It efficiently organizes international financial entries and produces clear reports that fit our market analysis workflows. Strong GDPR-compliant access controls keep confidential business financial data fully protected. The clean dashboard also lets us retrieve core financial metrics in moments, saving plenty of time for our global trade research and stakeholder work. **What do you dislike about Botkeeper?** The platform offers poor compatibility with German accounting regulations and EU cross-border tax rules, which are essential for our daily operations. There are no native connections to our in-house research and stakeholder tools, so we have to move data manually. Its custom reporting functions are quite limited, making it hard to build bespoke financial analyses for complex international trade projects. **What problems is Botkeeper solving and how is that benefiting you?** We leverage Botkeeper to handle routine bookkeeping, transaction matching and report creation. It centralizes fragmented financial data from overseas partners and lightens manual admin work. It just feels clunky and not the best. **What problems is Botkeeper solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solves the need for a low level bookkeeper staff and the cost/ training that comes with that role in an accounting firm. ### 3. Botkeeper review **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jen M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020 **What do you like best about Botkeeper?** I think that it has some interesting programs and some interesting capabilities that you do not find in other software systems. **What do you dislike about Botkeeper?** Further more, at times, it is kind of complicated to learn and at times feels like you could do the whole thing faster with a spreadsheet to be able to sort or to filter. **What problems is Botkeeper solving and how is that benefiting you?** One other important problem that I have found is that at times I think Excel could do the same thing without having to use Bot keeper.
