A white boarding tool that is actually secure! **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2021 **What do you like best about Bluescape?** Bluescape is secure, meaning the large companies I work with at my agency have it as an approved tool, something Miro and other tools like it cannot seem to achieve. Bluescape lets us leverage these grate collaborative tools with confidence. It also allows for customization of great templates to re-use your favorite canvases across multiple projects. **What do you dislike about Bluescape?** Compared to it's less-secure competitors, Bluescape is more clunky and slow. It also seems to have less intuitive controlls to select, move, resize, etc. Though it has a steeper learning curve, it's learnable and I am getting a lot faster. **What problems is Bluescape solving and how is that benefiting you?** Even before the pandemic, we have a diversly located team and since the pandemic started, it's become more important. Bluescape lets us have open ended collaboration space that is truly free form. ### 2. Collaborative Bluescape system. **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Bernice R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2020 **What do you like best about Bluescape?** For us, the collaborative system is very important in this company to manage jobs and better projects, it is for this reason that I love how Bluescape performs a very efficient function for us as a work team and also offers us tools, with conferences, chat, calls and to be able to send documents or files to work live, that is, observe what each member of the team does. **What do you dislike about Bluescape?** The service for us has been incredible so I do not have a negative point in this regard and it has worked, however I think it can improve in certain aspects by giving more optimization to the conference system to avoid any type of video or audio priority since it occurs in To a certain point, however, it has worked correctly but needs to improve. **Recommendations to others considering Bluescape:** I don't have a point It seems to me a software that has given great objectives that sheltered solutions at the time of teamwork and in turn has allowed us to interact interactively with each of our employees and users of this platform, it seems to me that for this reason and its interface I highly recommend it. **What problems is Bluescape solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem of the company is to keep the work teams connected and Bluescape does it wonderfully so in my opinion it has done a good job and from the users of the company we have had positive comments when implementing it because they save time when use it. ### 3. Having this shared work space allows for students who are less likely to interact to still participate. It has also been a great collaboration tool and a great way to track progress throughout the course. Bluescape allows for creativity and flexibility in the classroom. Students have a lot of fun interacting with the wall and being able to participate from their desks or even from home. Uploading from several platforms is also very helpful and the autosave is great. One of my favorite features is the meet option, this allows for even stringer collaboration with members not present in the same location. I hope to use this more this semester to provide more feedback on this function. **What do you dislike about Bluescape?** Some of the tools are a little difficult for non tech savvy people. The canvas is a little difficult to use since once it is placed if cannot be moved. I preferred the location marker feature, and or give the possibility of moving the canvas. Zooming was also an issue in the classroom, it is difficult especially on devices such as laptops and tablets to zoom. There is a lag on these devices so it would be nice to have a zoom function that you can select a polygon of where you want to move. Notecards are a little small, but extremely useful for creating activities. **Recommendations to others considering Bluescape:** It is great for collaboration, group activities, and classroom management. Wonderful software for large and small groups. Very visual and fun to use. **What problems is Bluescape solving and how is that benefiting you?** Collaboration across disciplines has been a challenge that this tool has given some solutions too. Visuals are always great to explain detailed topics. Being able to have bluescape as a live brainstorming canvas is fantastic. ### 4. The benefits of Bluescape is that everyone in your workspace can see the shared documents, videos, links, from the web or files from your computer. ### 5. The potential this type of collaborative program will provide. **What do you dislike about Bluescape?** The program still feels somewhat green with some of its functionality; like the ability to undo or its ability to identify which user contributed content, etc. **Recommendations to others considering Bluescape:** Hang in there, provide open and helpful criticisms. **What problems is Bluescape solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've been able to collaborate more often and on "our own" schedules. ### 6. It is very useful because we can collaborate on documents and participate in the meetings, even if we aren't physically present at the meetings. **What do you dislike about Bluescape?** It is slightly difficult to move around on Bluescape, as you have to click and drag to move on the wall rather than scroll with the mouse. **What problems is Bluescape solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is very beneficial to our members because we can collaborate easily on documents and other related items ### 7.
