Bold Reports has a nice angular designer component that will easily integrate well inside our existing angular UI. The integration was fairly simple , very good technical support team . the support team provided both the Angular and Java code, and we integrated it with very little effort. Throughout the process of implementing the embedded tools into our application Bold Reports was very responsive and quick to respond to any help requests. They provided instruction and code examples to help the development process. We also have a team member creating sample reports and templates to be used by our clients and any questions were also quickly answered. There is extensive documentation online, however it can be tough to navigate. It would be great if data sources were compatible with the OAuth2 protocol. Although there is a work around to use them, the solution does not include token lifetime management. In modern applications this is standard. Currently the API is a bit limited. It would be nice to see the scheduling of reports available. Using the embedded report designer, creating a schedule alongside in our UI is a natural next step.
