**What do you like best about Boulevard?**

Switching to Boulevard has been one of the best decisions we made for the studio. It helps us wear a lot of hats and makes everything cohesive. I love that everything is under one program, unlike before when we needed separate solutions for waivers, payments, and scheduling. Also, the initial setup was smooth from what I can remember.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

I think some of the reporting things are still a bit glitchy, and commission cuts don't always show accurately when looking at a larger time frame.

**What problems is Boulevard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Boulevard as my CRM. Switching to Boulevard was one of the best decisions for our studio, making everything cohesive. It's great having waivers, payments, and scheduling all under one program.

**What do you like best about Boulevard?**

Its very user friendly and having a single dashboard for all clients makes it easier to manage. The only booking portal is also great for clients. Customer support is also really good and timely in their response and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

Sometimes I feel some of the features though great fall short. For example, the Phrases section of the Messages tab is great but when you go to a client profile where I need the phrases the most its not there? Why?

**What problems is Boulevard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a central dashboard for managing our clients was key. Even though our clients don't go between locations all that much its been a great feature to have. I also love the Tagging system and being able to track client habits via tabs. Love love this one.

**What do you like best about Boulevard?**

I really appreciate Boulevard for its ease of use and robustness, which are crucial for efficiently managing our Med Spa. The software excels in streamlining scheduling and enhancing patient engagement through advanced communication tools like email and text blasts. I love how patient forms are handled in advance, making check-ins a breeze. The checkout process is awesome, and the marketing tools are impressive, especially the bespoke touches for patient interaction. Additionally, Boulevard's comprehensive features like memberships, packages with vouchers, and rewards programs all in one place make it a powerful tool for our spa. The experience of setting it up was very easy, much simpler compared to PatientNow Pro, and it offers far better functionality, which overall enhances the workflow in our practice.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

I don't like the lack of integration with RXPhoto, VISIA, Cherry, and CareCredit because it leads to duplicated information and multiple touchpoints, which complicates our workflow. It's frustrating that Boulevard isn't electronically integrated with these services. While setting up Boulevard was easier than PatientNow Pro, I wish there was more support during setup to help us ask the right questions and test the system thoroughly.

**What do you like best about Boulevard?**

We moved over to boulevard from another booking software a couple of months ago - and it was such a smooth transition. Having used the same booking software and POS for over 6 years at that point, we really dreaded it - but the onboarding team at Boulevard made it so easy. We’ve seen a ton of new clients on our books because of the easy online booking, and it’s such a smooth, fast loading, and good looking software. We are so happy we switched!

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

Nothing so far really - there are a couple of features that I’ve requested and hope to see soon, but we’ve found ways to work around it.

**What problems is Boulevard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our old booking software put our first time clients through hell before they were able to book. Two different verifications, crashing, etc. We see a lot more new clients on the books now.

I love how easy it is for my patients to make an appointment with Boulevard which makes my life so much easier. I love the consents & paperwork are buildable & automatically sent to my patients. I love being able to customize my forms & treatment records. If I had to pick, what I like best is the option to make my experience my own.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

I’m not a fan of not being able to auto populate the amount of units of each product into the checkout area from the treatment record. & this would help with traceability in terms of how many units used for the purposes of tracking in both reports & inventory.

**What problems is Boulevard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate the updates and announcements of said updates. I appreciate the ability to send in suggestions as a Medspa owner. Billie is AWESOME as well

Very user friendly and easy to learn and saves us a lot of time.

Have to wait to speak to a live person, sometimes days or weeks before you can schedule a time for a zoom call. So if you have a pressing issue it may have to wait. Also, the fact that you can only void same day makes fixing errors tricky.

Saves a lot of time and time is money.

**What do you like best about Boulevard?**

The support portal is one of the most helpful that I have dealt with in my time using support portals! Aside from that, they offer so many great features from client accounts to have them accrue points over time, or automatic package linkages to other websites. It’s all intuitive and support can help you through every step of setting up until you’re ready to take it on yourself.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

There definitely is a learning curve. Previously, I used Vagaro, and I never really ventured into the intricacies of the software. My time with Boulevard though has allowed me to really dive in to all they have to offer, but it has taken me a bit to get used to.

**What problems is Boulevard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Boulevard has integrated packages and subscriptions. These are two things that my spa thrives on. The fact that we can easily create and distribute the packages and manage subscriptions in the app are a godsend.

Boulevard is the most user friendly booking app I've ever used. As someone whose been in the spa industry for over 10 years, this app by far has taken a huge weight off my shoulders when it comes to; customer satisfaction, booking appointments, & meeting overall monthly revenue goals. I would recommend this app to any spa or medical office to run their business with smoothness & professionalism!

