multiple objects and downloads. It doesn't display Excel files in their correct formatting. Files abruptly close if trying to zoom. And my phone/Ipad has enough free memory, RAm, and processing power.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives the basic tools that a cloud platform gives. Isn't like a star performer but barely manages to get past.

  ### 16. Collaboration Made Easy

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hamza I. | Lead Solutions Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Box?**

Easy file sharing, Easy Setup and availability on all mobile platforms.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Sso is very buggy.
It's quite tricky to use local applications to open files stored in Box.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides the ability to access documents on the go.

  ### 17. Fairly common storage platform in line with other similar products

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren C. | Producer and Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Box?**

I like the fact that I can share in multiple different storage spaces (Google Drive, Slack, Office).

**What do you dislike about Box?**

I find that the storage limits are a little expensive for each of the tiered plans.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to store and share files fairly easily among colleagues.

  ### 18. Box is fine - just not right for all our needs

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Box?**

It's been a great way for us to organize our files as long as you have a well-defined folder/file structure and hierarchy.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

It just didn't quite fit our needs in terms of the searchability of our assets. We still use it for organization-wide cloud storage, as it works really well for that. But it's not great for digital asset management, and trying to use it as such caused us a lot of complications and wasted time.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a good way to share our organization's core documents and other important shared files. We love it for that aspect and it works great.

  ### 19. Sufficient Tool for File Storage

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Box?**

Good organization of files for different categories

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Slight glitches such as saving changes or autosave while editing.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Really safe and encrypted tool for trutsed file storage

  ### 20. The Limits of Unlimited Storage

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan S. | Creative Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

Box offers an affordable option for unlimited online storage. We can upload and store a large variety of files and provide reasonably easy access to outside parties.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The biggest downside to Box is the 10 GB upload limit. The upload limit essentially means any raw creative file, raw photos, large photoshop files, or virtually any HQ video file will need to be broken down and compressed into small bits. In addition, we have had several instances where the sharing system with Box has routed the other party to their account, causing them to meet upload limits associated with their package.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box provides an affordable way for my organization to store and share files. The sharing function allows us to show files to clients quickly. We are also able to use it as an archive to reference any of these files. Box's search function often times works for quickly finding items.

  ### 21. Workflow leaves something to be desired.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos A. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Box?**

ITs cloud storage with some perks and, some, free space in the teaser plan.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Necessarily I'm not too fond of the workflow; when you go to notes, it opens another tab instead of making the workspace in the same window.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not much, really, i have other cloud options, that integrate much better with my day to day

  ### 22. Easy to upload files, a little harder to find them

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

The storage was great and having everyone look in one spot for files helped us make sure we did not lose track of any important documents- the security was nice, giving certain people access to some files and other no access helped us maintain privacy.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The integration with Salesforce was a little confusing and broke a lot. We operated on" if its not in Salesforce it does not exist." Because of this client contracts were loaded into the box visual force page in Salesforce. However, this caused a lot of issues because the customer success team did not have Salesforce access and when they went to the browser version of box they were not able to access those folders with customer contracts.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We ensured we did not lose track of any client contracts, important invoices, vendor contracts, etc.

  ### 23. Not necessary in 2022

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin T. | Senior Director of Postsecondary Programs, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Box?**

Collective shared space to retrieve and share information. It has great security, and is a trusted platform.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

It's clunky and unintuitive, and documents are difficult and/or impossible to share and edit within the platform. I want to be able to edit and share in real-time, and this platform is not made for that function

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Box in place of Google Drive, and it allowed for an added layer of secruity.

  ### 24. Powerful but overpriced

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** chintan g. | Director IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

The security features are great. Lets us control the fine details on what can be shared and what not. Also, the admin panel is good and it is easy to switch between admin and user roles.
The box sync app is good as well.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Very expensive and not really the best ROI for a small business owner. We went back to OneDrive and GDrive and both are cheaper and work as well. Moreover, at the time of cancellation, they made it quite difficult to cancel and I had to plead to let us exit as we could not afford it any more.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

If you have a lot of money and a really strong requirement for a powerful storage and sharing solution, box is the way to go. For most others, there are more workable solutions.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wanted a simple file backup and sharing solution. Served the purpose but didnt really add much value at the cost we paid for.

