Expect to do bit of troubleshooting. - While integrating Booqable to an external website is fairly easy, you will notice that the default cart leads back to your Booqable online store. This adds an extra layer if complexity for multilingual website and to keep branding consistent for users who travelling between your site and the Booqable store. - The online store is alright if you use a theme , but it was too limited for our needs. **What problems is Booqable Rental Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are a lot of booking systems and plug-ins out there, but very few that allow you to efficiently manage an inventory in the context of a rental business. Booqable is one of them, and they harmonized all the essential components needed to run a rental business brilliantly, at an affordable price. The ability to setup complex payment methods while being able to select flexible date ranges was just not something we could easily setup on other platform we tested, such as WooCommerce or Wix. The most appealing feature for us that Booqable was able to deliver on was the ability for visitors to browse our online store and add multiple products to their cart with the click of a button, therefore reducing friction before checkout. ### 2. When I was initially looking for a backend platform to base my buisness' logistics and management on, I ran into a plethera of rental business software and with all of that, a massive headache. The market is saturated with options that try to focus on selling you their software with a sales team, rather than building actually good software. Findind Booqable ended my search pleasantly. The Booqable platform is well integrated with tons of third party website software, has a ton of customizability and control over the design and look and feel of my rental site, and checks every feature box I could think of to run my business. I would consider myself fairly technoligcally-inclined and use the platform frequently, and I'm happy to say that Booqable's technical integration is excellent as well. My front-facing customer platform integrates seamlessly into booqable and even uses the Booqable API to pull very specific information points. Their plans are very easy to compare and Booqable allows you to change plans as you scale your business, so you're always getthe the best value as your business grows. They are a software partner that is easy to start and grow your business on. With all that, the decision to go with Booqable for my buiseness' needs was a no-brainer. **What do you dislike about Booqable Rental Software?** The Booqable platform is built to be bullet-proof: during the initial stages of starting up my business, I ran into many technical challenges, but Booqable had a ready-made solution waiting at every corner. I was thoroughly blown away at their software's capabilities, it's clear that they know what they're doing. The only thing I could say is a dislike is a very small one for me, but could certainly be a point of improvement. When your business manages multiple locations, and with those multiple locations, multiple sets of staff specific to each location, the Booqable software does not allow you to assign employee accounts to specific locations. This isn't a dealbreaker, but it would be better if there was a way to limit employee access based on specific location. **What problems is Booqable Rental Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** My business is in the rental car space at local airports. Booqable is the center of my logistics management and operations and solves the problem of allowing customers to book my vehicles and see availability in real-time. The available options for tagging and descriptions, creating product variations, applying discounts, sending invoices and emails to customers have all been incredibly useful. The platform makes checkout and checkin of gear quick and easy for our staff and customers alike. **What do you dislike about Booqable Rental Software?** There have been some great improvements and additions to the platform since we started, but a couple of issues as well. At the beginning of a new month, the calendar has a tendency to pop up on the previous month (with all of the days greyed out). Some customers didn't notice what month was listed, and assumed booking was unavailable for the current month. There's also a nice function for adding custom tax information for customers (for adding things like VAT, etc), but this hasn't worked for making an order tax exempt. We were able to convert to Booqable and integrate on our website over a four day period with zero downtime and no hiccups with reservations. It is a massive improvement from the previous system. I did a lot of research when trying to find an appropriate platform to create my hire website and Booqable was affordable as well as easy to use. It's a hassle to do those yourself for every customer, especially as you get busier. Additionally, warning emails to the website manager or notifications would be useful if something has been paid or a return date/pick up date is coming up. More importantly for me the product view on the customer end are of a good size as my business is completely online. When I have required it customer support has been excellent - you get a precise answer to your question rather than getting a ticket and a stock answer which I received from a previous supplier. The monthly subscription is very competitive compared to others - I have used another company who charged a £1800 set up fee and had higher monthly costs - let me be clear - bigger is definitely not always better! Booquable have much better support, the product looks much better on the customer end, you can also tweak the page setup so it looks exactly as you would like. It integrated with both PayPal and Stripe in under 30 seconds. From start to finish I had over 500 products listed, was online and taking orders within a week. The multiple staff accounts are also great as you can allow different staff to have different levels of access to the system. This system will definitely be an asset to any rental business! **What do you dislike about Booqable Rental Software?** Booquable is currently set up for customers to collect so no post option was immediately available - although the team created a very quick workaround in a matter of minutes. For me if customers could amend their bookings from their account portal without involving me it would be perfect - however a few manual changes to be done by me are absolutely fine when otherwise the system is excellent. **What problems is Booqable Rental Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have no knowledge of connecting the platform to my personal domain page. I set up a conference call within 24hrs of realising this. Igor from rental talked me through the process step by step and provided the code so I just needed to copy and paste. I had my personal domain connected within minutes and also left the call feeling like a technical wizard! Aside from that it does what it says on the tin.
