Ability to drag and drop or upload many documents at once. It is easy to use, flexible and compatible to any meeting type. Customer support is terrific, very responsive and timely. **What do you dislike about BoardEffect?** The inability to create hyperlinks within the book is a disadvantage. It would be nice if it would accept .jpg or .tif document types. I have never tried to insert a video as part of my deck, so I am not sure if that would be permissible. If it isn't, that would be a great add. **What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?** To quickly and easily pull together a large agenda with many contributors. BoardEffect serves as a safe, secure database for our board-related materials, which makes it so easy to refer back to past documents. Also, the customer service is STELLAR. They are very responsive and so helpful! **What do you dislike about BoardEffect?** Not really many downsides. They were recently acquired, so the interface changed a bit, but it is still quite easy to navigate the site despite these changes. **What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?** BoardEffect helps us communicate safely with our board and helps keep our documentation consistent. Again, BoardEffect is so important because it's where all of our board information is housed. ### 3. It would be great if we could share meeting minutes outside of a meeting book. **What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?** I love the addition of the join virtual link from the original diligent transition! It's significantly reduced the number of emails we get asking for zoom links. ### 4. Which is very important in saving troublishooting time. It is visually appealing and pretty easy to teach other administrators. The support is very timely **What do you dislike about BoardEffect?** Sometimes when making the meeting book the agenda items are not flexible to move around. The new interface has improved this greatly. The multi authentication seems to be the hardest part for most people and it grinds my gears but i don't think that is a boardeffect issue. **What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Boardeffect is useful in putting all the documents in a safe place to access and view. New side quests such as "scheduler" is very appreciated. ### 5. It is obvious the BoardEffect Team has put a lot of thought and work into the training, available Webinars and materials for this particular Diligent product. I have completed two (2) Board meetings using BoardEffect. The Directors and Executive Team found the App easy to install and the internal training we scheduled with small groups was also easy and informative to get them started with the new product. Creating the Board Meeting Book for each meeting is intuitive and easy to update the order of agenda items as well as attachments through the edit process. I am still learning BoardEffect and appreciate the enhancements that continue to be communicated by the BoardEffect Support Team. **What do you dislike about BoardEffect?** Preparing the meeting minutes is the only area so far that takes more time than it did using the Diligent BoardPaq product. The following areas are a bit clunky and take additional time in BoardEffect / Diligent's Meeting Minutes area: 1. Identifying the meeting attendees would be easier if the members of the workroom were already listed to select from a list. My name is the only name that pre-populates for meeting attendance. Once I start typing the names, the name selections pop up to select from, but this is time consuming due to the meeting attendees varying from meeting to meeting. 2. Reporting of voting details for meeting agenda items would be easier and quicker if a system tool was available to enter each step of the voting process. BoardPaq's system for automatically provided an area to select names for the "Move", "Second", and "Status" recording of agenda items submitted for approval. In BoardEffect, I am currently entering this information manually within a table for each agenda item receiving approval. If I am missing something within BoardEffect/Diligent Meeting Minutes for both of these items, I would love to receive some additional training or "how-to" information. Thank you!