  ### 25. A good solution for file storage and sharing if you are new to cloud storage

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vince C. | IT Systems Analyst, Hospitality, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

Easy for end users to use and store files in the cloud. The web interface is simple to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Management of users and groups is not intuitive and often requires requesting support.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Make sure to review the configurations and limitations and have a good definition of the needs of your company prior to setting up in an enterprise situation.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of cloud storage needs with certain levels of data classification.

  ### 26. An Option Among Many

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Box?**

Functions basically the same way as Dropbox

**What do you dislike about Box?**

It's not any more or less intuitive than other solutions out there, but is much less predominately used seemingly.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central document storage and management

  ### 27. Used on tour once, very handy as a user to receive daily updates/files to work as a team.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

The almost certain guarantee that everyone will see what data and day sheets they need that day from the tour manager. The 10gb storage for free users is pretty ample!

**What do you dislike about Box?**

I don't like as a user that the administrator can see what everyone has looked at. There were other folders I was unaware of that probably shouldn't have been public to the group, but this was at fault of the administrator to make those private.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

It's a good alternative to DropBox. Come to think of it, not having used it for a long time and uploading a screenshot to this review, I forgot how much free space you get compared to Dropbox which is pretty generous. I would highly recommend it for people on tour or working on a collaborative project together.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the start of the tour, day sheets were being printed out and/or emailed to all of us. This was not good as not everyone would read emails or lose printed day sheets and spec sheets for each venue. Box guaranteed we all got day sheets and relevant documents for each day as we were all told to download the app to our phones.

  ### 28. Fine for storage, bad for collaboration

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

Syncs up with desktop, easy to search and organize files/folders.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Not a collaborative system. You can share docs/folders with others, but it does not allow for real-time editing amongst a group.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, switching from Sharepoint to Box has only created problems for our organization. The only benefit is added security.

  ### 29. Absolutely fine offering for file transfer

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bridget N. | Head of Brand Performance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

Easy to use and secure place to transfer files within and between companies. It is easy to use, easy to share and access and there are not many bells and whistles attached to it. Very straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

One drawback I would say is that other products are superiour on is the ability to collaborate and edit documents - Box just offers the platform to share versus being a collaborative tol. Other tools like Microsoft teams or Office 365 you can share and transfer files AND has the ability to also work collaboratively.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing files securely.

  ### 30. Good for Backup Your Files and Any Time access

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish G. | Assistant Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

Good thing about is thagbyiu can acccess your file any time any where with easy and superfast no need to go to your desktop for the file edit and sharing purpose.ome of the best alternative of Google drive ...here you can free 10 GB of Storage which is far better than any other cloud service.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Most ifbtbe time it's crases and log in issue ....limit size of the file most of time didn't open the large PDF files.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily upload & download the large files.

  ### 31. Secure data storage service

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Freddie W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

Box is a service that simplifies the way you work by implementing feature features that facilitate workflow collaboration and secure content management, all with an interface and security standards that build trust in each of your processes, plus a flexible interface and a variety of powerful features that help automate simple tasks and sophisticated processes , resulting in better workflows such as optimized content review, accelerated process approval, and standardized employee onboarding.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Your payment plans are inflexible and somewhat costly on the other hand there are other services offered by the competition that present more benefits at a lower cost than box does not offer, additionally lacking online editing functionality since external users are restricted to read-only privileges.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Box in the case of companies has come a long way. The service includes not only secure file storage, but also diverse options for workflow, data controls, and especially compliance. Although there are other options on the market that offer much more attractive alternatives.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The organization used this service for many years, for the storage of client files that required to be available to employees assigned to other countries and through Box it was possible to share these documents in a secure way, avoiding having a platform of own data servers.

  ### 32. Using it for work

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ehud L. | QA Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

How easy it is to share a document with people in my organizations

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The interface, the desktop version and commenting on the web interface

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaborating on a document

  ### 33. A little confusing at first but effective for sharing documents.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

I like that my colleagues and I have one space to share and retrieve important documents and templates needed for our positions.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The interface is a little confusing to look at at first. The launch page listens recent files first with a menu of sorts to the left. It can be a little bit of a hunt to find things if you can’t remember where they are located but luckily the search feature helps.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy access to frequently needed documents and templates makes it easy to be self sufficient when you need a file.

