Bluejeans events is the next level of virtual events, with all the features you could need and want. The gui is spot on and intuitive and the quality is next level. My only dislike is the dial in number produced as part of the invite defaults to US and there doesn't appear to be a way to change this on the events platform. Benefit wise it has reduced the cost of hosting and attending such meetings but has also allowed us to have more frequent meetings due to the ease of running these, it has also significantly improved the attendance of such meetings enabling us to be far more engaged with partners. What do you dislike about BlueJeans Virtual Events? would be great to have the captions option to increase accessibility for people with hearing impairments Not always evident if the participants cal already see you or not Didn't know bluejeans primetime changed the name to bluejeans events, this wasn't well publicised Maybe should assist hosts in setting up their environment to look more professional Not everyone in my organisation has access to Bluejeans events and the capacity of bluejeans meetings is not large I don't think enough people are aware of the existence of this product, hence why a lot of large meetings turn into everyone listening to someone typing. more marketing is required and a better integration with the main bluejeans to draw people to use "events". It has great connectivity and ease of use with all the integrations and actually cares about security. We've used half a dozen platforms to communicate with our offices overseas where bandwidth is much lower and Bluejeans by far has the most reliable connectivity. What do you dislike about BlueJeans Virtual Events? The events had a bit of a learning curve to set up and host a large scale event with multiple presenters. Bluejeans is not as mainstream as some of the others (zoom, gotomeeting) so a lot of external participants complain about having to download "another meeting app" however, there are settings to help with this and default attendees to browser which I highly recommend. Company all-hands meetings and customer facing product webinars/training, the greatest benefits of BlueJeans is the one click scheduling with all the calendar and communication integrations as well as the ability to highlight parts of the meeting as its taking place with notes etc. We also pair this with the bluejeans rooms at each of our locations which has turned our conference rooms into a super conducive way to connect with teams anywhere in the world. Is easy for attendes to join event, they can join using their web browser or using their mobile through the BlueJeans Events app. I don´t have to worry about attendes using their microphone or turning on their cameras as presenter and moderators have their own joinning link. What do you dislike about BlueJeans Virtual Events? Our license is 200 seats and they charge $5 for each seat you go above the 200, there´s no limit for how many attendes can join during the event. You can enable registration to have a control of the number of attendes. We have had a large request of webinars during the pandemic and having BlueJeans Events, have let us to run multiple webinars at the same time. We have been able to expand our attendes capacity to 200 attendes and also been able to reach a large audience through Facebook Live. When you have BlueJeans Events you don´t need to have a connector for your H.323 onsite equipment, this has let us keep using our current legacy H.323 videoconferencing equipment. With a Learning Curve and Many Features" 3.5/5 What do you like best about BlueJeans Virtual Events? BlueJeans Events has a great interface for moderators. It is straightforward when you know where to look. I also like that BlueJeans is always available, and will get you the answer you need most of the time. I like the ease of accessing scheduled events through the online website. It is very easy to use to look at upcoming events, manage registrations, and schedule new events. I'd say that this platform is pretty well developed, too. Though it does take time to get to know all the features of the Events Platform and it can be very overwhelming for new users, the platform would not be what it is without these awesome tools. I appreciate that BlueJeans is constantly updating their platform to make it better using the feedback of users. It is easy to report problems and get help, which is a major plus. When we report problems, we know that BlueJeans is taking them into consideration and monitoring similar issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about BlueJeans Virtual Events? BlueJeans Events is just different. Users are used to other platforms, which creates a learning curve for BlueJeans. Some features are not as intuitive as they should be - chat panel, video layout, connecting to audio via phone. It is hard for users to understand the difference between BlueJeans and other platforms they have used. One feature that has been asked about is showing more than 9 videos on the screen at once and being able to scroll through all videos. Additionally, BlueJeans Events does not integrate well with Outlook. Another pitfall of BlueJeans is the nearly-indistinguishable line between Meetings and Events. It is hard to know when to use which platform. It seems nonsensical to have two different platforms for very very similar needs. The few different features between Meetings and Events seem that they would be helpful on the other platform, too. What problems is BlueJeans Virtual Events solving and how is that benefiting you? Currently, we are working to make BlueJeans Events a standard for our company. We have hit a few roadblocks, with users dialing in by phone and internet connectivity issues. We like the ease of scheduling on the BlueJeans web browser, but it does present a struggle when integrating with Outlook. Overall, there have been a lot of small technical glitches that make it hard to rely on BlueJeans for all of our needs. Though BlueJeans support has been there along the way, the amount of problems that have stemmed makes it hard for our users to completely trust the platform. We are hoping that this platform will help us to achieve an end-all platform for meetings and events that, when our users get to completely understand, will be seamless and very helpful going forward. Add Calling options - (if we need some employee who's offline, we should be able to call directly from the system) - that would make all people available to calls, of at least if someone is late we could call him/her and remind to join. 8. Add online doodle possibilities :) 9. Convert conference calls (voice calls) into Blue Jeans calls - possibility 10. Link to any Cloud or One drive - to make documents available for any call attendee 11. Current Recordings could not be easily available for others. Please make it happen. I download my recordings and than uploading to the cloud. 12. Give a name to the meeting (even in the Subject of The e-mail) 13. Add separate chat function / separate speak function with the member of the call (to re-negotiate some parts :) (now i'm trying to message my employee if he is speaking bullshit ::) and i want to stop him. I like that employees can answer questions on a named or anonymous basis. Depending on the conversation topic, employees may feel more "safe" asking a question anonymously. I also like the different roles that can be assigned (i.e. presenter, moderator, attendee).
