I use Boomerang in two specific ways: 1) to help find a meeting time that works for everyone (some people are just allergic to Doodle polls) and 2) to delay emails so they are sent out at the time of my choosing.

Both features are great. I'm an independent consultant, and when I am working with a company where everyone can see everyone else's schedule, but not mine, I can just share availability and everyone's happy.

I use the delayed emails for making sure instruction emails hit people's inbox at the right time (hint: it's not first thing on Monday morning when their inbox is full of news). It works seemlessly and I am super happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have found that some people (email recipients) are "afraid" to click the buttons that show up in the email when I use "Suggest Times". They just send me an email telling me their prefferred time, rather than clicking the button. (eye roll) . I use the 'return conversation to inbox feature daily' when I send emails out to make sure they come back to my inbox if there is no reply. I use this feature daily. This helps our team make sure that no follow up slips through the cracks without us having to note it separately! I also use Boomerang Bookable Schedule for scheduling interviews, it makes it so simple for candidates to select times and automatically sends an email out with calendar invites and video links. Sometimes emailed get pinged back to my inbox even if there's been correspondence since then on the thread. I think this happens when someone replies to a different email on the thread or I've sent another additional email they've replied to, etc. so I've boomeranged the 'wrong' message. This can just be annoying - but its really not a big issue and better safe (multiple emails that I don't need) than sorry (missing an important follow up!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that you can overlay all of your coworker's calendars with a simple selection tool. I also love that it is all done directly in my gmail app and I don't have to switch back and forth between email and my Google calendar. It is super easy to implement, a quick plugin download and you are ready to go! I also love how easy it is to overlay various timezones so I can send my clients meeting options in their own timezone. The fact that the availability is a live feed is also super useful - no more double bookings!

- I can customize and completely control my schedule. The control options are easy to use and very handy.

Seamless to sugest meetings with preset availabilities or specific ones. Connecting the calendar so that once a meeting is booked it prevents others from booking that time slot is game changer, where before I would tell clients I'm free on Tuesday and then both of them say yes.

I love that I can pop my availability right into an email with the click of a button. It makes life so much easier. I'm no longer wasting time looking at my schedule, dropping my availability into an email, and by the time they respond I am booked for that time and we have to start all over again. Boomerang was one of the original scheduling extensions I believe, even before Gmail integrated it into their native UI. Boomerang still provides good freemium features, and I like that it incorporates the ability to schedule meetings as well as emails, and to track opens of messages sent using the extension. I think the service has been trying to integrate too many features, like the AI content generator, that seem unnecessary and is distracting to the original interface.
