Our team is still fantastic and we still love the product and the integration. Support is still top notch in most cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Bonterra DonorDrive? The acquisition has seemed to slow down the roadmap quite a bit. It also seems like there might be more bureaucracy going on, which feels less focused on customers. There's still a number of features for individual giving forms and events that we'd love to see like more flexible layouts, upgrades to placeholders, sponsorship sales, and improvements to reporting. There also have not been any AI related upgrades, and I'd like to see this to ensure that the product isn't falling behind. There also seems to be less support coverage on chat, which is a bummer. We recently released an improvement to our default Constituent Export that adds Email Unsubscribe Date as an available field - this allows you to pull a report on all constituents who have opted out of emails. Also, please note that although constituents can unsubscribe from Scheduled Messages and Email Campaigns, they cannot unsubscribe from Triggered Notifications (aka transactional messages). Focus has been easy for our end users to adopt. It offers strong peer-to-peer fundraising tools and tight CRM/data integrations, which help us as a nonprofit save staff time and raise more money. For us, the reporting has some serious gaps and still needs refinement, and overall it feels very clunky to use. It’s also typically laggy when running reports, which makes the process frustrating. I love the ease of Bonterra DonorDrive with everything needed on one platform. It's great for getting participants registered, accepting donations, and tracking fundraising. My favorite part is the emails, which we use a lot to contact our participants without having to keep track of all the emails and names. We can easily separate emails to send to participants with different experience levels, like first year versus five years. I've heard the initial setup was super easy too. I love that Donor Drive is easy navigate and provides real time insights to the upcoming events and participants that have registered. I'm using DonorDrive in the context of organizing a Mini-THON event for my high school. As such, there is a mix of: -Adults using it in an advisory/administrative role. -Student officers using it in a leadership position. -Student participants using it as a means to be part of the event. These are three widely different applications and yet the software seems to have come easily to all three groups. I enjoy how powerful it is, allowing me to export exactly the data I want with custom formatting. My students are able to provide troubleshooting for their peers without resorting to contacting me every time, and the normal users (event participants) are registering and creating teams with ease. I had to learn what "Event Insights" meant and how that might be different from "Control Panel," for example. Every new piece of software has a learning curve, though. A Mini-THON event involves hundreds of participants forming (and re-forming) dozens of teams while raising thousands of dollars. We simply couldn't manage it all without giving students a "them-facing" platform to do their own coordination. DonorDrive has been so simple to use which has been the most helpful aspect!! Being President of my organization means that I have to make sure all of my members get onto DonorDrive including our alumni. However, with DonorDrive it takes me no time at all to get everyone on! I’m not sure if this is a DonorDrive issue or an issue related to my fundraiser but I dislike how my DonorDrive link will stop working after the fundraising period is over.
