It would be great if our calendar updated when someone booked with us so that we would not still have that time open for scheduling. Although I have not don't specific A/B testing, I think that more potential clients are using the link we send in initial email to pick time to meet. Regarding your feedback, the calendar event behavior you describe is built into Boomerang's scheduling tools to prevent conflicts: when you share your availability by sending a Magic Live Calendar or a link in an email, Boomerang will keep that availability in sync with your calendar. Once someone books a time on your calendar that conflicts with a time you've already offered to another guest, Boomerang will remove that timeslot from the availability you shared everywhere. Every time another guest opens the email you sent them, we'll refresh the Magic Live Calendar and scheduling link to prevent conflicts. The most useful for me is the ability to postpone emails or retrieve them if they are not answered after a specified time. I specifically re-installed Boomerang for the integrated scheduling tool, and holy moly this has been a game-changer for me! I schedule many sales-related meetings with remote clients across the USA in various time zones and previously used a calendar link to set appointments. I found it was almost impossible to get some people to click the darn link, but with Boomerang the calendar is visible INSIDE the email. I get something like 50-80% higher response rates when trying to schedule appointments with Boomerang instead of a traditional calendar link. It's even better for my mail merge efforts post-sales events (like webinars or in-person conferences). I can't recommend this enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I had a coworker recommend Boomerang after I complained about how difficult it is to set up appointments with clients. We do all of our calls virtually, and I found myself in countless never-ending threads as we tried to schedule client calls. Boomerang allowed me to send all my availability at once, and with one click, a client is booked to my Google Calendar, and a Zoom link is automatically generated. It's been an absolute game-changer. What used to take an hour of exchanges rife with miscommunication now takes a single email! I no longer dread scheduling client calls, and that's something I never thought I'd say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Boomerang for Gmail? My only complaint is that when I insert a calendar schedule, a very generic blurb pops up. I maintain very close relationships with my clients, and the standard blurb feels a little too informal for my tastes. I wish there was a way to disable this, and if there's a way already, I wish it was more intuitive to find that setting. I'd spend hours checking my email and trying to establish a time for a meeting, but the exchange was often full of miscommunication and confusion. A lot of times, my clients gave up before the meeting was ever booked.