I honestly don't have any complaints about this app.

I haven't had any problems. Customer Support has always been super easy to reach & resolve any questions I had about the app.

It's so user friendly! They've thought through most things and they are constantly improving and adding useful tools.  It also almost never goes down.  The few times it has, they have it back up and running right away. We love it!

The ap could use some work.  And there are a few small features I wish they'd incorporate.  Otherwise it's great.

I love how customizable the reports are.  And booking, client database and on board/off board is a breeze.

The luxury feel of the program and the simplicity of it for clients to navigate and book appointments.

They do not have an app that can be downloaded onto your phone so you can collect payment for products when away from your Med spa for things like products.

I had issues with how my profile was set up and my Medical Director was not able to co-sign my advanced medical charts. This is a regulatory requirement.

This platform offers everything I need. I can adjust product prices, add promotions, upload consent forms, and include credit card surcharges. It also supports booking, notifications, and note-taking, and provides access to client names and contact information.

**What do you like best about Boulevard?**

This is the most customizable and user-friendly software I've used in this business. We transitioned from another software two years ago and making the move was so easy we only needed one training session to implement it. We didn't even need to transition our client base over, they took care of that. I utilize both the desktop and Android app every single day seamlessly without any issue. New features come up every month that make using Boulevard stress free (ideas WE as users get to suggest, not just the quick fixes they think we want). And every time there has been a bug or error that needs updated, customer support lets us know so fast we never need to reach out to them and let them know there's a problem.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

We have yet to find something in the software that is a hinderance.

I haven't seen any issues that we need fixed, usually any software bugs that come to our attention are from the Boulevard team and they're fixed so fast we barely even notice they're there.

Not integrated with Tippy. Have to use their payment processing- no option to integrate 3rd party payment processing…2-3 days to receive deposits which is a long time for businesses.

Boulevard has so many great features it’s hard to choose one. I think our favorite is the instant chart creation once clients book services.

**What do you like best about Boulevard?**

There's so many things i like about boulevard. It was super fast to get use to. Everything is self explanatory. I like that different people have different color blocks to make things organized and love how it is so easy for clients to book online, reschedule/cancel. Also when thinking they cant get better, they always keep updating for a better experience. Their customer support is incredibly fast to any questions or concerns. If they don't know the answer they will email you after. I use boulevard every day of the week. I wouldn't change it.

The least thing i like about boulevard is the front desk option. I don't really care for it or use it.

Boulevard is making it ease to schedule online appointments. For example when i am not by the phone to answer calls, they can go online at whatever time to make an appointment.

**What do you like best about Boulevard?**

Boulevard is a decent booking software with some nice integrations. Its booking feature is easy to use and train new team members on. Its online client self booking is easy for our clients to use. The reports are also easily customizable. These are the two most important functions for my company and Boulevard does them well, so we stick with Boulevard.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

Missing some features that would be helpful such as AI integration into messages. Missing some small but helpful tools such as being able to close the company for a day to prevent booking, instead each individual service provider has to be marked off.  It also does not let the company decide how to (or not to) pay service providers when a client uses reward points. With automatic text and email confirmations/communications, you cannot tell it not to confirm/contact a particular service providers clients. These are a few things I have wanted or needed to do in the past 24 hours and cant do. They are small, but sometimes its in the details.

Booking client appointments. Primarily allowing clients to self book.

Some actions, such as completing group bookings, are poorly designed in the user interface and prone to user error

Boulevard allows me to do online bookings, manage payments from customers, and run reports to see studio performance. These are essential for a digitally present studio like mine.

I love how easy it is to use and that there are videos to watch for just about anything you have questions about! Customer support is helpful and prompt!

I wish the checkout process for patients showed the amount they are actually paying and not the total before discounts/other payment methods. Its very confusing for patients.

Would love the option to mark messages as "unread" once they've been opened, or "star" or "pin" them, so other employees can view them, without them getting lost.

It is one of the easiest systems I've used and I've used so many in the past years. We use it everyday and it is a vital part of our business! It has rebooking features, retail, and add on features! Customer support is als o prompt to respond! Over all a great pos system.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

No dislikes. Only one I may say is when ringing out a membership, it does not auto assign the membership to the host that is ringing it up so we have to go back and manualy add the commison. At times we may forget to add it and the host will not the commision for the sale. Other than that, I love BLVD.

It helps us as a pos and with keeping track of appts and client history. Keeps us all up to date!

