## Bored on Slack Reviews
  ### 1. Something fun to keep your Slack channels entertained

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

The app is quite simple actually - every day it sends a funny and interesting question to the channel you assign it to, and people can chime in with replies. Our company uses it to keep interactions up in our #random channel. It is a good icebreaker for new and existing folks because the questions illicit responses that lead to more questions and funny stories.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

It does get stale at one point as people start to ignore it as the days get busy. But occasionally, I find people respond to the questions, and it's fun when that happens!

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing major apart from the fact that it starts new conversations and sometimes keeps the conversations going as well. You also get to learn funny things about your colleagues and is a great way to bond with the folks - especially if you're in a remote setting.

  ### 2. Bored is fun and lightens up the work day!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg R. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

I really appreciate the simplicity of Bored. The ability to have simple and mostly mindless games to play throughout the day is really great! I also love that it's inside Slack for convenience

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

I've found that Slack seems to limit the true potential of Bored. The games are fun, but it seems like there could be a lot more to them without the coding limits of slack. If we could have games that are more hands-on, that would be awesome!

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that it provides a much needed break in the day. When tensions are getting high or the stress is really reaching a breaking point, Bored provides a great break!

  ### 3. Bored is fun!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg R. | Funding Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

I like the fun games that Bored provides. They can certainly be a welcome distraction from an intense and stressful work day. The automation and simplicity make the perfect tool

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

I find the function of the games to be somewhat confusing at times. The games provided can be a bit hard to follow, especially within a channel and it can make it difficult to actually have a good time playing the game.

**Recommendations to others considering Bored on Slack:**

The best and probably the only option for games on slack. It's fun, but give yourself a couple of practice rounds to figure out the mechanics. You probably have to be focused on the games to play them.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bored on Slack is helping provide temporary distraction and stress relief throughout the work day. It increases my mood, my feeling of accomplishment, my ability to stay focused, and my connectedness with my team.

  ### 4. Unified way to connect with colleagues at workplace to share information securely.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syed W. | Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

Its user interface is very easy to use. We can share all the information without having a doubt of security breach. Keeps people connected at workplace.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

Sometimes the message takes few seconds to appear upon sending, that is very rare but yeah thats the only thimg I dislike. Rest the tool is perfect

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the WFH culture slaxk is very good mode of communication and solves the problem of information sharing without any security breach. Apart from that it connects people from different cities working in the team together at one place/group.
.

  ### 5. Great fun for remote teams but a bit slow and sluggish

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura F. | Chief Funnel Architect and CMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

Great quizzes and chat options to get to know co-workers remotely and challenge each other. Love the feature that you can choose the topic and send challenges after.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

Slows down the system quite a lot. Also some of the questions are repeated which takes away from the fun. Other than that, easy to install and implement, apart from the delays.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting remote teams. We have teams working from home due to the pandemic, also remote workers in different countries, even continents. Great to have a get-together with a theme.

  ### 6. Fun diversions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

Lots of options to create a few daily reversions from rote work.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

Trivia options have a lot of repeats. After 2-3 weeks there are lots of familiar questions.

**Recommendations to others considering Bored on Slack:**

It's simple and easy to use. The options are limited and somewhat repetitive but it's still lots of fun.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving employees a few daily breaks to stretch their mental muscles. Trivia. Icebreakers and other short contests help break up the day. Conversations on Slack follow that make Bored games more anticipated the next day.
