I would like there to be more classes on the YouTube channel, as it was an important source of learning but they no longer update it. I have in mind that what is missing in Botpress is the lack of 24-hour customer support, because, in some cases, I need to use it in the middle of the night and they take a long time to respond, and when they do respond, they take a long time to solve my problems, this is what most impacts the quality of the product. If you are not the kind of person who reads or watches videos to learn, then you might not be able to catch up. Yes, it's very easy to set up, but if you want to build a more complex AI bot, there are things you need to dig deeper into; hence, there are some learning curves. Botpress studio is very intuitive and easy to learn. The way you program your bot is by creating a visual workflow.

The botpress studio is sometimes very annoying because it gets unresponsive sometimes and have to reload it. Other times the log window gets in my way and I can't hide it.

Code execution errors are very general, so is difficult to debug the code.

Botpress's retrieval augmented generation is top of the line. With very detailed, often very similar different bits of information it its knowledge base, we have found it to be 72% accurate in answering prompts. This is the highest I've seen after trying several solutions. Their team is confident (and I trust them) that we can get this percentage much higher to where we want it.

I love the flexibility I have when working Botpress, particularly the ''Execute Code' card.

In the previous chatbot builder, I was working with, all variables regardless of datatype were treated as strings. Working with arrays and objects proved difficult than it should've been. The documentation and SDK aren't as good as they could be, particularly the React components part, it seems there's a bug, I couldn't embed the Webchat on my react app with what was on the documentation, I had to add raw JS scripts before this could work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Execute code and expression card are easy to use and I can easily integrate Botpress with the logic in my platform and any other platforms by using API call. Capturing a specific user input by using conditional expression and creating loop in Botpress also can be easily achieved. Botpress is just really good, exceeding my expectation. It can be trained using documents, text, websites and can even search the internet for answers! What truly sets it apart is its ability to REMEMBERS conversations with EVERY USER. Imagine how you can do customer profiling easily with this!

What I love the most about botpress is it do not limit you base on platform. It is a really open and flexible platform, where it can integrate seamlessly across multiple channels, allowing you to just train one "brain" and deploy it across WhatsApp, Messenger, and more.

Moreover, botpress also has webhook integration, where I can openly connect the chatbot to different API or other endpoints to cater for different business needs. Again, a very good plus point on not being limitted by the functions offered by the platform!

Botpress do not have a dedicated customer support team. But, they sure have a vibrant and growing community. Communities that is really geeky and passionate about the product. Also, they are constantly upgrading their portal. Understand that they are actively improving the product, but the upgrades sometimes confuses me, cause I no longer find the function in the expected place after the UI changes, and it took me a while to figure out where has things been moved to. The most straightforward feature i like about botpress is how easy it is to use.The simple user interface make it to perfect for buildng chatbots.I use botpress alot because it's dependable and contain AI tools that ensure the chatbot give intelligent,accurate responses,it is also very much easy to deploy in the other websites.their custimer support is also up to the mark,also the implementation part is very much ease.In our organisation i use very frequetly to make a bot .