  ### 34. Should be made more user-friendly

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhresh S. | Freelance Corporate Trainer - Online Platform, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

The product may have best part as plugins.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The sync between local and remote is very poor and lot of issues faced and even data lost due to this issue.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storage and sharing of data

  ### 35. box review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle S. | Application specialist , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

I like that it is convenient. The sign-on is easy, and I am able to communicate with other users.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

i hate that if someone else makes a change on a document that I have opened, it doesn't save my work. Instead, it saves a copy.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

I would recommend since it is convenient.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

editing and sharing documents with my team members.

  ### 36. Not a huge fan

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

Box is a good file storage system and is a good place for final files to live. There is lots of storage space and I'm never worried about running out of room. Generally speaking, its easy to upload something to the site and I like using it as a place for final files to live.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

I hate how clunky Box is. It is not super user friendly, things are formatted strangely and it is painful to navigate through. It's not super collaborative and the search function is by far the worst part of Box, if not the worst search in any app i've used. You will search for something but it will not show up , and it is hard to sort through all of the search results that show up. It just always seems super painful to try and find something and sort through things. It's usually super slow and just overall not fun to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Make sure that you implement a super structured file system.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box allows our company to have a storage system where all files can live.

  ### 37. I have mixed emotions about Box

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

It's rather easy to use. Our company forces it upon us but it's easy to share documents.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

I don't like that our company forces us to use it.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem is I haven't been able to easily figure out how to share with clients.

  ### 38. Convenient software for school work as a student and a teaching assistant

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niyati M. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

Easy for viewing my submitted assignments.
I also use it to grade assignments as a teaching assistant. Because of box, I do not need to download assignments in order to view/grade them. I can do inline highlighting instead of downloading, grading, and uploading an assignment.
Since I was responsible for 150-160 students, using box greatly reduced my workload.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Although there is an option to highlight the mistakes and write comments, it does not always work efficiently. The wrong words get highlighted or nothing does. Sometimes it does not respond to mouse clicks and that can be frustrating,

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grading assignments is the biggest use of box for me. Inline commenting and highlighting is a feature I really like.

  ### 39. Box review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Box?**

Box helps great to open our organisation mail on a mobile phone. It saves time and it is highly secure.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Box requires so much of Authentication . Every time i open it ask for verification. It would be good if it works more or less than gmail app

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using mail on our personal phone with organisations authentication

  ### 40. Get yours anywhere

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

Box is an extremely good application since it is similar to any cloud storage application but the beauty is its collaboration with every applications which helps us to share, edit and even secure way to share or save among a cloud storage.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Its pricing is what which I dislike most about Box,but any how every service as an price tag that has to be given for its purpose. In that way it is an black point of box.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Please do take some consideration in using box with less price for even trail version.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not used box to its extreme capacity but definitely it has an good stuff like automating an process with box relay service and even with which box can also be used with other third party API which makes it flexible and easier to get things done up with and ya that is the coolest way I would use it too.

  ### 41. An okay way to keep documents

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Handan X. | Marketing Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

Box allows me to collaborate with others and edit the document at the same time as others.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

There isn’t much leniency in terms of formatting and word sizes. Also the “share” option doesn’t always work unless you make additional changes in settings.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Consider having more capabilities similar to Microsoft word

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use BOX for note taking purposes for meetings notes or agenda. I also use it for personal documentation

  ### 42. Working with Box with Client who didnt want to learn our system

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

Very easy to input information, share information to and from clients, and easy to e-mail to diffrent people with direct link sent to them.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Sometimes when I would try to send to a particular person k would receive an error message due to them not having access. But spoke with someone indicated that they did, not sure if it was just an error in the system or the person did not double check to make sure they were.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing documents that our company had in system for content managment and file sharing with the client who did not want to learn or use our system.

Benefits were able to communicate and distribute documents in a safe and timely-manner.

