Recently, Boardable has completely changed the way we manage and hold meetings. It simplifies scheduling as well as task and resource management and makes it lean on administrative overhead. It also made our documents storage and collaboration easier which has saved us to become more organized and effective. To keep the pulse of the projects, tracking and assigning action items right after the meetings has also ensured a smoother workflow and more accountability across projects. Boardable works well for many things, but report generation could use a bit of flexibility. It's hard to adjust reports to individual needs. Moreover, the mobile app is no where near smooth and responsive as the desktop one, so it does not quite come as a convenient option for people who tend to work away from the desktop. Boardable helps me love how it enhances accountability in our meetings. With the feature of task management, we get to assign important action items and track the progress, while receiving feedback and following up as needed. For those already using Boardable, one gripe I have is that task deadlines aren’t extremely flexible when it comes to customizing them. How it sometimes cont single project limits timelines of larger projects. Besides, it is sometimes facing file upload glitches during prep for meetings. Dashboard interface for Boardable is a top notch, every tools and menu is specifically placed within its categories and making it easy for board members to find tools that they need, especially related to the meeting operation need. Coordination and meeting date schedule between participant is simple to organized, meeting reminder is sent to platform that particpant choose, either on email, calendar or on the notification center. Building meeting report based on minute meeting logs that is recorded automatically via audio has increase content accurancy and no important minute is mistakenly missing on the report. What separates Boardable is collaboration, which is enabled through document sharing and real time posting of comments. Since it makes it a bit easier for board members to participate even if they can’t be there in person, making its main use case pretty clear. This keeps us moving quickly between meetings, and keeps us continuously collaborating. The problem with Boardable is its document editing features are not as sophisticated as what you get from other platforms. There’s no real time collaboration on editing files, so we have to use external tools to work on documents with our team around, and throw a wrench in our process and introduce extra steps to get a simple job done. The most impressive strength that I was able to capture from Boardable is improved ability in managing meetings. What is more, it consolidates the creation of agendas, tracking of action items, as well as document sharing. The biggest downside that I have noticed when using Boardable is that it can be somewhat challenging to alter the action item tracking and the agenda templates at times. It can be somewhat rigid due to the set templates whereby it becomes a little hard to vary the templates to fit certain circumstances. Moreover, although the document management is valuable, the search functionality within the documents may take time and pause to show the result while searching for some information during the meeting. That means we’ve had to set reminders to manually see if anything has changed which slows the workflow by just a bit. There is one inconvenience when it comes to using the Boardable – there are not so many options available in the section of reporting. In other occasions though, getting specific information about board activity may be slightly time consuming, thus we are slowed down when making decisions. It make complex process to schedule meeting time with all our board members easy, which is handled manually before this product implementation.