POS systems are never one size fits all, so of course there are little things that you need to work around but I've never experienced a team/support that helps find the solution so quickly! You're going to find something that you don't love, but there is always an easy work around.

User friendly (very easy to use). It was a very smooth change from our old software. Customer support is great, the Bot usually helps with all of our questions but if we need futher help there's someone on the team always available.

I don't like that when you check a client that has a discount or has used other payment methods it gives them the total price paid, and it is very confusing. Also the reports could be easier to personalize, and given more options for us to get the exact report we need.

We have loved using boulevard at our medspa! There was a hesitancy at first due to the higher price point, but this system is worth every penny. The charting is easy, scheduling is seamless, and client experience is better than anything else out there.

I like that they are constantly making updates and improving its capabilites with the ever changing industry.  I like that you have both a support page and can talk to someone directly almost immediately to troubleshoot.

There are some options that I would like to see with backbar fee options (% and price), more options with customizing online booking, integration with Vish and more abilities with the reports.

I can track all users and the moves that they make to be able to more efficently address staff issues and user error.  We can also keep better track of our guests, their services, payments and cancellations to protect both the business and the staff.

The only thing I dislike about Boulevard is the Boulevard Duo - it often has issues which can make the payment process difficult.

We are a medical practice - not a salon.  So Boulevard is missing all the EMR info we need.  I'm currently having to use 2 systems so that we can chart properly. Scheduling has more steps, client profiles are lacking info our old system deemed standard, and inventory is unable to track lot numbers and expiration dates to name a few issues. During the sales pitch we were told the reporting was amazing, yet most reports I need are not available.

Currently it has given me more problems than solutions.  The owner chose to change to Boulevard from a traditional EMR and it doesn't work for what we need it to.

It's a decent booking software, and it covers all the basics. The texting tool is a nice option, the UI very user friendly and it's easy to understand/use

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

Reporting and drill-down do need a lot of work, no bulk option to modify services or products, so it is very, very time consuming, especially if you have a lot of employees or an extensive menu. Invoices are confusing, and the reporting for those is non-existent. Don't try to reopen a bill and figure out what was done; you'll only have access to fundamental info ( no details on discounts, why the operator applied it, price changes, or anything out of the ordinary). You can see that the team who developed this tool never spent 1h in a real business at the front desk.

**Recommendations to others considering Boulevard:**

Explore all your options; try it for a whole month on a dummy Co. to make sure it fits your needs.

I really can't think of any upsides. The UI is awful.

Just about everything, but specifically the UI in the app is difficult at best to use. It doesn't offer as many options as the desktop version and when using the desktop version, it's just plain confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering Boulevard:**

Really give Boulevard a test run before taking on and making a switch from other booking software. We've used Boulevard for a couple years now and it has not gotten any easier. When we first took on Boulevard, it felt unfinished, unfortunately it still feels that way.

Nothing, Boulevard is a headache to use and really creates more problems than it solves. I really wish the salon would switch softwares.

The best part of Boulevard is how easy it is to set up and how user friendly it is (front of house, team members, and for guests as well). 

After that - for sure - the reporting is amazing. Boulevard offers a wide range of reports and you can customize them as well to create even more data for your business.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

I dislike very little about it. Probably just that we had an issue with their newest card reader option. It just wouldn't work for us. Our other one works great so it's not a huge issue or dislike. 

The app is great but I just wish it would allow us to shrink the calendar down so we can see more of the day or all of
Our artists but that's a silly thing to be upset about haha most POS systems don't even have an app. 

There's nothing much to dislike in my opinion because they have this awesome feature where you can make suggestions for what you need out of the system and how to make it better so they're always making updates.

We're able to quickly and easily schedule clients while at the same time tracking our inventory and collecting revenue for our business. We love the online scheduling system as well.

**What do you like best about Boulevard?**

The convenience of finding openings for a service and being able to type in the stylist's name from the drop-down menu. I can look at more than one stylist's schedule at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Boulevard?**

No date ranges available for waitlist (like starting or expiring dates of when a client can select to be available for a service). It would be so nice to have this plus their place in the waitlist automatically be removed after the date passes. It will save so much time. We don't know if credit card information we take is valid until we charge. I've noticed we can put any numbers as the CVC code. I believe we've had a few no show fees unprocessed because of that.

**What problems is Boulevard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've noticed the benefit of seeing a client's past rescheduling history of their appointment and who they're booked with before opening their appointment from their profile under the client's tab. Those were woohoos for me. Clients now receive a cancellation email notification of their appointments.
