I like how Bootstrap makes it easy to move from idea to a working interface quickly without getting stuck in setup. The grid system is straightforward and helps with building responsive layouts without overthinking breakpoints. The prebuilt components are also very practical, especially when you need clean, consistent UI elements fast. I also appreciate that it is well documented, so even when I step away from it for a while, it is easy to come back and pick things up again. One downside of Bootstrap is that it can make designs feel a bit generic if you rely too heavily on the default styles. It's easy to copy and implement desired components on your website and its wide usage in the industry makes it a worthwhile investment. The framework enables creation of responsive websites and there are available Bootstrap themes. Bootstrap can be limiting because it results in many websites having a similar appearance due to limited customization options and a limited color scheme compared to other frameworks such as Materialize CSS, Skeleton, and Tailwind. Additionally, it is quite heavy and requires use of the full CSS file, with no option for a lightweight version with just the necessary components.
