**What do you like best about Boost.ai?**

I really appreciate Boost.ai for helping us transition from a rigid, limited predefined flow to a flexible and dynamic agentic flow. I like the flexibility and user customizability it offers, allowing us to tailor a very bespoke and focused experience for the end customer. The initial setup was easy, and we were able to recreate 100% of our previous chatbot in less than a week.

**What do you dislike about Boost.ai?**

I did experience in one ticket for support that the tech support first responses were obvious AI generated responses that gave false information at first, and afterwards the issue wasn't explored despite having volunteered my time to guide through the issue with the steps I was able to reproduce the issue.

**What do you like best about Boost.ai?**

In my role as a project manager and ai trainer working with Boost AI, I'm very satisfied with both their product and team. They've created something quite special: an advanced AI platform with many complex components, wrapped in an interface that's simple to understand and use. 

Boost AI excels at making complex technology accessible. Natural language processing is typically a complex topic, but they've made it understandable for non-technical users to learn and work with. This means our team can actively improve prediction accuracy without needing deep technical expertise. Their focus on user experience and the customer journey really shows in how intuitive the platform is. The team is very adaptive to new technology. When ChatGPT emerged, they were quick to implement it into their platform. Within a short time, it matured enough to be used in highly regulated industries like finance - which is exactly what we needed. They're also excellent at providing documentation and frameworks necessary for risk assessments and DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessments), which is crucial for compliance and security. 

Their Customer Success Management team is focused on maximizing the value we get as customers. They don't just provide support - they actively work with us to ensure we're getting the most out of the platform

I especially appreciate the platform’s scalability and how well it handles complex dialogue structures. The support team is responsive and knowledgeable, and the documentation is solid. Integration with external systems is smooth, and the analytics dashboard gives useful insights into bot performance.

There’s very little to dislike. If I had to mention something, I’d say the analytics could be more customizable, especially when it comes to filtering and exporting data. Also, while the UI is generally clean, a few areas could benefit from minor UX improvements to speed up navigation.

What I appreciate most about Boost.ai is its intuitive platform design and flexibility. It enables teams to create and launch conversational AI solutions rapidly, even without extensive coding expertise. We use Boost.ai every day, and all of our implementations have been very straightforward.

The Academy modules are very nicely put together. A blend of all learning styles to allow anyone to master the platform.

The customer success team is incredibly supportive, they go above and beyond to ensure your project is a success.

In general, the people I've met from Boost.ai have been very welcoming, supportive, and are passionate about the product.

I'm yet to see any downsides, I'm incredibly pleased with the early results of our virtual assistant.

I truly appreciate the straightforward setup process of Boost.ai, which was especially accommodating given that I am visually impaired, relying on only ten percent of my sight. This accessibility facilitated my ability to register for and participate in webinars, a crucial activity for me and my colleagues. The platform significantly benefits my work by expanding our reach through webinars and fostering engagement with a large audience. I find the accessibility of the chatbot highly commendable, even though I haven't personally used it, I've heard great feedback. It supports my initiative to recommend Boost.ai to our customers confidently. The system's design accommodates users with varying accessibility needs, making it inclusive and user-friendly. I truly appreciate Boost.ai for its intuitive and easy-to-use interface, which significantly simplifies the process of adding new questions for the virtual assistant (VA) to handle. The reliability of the system is impressive, with no outages experienced over four years of usage, ensuring consistent service. The company’s commitment to customer support and success is evident through their setup assistance, providing a developer and a subject matter expert who guided us through the process. Their ongoing support is remarkable, as they continue to meet with our team to ensure everything runs smoothly, even years after initial deployment. The platform efficiently manages increasing customer inquiries, reducing the need to escalate to human operators, which provides a clear return on investment by saving costs while handling a large volume of interactions. Additionally, Boost.ai's human chat feature allows seamless escalation of calls from the VA to human chat staff.  Our voice callers also interact with the VA and is seamlessly integrated with our VOIP system. The built-in training programs in their learning academy are also beneficial for helping new staff members become proficient administrators.

**What do you dislike about Boost.ai?**

I wish it had better reports for the Human chat. Reports such as when are our busiest call times, heat maps, etc. We are able to get a monthly count of how many calls each rep took and wait times, so the basics are there but advanced reporting on the human chat side is lacking.

