One element that I find a bit limiting is their insights and reporting suites. The existing solution meets all my needs for my day to day, but I'd love to be able to create more custom reports based on some of the user profile attributes that we store. I have been really impressed with Blue Shift, the system was very intuitive to use and as a Marketer I liked that I was able to be self-sufficient and didn't need to rely on a Developer to help me do a project. I needed to have the Dev team code all the emails, but I feel that with good platforms a proper stand up does take time. With there being so many options and features in BlueShift sometimes the manpower and team that is needed to support some of the backend programming, functionality, upkeep, etc. can be more than what we are able to allocate, which means that we are not getting the best features from the platform if we don't have the capacity to maintain it. I highly recommend that any company that looks to take on this type of marketing platform do an extensive vetting process to make sure you have the bandwidth to support everything you want to do.
