What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you? When we were using BoardPAC, I thought it was an easy way to upload meeting documents for users to access. However, once we started using BoardEffect, the whole process became even easier and more seamless from start to finish. On top of that, the “Manage Users” function felt more efficient. What I found especially impressive was being able to see the status of each user’s actions and send a reminder with a single button, which I thought was really cool. Ability to quickly create a meeting agenda using many types of formats without converting to PDF's such as Excel, Word, Power Point and PDF documents. Ability to drag and drop or upload many documents at once. It is easy to use, flexible and compatible to any meeting type. Customer support is terrific, very responsive and timely. It would be nice if it would accept .jpg or .tif document types. I have never tried to insert a video as part of my deck, so I am not sure if that would be permissible. BoardEffect has become an important governance tool because it's cost efficient, centralises Board operations, improves security, enhances document management and provides directors with a professional, efficient way to access meeting information. It performs consistently snd the staff are always available to help. Its greatest strengths are governance, organisation and ease of use. The biggest opportunity for future development lies in expanding AI-driven features and deeper integrations with enterprise productivity tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about BoardEffect? Overall, I've had a very positive experience with BoardEffect, but there are a few areas that could be improved. My biggest frustration is the messaging functionality within Meeting Rooms. Once a message or email is sent through the platform, there isn't an easy way to revisit that communication later from within BoardEffect itself. Instead, I have to search my email inbox to find what was sent. Having a dedicated message history or communications log within each meeting or workspace would make it much easier to track discussions and maintain a complete governance record. I would also like to see stronger AI capabilities, such as intelligent meeting summaries, action item tracking, document comparison, and more powerful search across board materials. Deeper integrations with Microsoft 365 and Outlook would further improve productivity by reducing the need to switch between applications. Aside from these enhancements, the platform performs well and has significantly improved the organisation, security, and efficiency of our Board processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is BoardEffect solving and how is that benefiting you? BoardEffect has significantly improved our governance processes by providing a secure, centralised platform for Board and Committee operations. Instead of relying on emails and multiple document versions, all agendas, meeting papers, resolutions and minutes are stored in one controlled environment, ensuring directors always have access to the most current information. One of the greatest benefits has been improved information privacy and control. Sensitive Board documents are no longer widely circulated through email, reducing the risk of unauthorised access, version control issues and accidental disclosure. Access to information can be managed appropriately, ensuring that confidential materials are only available to authorised users. The platform has also improved administrative efficiency by simplifying the preparation and distribution of meeting materials, reducing paper usage, and providing directors with easy access to information from any location. The interface is extremely user-friendlyand makes pulling board materials very easy. BoardEffect serves as a safe, secure database for our board-related materials, which makes it so easy to refer back to past documents. Also, the customer service is STELLAR.