**What do you like best about Boost.ai?**

I have been using Boost.ai for five years to provide customer self-service support, and I have grown to appreciate several aspects of the service. The e-learning courses offered by Boost.ai are decent and facilitate a good understanding of the system, making it easier for users to get accustomed to new things. The setup process was pretty straightforward, allowing for a seamless integration into our operations. Boost.ai is particularly effective in answering customer questions, efficiently handling a lot of easy queries that don't require much investigation. This capability significantly benefits our operations, easing the workload on our support staff. The software's language understanding capability is noteworthy, demonstrating good proficiency in comprehending customer queries. I also find their API connection incredibly beneficial, as it allows for easy integration with other software, which is crucial for our operations. The technical capabilities of their support team, including both first-line and senior personnel, are commendable, as they possess great knowledge and understanding of the system, providing reliable assistance whenever needed.

I think the training data model should be improved. It's a bit old fashioned.

Boost has been a game-changer for our customer experience, specifically in how our Virtual Agents (VAs) interact with clients. Currently, 70% of user conversations are fully resolved by our VAs, on WhatsApp, Web Chat and App Chat. 

The Boost platform is highly flexible, allowing us to build exactly what we need. It offers open architecture for seamless integrations and connections, and a powerful hybrid approach to response generation (combining pre-built and generative AI).

The platform’s continuous high value comes from its ability to intelligently listen to user input, rapidly deploy new features, and adapt itself to the unique demands of our operations. In under two years, this investment has saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars by eliminating the need for new hires to manage current volume. Boost is truly worth the investment and elevated our customer support experience to A+ level.

**What do you dislike about Boost.ai?**

The main area for improvement in Boost is the reporting and analytics capabilities, particularly concerning the performance of the Generative AI responses.

While the existing reporting is adequate for pre-built responses, it currently does not meet our needs for analyzing the efficacy and output of the generative AI.

A significant enhancement would be the introduction of a Generative AI-powered "Copilot" feature within the platform. This would allow us to ask specific, natural-language questions about chat data, such as: What are users saying?, What is their sentiment?, and How are they navigating the conversational flows?

This is not a critical blocker today, but it is a necessary feature to maximize the long-term value and scalability of the Generative AI component.

**What problems is Boost.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our company is currently on a fast-growth trajectory, our support ticket volume is increasing proportionally. Boost is a critical factor in managing this surge, preventing us from having to escalate our FTE (Full-Time Employee) headcount at the same rate.

Crucially, this efficiency has come without sacrificing quality. Boost offers an A+ Customer Self-Service experience by providing fully automated processes, responses, and end-to-end user experiences designed to solve issues without the need for agent intervention.

**What do you like best about Boost.ai?**

The platform is very rich, meaning it has a lot of functionalities for both building, testing and integrating chatbots & voicebots with almost no code. It gives flexibility in choosing between old-school intent prediction and Generative Actions. It has a nice tool for writing automated tests (Test Studio) and a lot of plugins for 3rd party integrations. Learning materials and support are very good. There are also nice tools for analytics (dashboard with a lot of metrics, automatic AI reviews).

**What do you dislike about Boost.ai?**

Not everything was intuitive at first - especially filters and using the same action in a few different workflows. 
LLM-as-a-Judge in test studio is generally good, but sometimes make mistakes. 
I'd also appreciate having something like compile-time validation of the workflows and more mature versioning system - but I guess it would be pretty advanced feature and I suspect other platforms doesn't offer it as well.

Helping user to navigate through the web page, saving their time and allowing Call Center workers to focus on the most difficult tasks.

I appreciate Boost.ai for making it significantly easier for our customers and citizens to access services around the clock. The inclusion of Boost.ai's chatbots, whose answers are crafted by our professionals, means that our users can receive accurate and up-to-date information without needing a human to be available 24/7. This efficiency in service provision is a game-changer for customer service. I particularly find the integration of large language models (LLMs) valuable as they enhance the development process of chat responses, making the customer experience more personalized and delightful compared to using pre-written answers. The setting up of Boost.ai was reported to be very easy, which is an added bonus. Additionally, I am impressed by the potential for future improvements such as voice AI, which could further enhance our service delivery and provide even more valuable interactions.

**What do you dislike about Boost.ai?**

I find some organizational challenges that prevent us from fully developing the chatbot into its best version due to lack of time. Additionally, the need for large financial resources to fully take advantage of the platform's capabilities is a bit of a concern. Furthermore, although the certification classes are not an issue for me personally, they could become a barrier for some professionals if not offered in our native language, as this might discourage them from using Boost.ai.

Their platform is simple to use also for people like me with little to no coding experience. Their customer support is also very helpful and does their very best to help us succeed. They're following the marked demands pretty well and implements features in an impressive tempo.

**What do you dislike about Boost.ai?**

The downside I would say is the lack of best practices when it comes to using their AI tools and different answers depending on who you ask. It's also hard to know whether feedback is being considered.

