Snitch builds your company's org chart by asking people in Slack who they report to. It brings reporting lines and employee profiles together in one place, so colleagues can find each other and understand how the company is organized. There's no HR system to connect and no spreadsheet for someone to keep updating. It's built for growing companies that use Slack every day. As people join and responsibilities change, keeping track of the team becomes another job for HR, operations, or a founder. Snitch gives those people, and the employees who turn to them for answers, a shared view of who works where and who reports to whom. Setup starts with an administrator adding Snitch to Slack. They choose who to include, read the message employees will receive, and approve it before anyone is contacted. Snitch then sends each person a direct message with a question: "Who do you report to?" Their answers become the reporting lines on the chart. Snitch gets this information from employees themselves; it doesn't guess from job titles or import reporting lines from an existing database. After setup, Snitch helps keep the chart current. It asks new hires who their manager is, and employees can tell it when they change teams or start reporting to someone else. When a manager leaves Slack but still has people reporting to them, Snitch flags those relationships for an administrator to follow up. It also flags missing managers, reporting loops, and multiple people appearing at the top of the organization. Administrators can correct any reporting line by hand. Employees can ask Snitch questions directly in Slack about reporting chains, team sizes, or who to approach about a particular topic. They don't have to search through documents or find a colleague who knows the answer. Each person can also fill in a directory card with their location, time zone, contact details, and what to ask them about. For someone new to the company, these cards help put names and roles in context and make it easier to contact the right person. Participation stays under the team's control. Administrators can exclude individuals, while Snitch automatically skips bots, deactivated accounts, and Slack guests. Employees can answer later or say they don't report to anyone. Only verified members of the company's Slack workspace can access the finished chart. Snitch accesses the Slack member directory and the answers and profile information people provide. It reads direct messages sent to the bot. Snitch doesn't read conversations between other people, messages in Slack channels, or any files. Subscription plans cover teams of up to 200 people. Every plan includes all features, and teams can start with a free trial without having to provide a credit card.
