NFG was the right choice for our non-profit. We have seen a definite increase in donations since we began using Network for Good three years ago. It has provided us with a place to keep track of donor gifts, and it has given us helpful tools to reach our donor base better. NFG staff have been helpful and kind. Early on, we worked with NFG fundraising coach Elisabeth Finlayson, and her guidance and advice were invaluable. We are glad that we chose NFG as our donor management system. We host multiple conferences each year and would like more options for managing registrations that come through NFG. What problems is Bonterra Network for Good solving and how is that benefiting you? We wanted to connect with multiple donors through video and texting. NFG has helped us implement engagement plans. Our Giving Tuesday was non-existent before NFG. Now from Giving Tuesday until yearend, we find it easy to interact with donors and make them aware of our non-profit needs. We can easily keep track of all of the donations that come in to our business. It is very user friendly and easy to learn. We write letters every month to thank our donors and can send them via mail, email or even video and it is very easy to keep track of everything. The only thing we have ever had a problem with is formatting of letters (spacing changes) after we have written them but it was easily fixed by customer service using the chat option. Bonterra fundraising lets us easily write letters to mail out or email to raise money and awareness for our company. It has been very beneficial to our company and easy to use so that we can communicate with our donors in an easy, manageable fashion. The folks at Bonterra have developed a platform that syncs all the things necessary for good development and fundraising work, then crafted software that allows someone with modest tech skills to create content like an expert. Their customer service is better than I've had with ANY other company for ANY other product...and it isn't even close. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Bonterra Network for Good? There are a few little things that could probably be tweaked to improve the product a little. Example: if a husband and wife have separate database entries, and one gives, that spouse that DOESNT give will pull up in reports of non-givers. It'd be good to have a way to link those...that said, there is a workaround in creating a group called "Giving Spouse" and tagging that spouse to be in that group and then you can exclude giving spouse as a group when you pull non-givers. I appreciate that the price point makes it very affordable or our small nonprofit model. The onboarding process was very easy, with great support all through the implementation steps. Now that we have been using the platform for nearly a year, I still receive great customer service any time there is a problem. I have had an ongoing issue with logging into our giving page because my last name changed after our initial signup. I kept running into issues when working with the customer service, and in this one case I gave up trying to resolve things because I didn't feel the support person genuinly understood my problem. Network For Good donor management software has solved so many problems that I would fail if I tried to list them all. Some of the problems solved were solved with features that they hadn't advertised and others were problems that we didn't even realize that we had. We have combined our volunteer database with our donor database, streamlining communications with both and turning one community into the other. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Bonterra Network for Good? The forms need some development work to enable us to create prettier forms. Since we use Stripe through NFG to process our donations, we have to request a report each month in order to reconcile deposits to our bank account with donations on our website. This needs to be something I can pull myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Bonterra Network for Good solving and how is that benefiting you? We can track and acknlowedge every donation we get quickly. This alone has prompted donors to become repeat donors. The ability to create custom reports is one of the key things we were missing, but didn't realize it. Now, we couldn't live without it. Knowing which donors participate in which of our fudning efforts and why has been key to making our messaging more effective. Being able to communicate with our donors in a variety of ways, video messages, email blasts, and text blasts has enabled us to begin figuring out how and how often our donors prefer to hear from us. We were able revamp our newsletter subscriton process with a viable subscribe form with Recaptcha. Also, our subscribers can unsubscribe easily and all of this can happen without human intervention. We used to have to do both manually. We can create and send our Newsletters with an NFG email blast. Using the resultant link means we no longer have to store these on our website. We just have to put the link there. We used to use Excel to track our donations and had no database for our volunteers. Bontera Guided Fundraising is intuiutive and easyt to use. The dreaded switch from our previous software went seamlessly and we were noticing improvements on day one. The Dashboards are extrememly helpful, filters are easy to use, but what really stands out is the resources and engagement plans that let us jump right in and reach more donors in an effective way.
