It is so easy to set up a meeting calendar and forward it to all my parents! As a teacher, I'm often overwhelmed by endless admin tasks. Last year I was scheduling all my meetings with parents individually, or sending an email with a few options listed and hoping no one requested the same slot. Then once the meetings were scheduled, I had to send out reminders a week and the day before to ensure they did not forget. It was exhausting and time-consuming! And it put all the responsibility on me. Then a co-worker showed me how to use boomerang; and now the whole process is automated monthly. It even reminds the parents for me! I do wish I could set up a calendar and lock certain meeting times as "virtual only" or "in-person only" options. Currently, I am having to set up two separate calendars, one for just virtual appt slots and a second calendar for just in-person slots Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is nothing I dislike about it. I use it almost every day and have been for quite some time. One thing they could improve on is calendar collaboration between multiple parties. The one on one scheduling is GREAT, and I use it daily! But I haven't seen an effective way to allow multiple parties to collaborate on an available date unless I missed it. I love the calendar! It really helps me book meetings with my other peers at the company. I send customers and partners different calendars, according to who I want them to meet with. If it's a partner, then I will send a Calendar together with my peers from integrations. Actually there aren't any things that I dislike about Boomerang - it's really a great tool and I'm absolutely happy with it - so much that I pay for the premium service out of my own pocket, even if it's not an official tool used by the company that I work for Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate that boomerang allows you to add a schedule with customizable titles! Also, letting you know when an email has been opened is super helpful for my role as an account manager, so I know whether people are seeing my emails or not.

Lastly, the snooze button has many different options that help with all types of emails. If I need a specific time or want something to come back later in the day/week, Boomerang has me covered!

My only main complaint about boomerang is the calendar graphics that you add to your email. First, the calendar graphic, if you put in your one-step scheduling, looks a little crowded, and it can be hard to choose the right time.

Also, if there were a way to not take users off the page when they schedule, that would be great.

A second smaller complaint is if there was a way to tell who opened an email. It automatically tells you it's opened even if someone CCe'd on the email opens it. Any information to help identify who is opening it would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can schedule for an email to come back into my inbox on a busy. That way I can respond to someone later when things are less hectic. I also like that when sending an email to someone, I can schedule for it to come back into my inbox if they havent responded. It's an easier way for me to keep tabs on the operations. The scheduling plug in makes it very simple for partners to find times that work for meetings and book directly from my email, rather than having to click through one or multiple links to get to the details. Likewise, it allows the person booking the call to compare timings against their own calendar without the struggle of flipping between tabs and trying to cross compare. There's only one setting for the meeting availability and length. Suppose you're looking to book a longer or shorter meeting than usual, or you have a temporary change in availability that isn't reflected in your calendar. I tried this app for scheduling and kept it for four main reasons: (1) It took me just a few minutes to set it up; (2) It allowed me to set up a scheduling page with multiple choices for meeting length; I can insert that link in various places (e.g., in my email signature) ; (3) I'm able to embed a calendar into an email when I am asking someone to meet with me, making it easier and quicker for them to choose a time; and (4) I readily integrated scheduling with other apps so when a meeting is set, we both receive a calendar invite with a virtual meeting (i.e., Zoom) link. I use the meeting scheduler as a link in my email signature section, as well as a link within the email as needed. I have had quite a few contacts say how easy it was to use, and they have indicated that they would join up and use it too. I like that it syncs with my Google calendar. Super easy to set up and use. Gmail has added a number of features that Boomerang provides. For example, you can now "snooze" an email to get it out of your inbox until you need it.
