Their billing methods, policies, and customer support could not be worse.

The trial required a credit card, the default plan was annual, and they do not send renewal notices.

Despite not using their product and providing zero notice of a renewal charge, they charged my card anyway and refused to refund it - citing policy.

We used Sign Request for years and found that we could easily create custom contracts that our clients could sign on the fly. And we both received excellent confirmation who signed and when with a real tech log of who the signer is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. when I download the signed document, I see this gray box around the signature. i wish there's no gray box but just clean white

2. when i send over the document for signature already and I would like to view the document in the platform, I do not see where are the fields I have created for the recipient to sign and fill up.

3. there was one instance when I have sent the document for signature to 2 stakeholders. One of the stakeholders [lady] received the instructions in a foreign language and the other [gent] in English. The lady received a few docs from me already to sign and everything was in English but the last time it was all in a European language. I had to delete her from my contact list and re-add her once again and that solved the problem. This was not a very good experience as she was so upset she could not understand the instructions.

4. if the default signature is "Draw" instead of the scribbled spelt out name of the recipient as we prefer them to sign/draw their own authentic signature. --> this has not been addressed.

Easy to implement digital signature requests and management. Upload your PDF document, choose where the signatures are required, write your email message and send to whoever you need the signature from. Then review collected signatures from your dashboard. I'm actually struggling to find a downside to SignRequest to be honest. It occasionally asks me to add a team member when we don't need any extra team members to manage signatures, but that's barely a complaint! Works very smoothly and great value for the cost. I strongly dislike the fact that it keeps taking me back to a template that I don't want to use after I send an agreement. I would rather it took me to the templates page. The resizing of text fields is clunky and at times unusable. The Excel signers and normal document export also needs some adjustments, please separate each signer into their own field. SignRequest provides a basic function all businesses need - online signing of documents. The interface is clean and uncluttered - which makes it simple to use. The only downside is a missing feature - the ability to create a direct link (to embed in an email, for example) to an unsigned document. The platform does have a terrific, customizable reminder feature but when checking in with a customer, I like to be able to direct them, in my communication, where to go RIGHT THEN FROM THE EMAIL rather than write, "look out for the reminder emails from SignRequest." I have not had any issues with it besides some signatures that I have needed in some of the tighter areas on the small side, or it doesn't line up correctly. I love the convenience of electronic signatures, as it eliminates person-to-person meetings. It helps in the housing industry when people are moving from out of state. It eliminates missing signatures, snail-mail, and the purchasing of stamps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am not fond of the prep time it takes to get the paperwork ready. Especially when there is a lot of paperwork to sign, it would be nice if Sign Request could predict where signatures are needed, and we just adjust who is required to sign on that part. I don't like the blue signatures, as it makes it extremely hard to read when trying to print off paper documents. I also have a hard time with the size of signatures and text.