The documentation is very clear, and I greatly appreciate features such as the API connector for executing code and resolving use cases that normal features do not cover.

I would like them to allow the inclusion of LLM models from other providers natively without having to resort to a manual integration with an API connector.

I find the boost platform very user-friendly and easy to learn from the perspective of someone who hasn't worked with this kind of service before. 

Having the ability to make quick changes and go live with it is something that makes our work very flexible and effective.

I've personally started working with filters and I find it a bit tricky to keep the filtered content from leaking out to the "default" filter.

The main issue with it is when trying to replace an action ID, it replaces the content for all filters. It'd be helpful to be able to separate the action IDs for different filters.

Dislike is a strong word, but they have some growth potential in their business side of things.
They dropped a price increase out of the blue and per email which was not very well recieved in our organization and created quite a bit of confusion and work.

We have developed a municipal virtual agent, Kommune-Kari, that has been launched in almost 100 Norwegian municipalities. The municipalities report back about a decrease in the number of inquiries by telephone and e-mail after they launched Kommune-Kari, which saves them time. They also see a reduction in repetitive questions from their inhabitants, this is now solved by the chatbot instead.

The most powerful NLU/NLP in the market yet the most user-friendly platform. Easy and fast to implement and empowered with a lot of pre-trained content for relevant industries and processes. The scalability is better than any other platform I've seen - you can literally have thousands of intents with a prediction of over 90%, and the administration of the bot is effortless. I also appreciate the many standard integrations available, as well as the high security offered by the platform.

**What do you dislike about Boost.ai?**

There's really not anything that I dislike, but of course, there are some developments needed for the future like more languages (there are at this point 30 languages which is very good). I also see a need for further integrations to be developed to support more platforms out-of-the-box.

We have automated customer service processes both for external service (B2C and B2B) and for internal employee service (HR and IT support) at numerous clients. Boost.ai has developed a market-leading platform for Conversational AI. It's easy to use (no/low-code), has great UX, and integrates well with other systems. It makes it easy to develop scalable virtual agents that deliver an excellent user experience for end-users. They've also integrated conversation analytics, task management, and systematic testing in their solution, which enables you to work with continuous improvement. Hence even at an Enterprise scale, it's easy to develop and improve the Virtual Agents.

Analytics reporting could have been better, but I guess they are working to improve those capabilities as well – as their product is developing at a high pace.

**Recommendations to others considering Boost.ai:**

If you are considering investing in a Conversational AI platform, you should consider boost.ai's product. It is market-leading in the Conversational AI space. One of the best quality measures for a Conversational AI platform is to check how many Virtual Agents that's in production right now. From my experience, many vendors give promises of a lot of functionality and capabilities, but they don't deliver when it comes to security, UX, and scalability. Some vendors could therefore have 'big logos' in their portfolio, but always check if the project and Virtual Agents are still alive and that it didn't 'die' due to the already mentioned reasons.

**What problems is Boost.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We build scalable and 'transactional' Virtual Agents (VA) to automate conversations and processes in a conversational user interface (both text and voice). The VA provides excellent 24/7 service for both Customers (I.E. in Customer Service) and Employees (I.E. HR, IT, Facility Management, etc.), and they help users to get and find information, do tasks, and get help and advice.

Implementation for mobile isn't fully set up yet, which led to some snags while initially setting up the VA on our mobile app. We had to find workarounds for now until this is available.

Boost.ai has an easy and intuitive UI, making it easy to understand how to build your virtual assistant. There is plenty of opportunities for making conversational flows, where you can easily constumaize the flow to different custumers and fully automate customer inquiries with API's to different systems. The platform also makes very scalable virtual agents, making it possible to build a broad intelligence and lots of conversational flows. 

In addition to the great platform, the people working in boost are really helpful if there are any issues we are not able to solve ourselves.

**What do you dislike about Boost.ai?**

There are some reporting functionalities I would like to see in the future, specially related to their human chat-solution. However, when there are  spesific functionalities missing, I add them to boost.ai's feedback system, and other customers and partners using boost.ai can vote for the suggestions. Boost takes these into consideration when making the roadmap for the platform. With the fast development of their platform, a lot of the functionalities I've missed earlier is already in place.

We have built virtual agents to answer repetitive questions from customers, automated more complex inquiries by integrating the solution with other systems, and increased sales and decreased churn by making proactive and helpful conversational flows. You are bound to their hierachy structure which works well in some cases but not in all. In terms of control over more complicated interactions and voice conversations there is still some way to go. No testing enviroment in their default solution. retraining takes a lot of time.