  ### 43. Never ever Loose your data again.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sundar S. | SDE (Frontend), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Box?**

Storing data becomes now easy. Not just limited to store data only become more than that due to ability of content management on the go. Integration becomes so simple. Admin console and the Box Notes features are the best what i love about this. Assigning task and managing is revolution to the storage service.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Update feeds seems quite uneasy to access, prioritizing the files and folder could be improved. High pricing limiting the wide range of user like basic user and startup company.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Writing a minutes and sharing files at the same time with the admin controls and also planning for daily uses then you might consider this. But, one thing if your are planning for business uses pricing might be painful to you.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing files and collaborating with the team members and increasing productivity used its API in development purpose and controlling our IT firms and admin.

  ### 44. Box Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Box?**

Box has easy usable features for beginner users who are starting off are able to understand and use box from scratch on how to upload files simply by one or two clicks. The use of having Data loss protection has huge advantages especially or our company who has many files and documents to be shared and handled.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The prices for its use of features are quite expensive such as the amount of users allowed in an account is quite limited in comparison to other services such as one drive being more friendly usable.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

For users wanting to try this although they have alot of storage and good controllable features i dont recommend using this service as there is less expensive ones with better friendly based features available for users and for companies themselves.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although it has secure and alot of storage available the only down sides we as a company have encountered is just its use of features is very limited so in order to have it we need to pay more a at max of £21 monthly which costs too much.

  ### 45. Box needs more collaboration possibilities

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

Synchronisation with folders on the computer

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The layout (I like Google drive more). Also it should be easier to collaborate on files with the team. Another thing: better preview of files without opening it.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Great for backup of what you have on tour computer

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Doing backup on everyday basis of work that I save

  ### 46. Box cloud storage review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

Interface and ease of use, love to implement on other applications.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Limited free storage, not that common, company do very less promotion.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Useful and efficient.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud storage, helpful to share online data, can be implemented with Company application.

  ### 47. Good but not better than google drive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Box?**

I use Box to store backups of my data. It is very easy to make your way to start using this platform to create folders and upload files. Plus, you can share with others who need access to documents to read or edit them.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

I don't like the limitations of Box when uploading files. It only allows uploading files or documents with a maximum size of 250 MB. You have to pay just to get more space and more upload storage. Google Drive gives a bit more space as standard and I don't know what Google Drive's upload size limit is.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Box.com is a great start for using the cloud, but I would simply check the competition because some of them give more space and the layout seems a bit easier to use vs Box.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time and effort by being able to store files through the Box cloud. I mostly use the browser that allows us to review, receive and store from any place, and not only work documents, but also personal ones.

  ### 48. Box Cloud Storage Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Box?**

Both the web interface and the mobile application interface are very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

My biggest issue with the box is the price. It is more expensive than other cloud storage applications that essentially do the same thing.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box has provided another solution for cloud sharing and they have made it extremely easy to use.

  ### 49. An okay solution for storage and file sharing - make it what you want

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Box?**

The interfaces is easy to use. It is sort of up to me/the user to organize files how I'd like to which I do like.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

We seem to often have issues when sharing files / permissions / restrictions especially when sharing with people outside of the organization. That may be to user error on the other end... not knowing to open their emails and accept invites / ect.

Comparing to dropbox (which Ive also used in the past) I feel like both are pretty similar/equal. I dont think I have a preference of one over the other. Neither one offers superior benefits (at least not that I know of).

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing we use it for is sharing large files that cannot be shared via email. Or sharing many photos at once.

  ### 50. Okay storage solution

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajesh N. | Business System Analyst , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Box?**

Box works great to store files and documents with ease. It is very similar to other cloud storage options but a great plus is its integration with other cloud software. Mainly its ability to integrate with PowerPoint online is a great addition.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

My main issue with Box is its ability to collaborate. Although it does provide the Microsoft suite online as a platform to collaborate on its quite lacking. Often there is notable lag on these options and makes group work on projects slow and tedious. Another frustration is having the box desktop software installed and having errors when attempting to load offline work to the cloud. Other issues include inconsistency when working offline.

**Recommendations to others considering Box:**

Software is has a lot of promise and may become more refined in the future. Maybe something to experiment with but there definitely more desirable competitors in the market.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My previous use with Box was to store files for group deliverables. I experimented using it with a small team to see how group work could be achieved on the platform. From my experience the product has great potential but at this moment I cannot recommend it as a go to product.
