Rather it sends sequential e-mails after the first signee has finished. The front-end matches the features of most other e-signature platforms like DocuSign, but the back-end API is particularly easy to start using and implement in a production setting. The simplicity of the platform makes it much easier to get going, and also helps with navigating the documentation. In the few cases we ran into issues we were able to get some sort of resolution from customer support quite quickly. **What do you dislike about BoldSign?** As with any platform, the API documentation could use some work. There are some inconsistencies, and while they provide examples for all endpoints they do not show the schema for each object. When you combine inconsistent letter-casing, and switching between using upload multi-part form and JSON it can take a bit of trial and error to get where you want to go. Once we got our account set up with what we needed for ID verification, I was able to get documents out without a problem. Navigating is simple and makes sense, with everything easy to find and well laid out. I am able to see if people have looked at, or attempted the verification process, and edit information if needed without much hassle at all. Customer service was great in helping me get set up and going. **What do you dislike about BoldSign?** The only trouble I had was with the download option, I didn't realize at first that if I gave people the option to print and sign, that I was unable to download documents individually even thought that was the setting I had it on. After some digging, I found where it told me I needed to remove that to be able to download the documents individually. The other issue I had was with the verification itself. I had it on lenient, but I still had to go in and adjust things after people failed. Little things like an apostrophe in their name, or middle initial vs. full middle name. Most of the time it was fine if I didn't use a middle name at all, but once it wouldn't pass until I put it in. If I upload a layered PDF that is "live" (non-flattened"), the layered additions present from editing those documents via LuminPDF or Acrobat, or any other third-party PDF processing software, are not positioned in the correct location within said document(s). This seems to be a BoldSign specific PDF attachment/presentation/formatting incompatibility issue unique to their platform. Not an issue w/ DocuSign at any point in the past when we engaged them previously; ii. The "sign next" feature needs some work. If a signatory scrolls through the document manually, clicking "sign next" takes them simply to the "next" signatory object / signature box object relative to where the user was at the time of the action being taken, i.e. if a signatory party scrolls to page #5 for instance, but has already signed on #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #9, #10, #11, one would expect that the user should be prompted to sign the *next unsigned object* (the lowest page # that contains unsigned objects needing action by the signatory party). It is easy to keep track of when a document has been sent, opened and completed. Clients are able to complete the form, sign it and it comes back to me. ### 50. This is so important if a prospect is limited on time and just want to speed through the process. **What do you dislike about BoldSign?** It's perfect for standard contracts. For modern sales proposals, I recommend BoldSign add the ability to embed a YouTube video or Vimeo video. **What problems is BoldSign solving and how is that benefiting you?** It offers a very cost-effective alternative to far more expensive options. It's one of those "it sounds too good to be true but it isn't" deals.
